Watching the mainstream media or seeking some insights from social media is today the equivalent of filling you gas tank with water and expecting to make it to work.
First, it must be said that the very common definition of prophecy and of prophets is slightly askew. A prophet does not always predict the future and they are not just prognosticators. The definition of prophecy is the telling forth of the will and counsel of God, which includes the past, present, and future.
Unlike the Old Testament prophets, God has called those in the present age (church age) to a different kind of prophetic utterance. Now, just telling someone about Jesus Christ and what the cross means is considered prophecy.
“…for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10b
But to be clear, as the last days or eschatological prophecies begin their obvious race toward the return of Christ, the Old Testament and New Testament warnings are taking on a whole new meaning. The fig tree generation or the Z generation needs these prophecies now more than ever.
In fact, it is the promise of God that as these days approach, more prophets, and more of God’s people, will be called upon to blast these last warnings out to a lost and dying world.
“And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions.” Joel 2:28
But the very nature, mission, and calling of the prophets has changed. That also is part of God’s strategy to reach the world.
The scriptures are quite clear. The throttling of the truth, censorship, and general disdain for morality and the Bible message will give way to open persecution in the very near future. Both Jews and Christians will be attacked, and just before the appearance of Christ in glory they will be used as fodder and even killed on a very large scale. Revelation 6:11
Because the world becomes so egregious in its own path of destruction, both the prophecies and the prophets change their nature by the very power of the God that calls them to prophecy.
The prophecies take on a “take it or leave it” nature. This change is reflected in the last prophecies found in the last book of the Bible, which is of course aimed at the last generation. To wit:
“And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand. He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still. And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.” Revelation 22:10-12
The prophets of the last days will be emboldened as never before and many of them, which in fact has already started, will be willing to go to prison or be martyred for their words.
When the rebellion against God is finally maxed, God will go one step further by calling two very special prophets. These two will preach the final warning from the city of Jerusalem for a period of three and a half years.
The “two witnesses” will have the power to resist and or destroy anyone who comes against them, then they will be killed before the gaze of the entire world. But it does not end there.
While the world is transfixed on their dead bodies lying in the streets of Jerusalem, they will be resurrected and removed as the world stares in awe. Revelation devotes the entire eleventh chapter to these events. Revelation 11
Darwinists have convinced this generation that they have progressed from apes swinging in the trees to scientifically advanced geniuses who are on the cusp of interstellar travel among the boundless stars and planets.
While crowding ahead to their own destruction, the wicked and the wary are quite unaware—itself one of the signs of the end. No one will seem to notice that travel anywhere will not catch up to the rate at which our world is sinking into moral depravity and death.
Climate alarmists have seen to it that nations will spend untold billions to avoid death by choking, but not a nickel is spent by this world to curb the sinning, the sexual perversions, the transgender lies, the homosexual twists, the abortions, the hypocrisy of politics and academia, and the endless refuse coming from our most revered Hollywood freaks.
And we think this can just go on forever!
So, what’s next.
First, for the United States, I can assuredly say, the biggest economic crash in our history looms large. This author has warned and published this warning many times over the years, but it is closer today than at any other time. Read it again or for the first time. Prophecy and the American Economy
Second, Europe and the entire world will watch as a new kind of world leader emerges from the EU. He will be a political, military, and economic genius with so many admirable qualities that the entire world will find him irresistible.
To the world, he is Mr. Wonderful. To scripturally based believers, he is the dreaded antichrist.
Whatever you think of him doesn’t really matter because he is the one who leads the world to the final judgement. His time is short, but he manages to take the world along with him to the final hurrah.
