There are people who have decided that declaring that they don’t know when life begins, covers them, even if it turns out, that they are wrong.
Rather than erring on the side of caution, and deciding not to allow abortion, they would risk full culpability for the bloody end of about 4,000 unborn human beings, every single day.
In the end, will hiding behind the question of when life begins, be a safe place to stand?
Pope Francis and Joe Biden are willing to take that chance.
Is Joe Biden the usurper of a presidency he did not fairly win, and the Pope a modern-day Pontiff who is after all, just another religious respecter of persons? That may explain a lot.
Some are now asking if we should not be surprised by what comes from a fake president and a false prophet, but for the sake of civility we will ask the scripture what God has to say.
This Friday the Pope told Joe Biden that he should continue to receive communion although he supports and condones the murderous abortion of thousands of unborn people every day.
After talking with the Pope for about 90 minutes, Biden emerged to announce to the questioning press, that he can now go on receiving communion, and the blood on his hands has been whitewashed or to use a more religious term, it has been absolved.
Not only does Biden defy his own church’s teaching on abortion, but he ignores the scriptural admonition the do a careful self-examination before communion, so as not to partake of the communion unworthily.
That biblical admonition is followed by a strict warning that those who ignore this guideline may be subject to sickness and death.
What does the scripture say about partaking unworthily? Let’s examine it.
“For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord's death till he come. Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.” (1Cor 11:26-30)
Going along with progressive or liberal policy that allows abortion for any reason and at any stage in a pregnancy, can hardly pass for a serious self-examination. Such introspection should end with a bowed head and a sense of deep shame. But we are dealing with a man, that we now see, cannot do anything that remotely seems American, how much less, something that seems – holy?
Since the American press was not allowed to cover the meeting with the Pope, we can only guess whether Biden is being completely honest about what the Pope really had to say.
The one thing the press did cover about the meeting is, that Biden shared a story about baseball pitcher Satchel Paige with the Pontiff.
For the rest of us – even with an elementary knowledge of mathematics, we know that a lot of Satchel Paige kinds of stories will never be told. Joe Biden allows potential sports heroes to be cutoff and discarded as mere medical waste.
You can’t make a pitch without a life.
