Homosexuality, transgenderism and same-sex marriage: are these civil rights?

Starting an article or report with a scriptural (Biblical) verse tends to eliminate readers that have long ago decided that God has nothing to say about their behaviors. It is only the hope that they may continue reading, for some unknown reason, and come to the conclusion, or even a suspicion that they may be on the wrong path. That is what keeps us pounding on the keyboard.

The only other reason we keep it up, is because some have not fallen to the lies as of yet, while others may just need a heretofore unforeseen means of explaining their convictions on the subject.

The use of the word 'delusion' appears only twice in the entire bible. It appears once in the Old Testament and is used in that context to explain what Israel would undergo because they refused to hear what God had to say about their sinful rebellion against his word. To wit:

"I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not." (Isa 66: 4)

The word appears in the New Testament for exactly the same reasons. To wit:

"And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie." (2Th 2: 10-11)

There are thirteen verses in the bible that clearly define homosexuality as a sinful practice that is considered an abomination by God. The bible verses about homosexuality make it all too clear for anyone to deny, all that one can do is argue against them or deny that God is the author of these warnings.

Modern man adds three new levels of culpability to homosexual sins

Sodomy is a sin that caused the destruction of two ancient cities, but in these last days, modern man has added three new dimensions to the scourge of sodomy.

1. In the days of Sodom and Gomorrah transgenderism was quite impossible, but today with the help of medical science all it takes is some hormonic juggling and some skill with a scalpel to bring a twisted dream to reality. It doesn't seem to matter to those who espouse these kinds of changes that transgenders are struggling with medical problems, mental health issues and suicide rates that are about five times higher than others.

2. The second new twist is same-sex marriage. In the ancient world it was unheard of because there were no ecclesiastical or civil officials that would entertain such an absurd notion. It is the ultimate defiance of the will and word of God. If homosexuality is an abomination then same-sex marriage can only be called a sacrilege. The truth is that all same-sex marriages are null in God's eyes, and an army of willing ministers, judges and justices cannot make one same-sex marriage legitimate. There is simply no way to skirt around the obvious error of same-sex marriage. To wit:

"But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and cleave to his wife; And they twain shall be one flesh: so then they are no more twain, but one flesh." (Mk 10: 6-8)

3. The third new addition to homosexual sin is the propagation of or the active pursuit of the gay agenda. By pushing the gay agenda in the courts, schools and the media the entire gay movement is unwittingly pushing entire nations closer to judgment. When children are considered good targets for the gay agenda, it is safe to say that they are pushing the envelope to its extreme limits. To wit:

"But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea. Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must needs be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence cometh!" (Mt 18: 6-7)

The West Mindlessly Follows the Pied Piper

The West is taking the plunge into all things prurient and perverted and now Australia is jumping in with America and the EU to give the greenlight to same-sex marriages and all things perverted. It is a cultural plunge into remedial judgments that will be followed by an ultimate judgment. It is an immutable outcome to the last day's pathology or penchant for evil. It is where strong delusion ends.

Even while it seems hopeless to change the cultural trend is not fully acceptable the world over. There are yet 74 countries as of 2016 that do not accept homosexuality. For example the punishment for homosexuality in Tanzania is life imprisonment. In another 10 countries homosexual activity may be punished by death.

But seeking a sweeping rule that seems like its cut in stone doesn't always appeal. Only days ago Bermuda rescinded it laws on same-sex marriage in less than one year after it had become law. While everyone is seeking rights this little island country decided to exercise their right to say no.

Both Christians and good people who have not bought the gay agenda lock stock and barrel will continue to resist the promulgation of perversion. One recent example comes from Italy.

Well-seasoned and fully educated in psychotherapy, medicine and surgery, Dr. Silvana De Mari wrote a thesis declaring that homosexuality is an abnormality. For this she was prosecuted by a Torino based gay pride group, but was exonerated by the public prosecutor because she did not name any gays specifically.

Today, it seems that liberal thinking is the new – lazy thinking. Very few are willing to do their homework on the ever spiraling new cultural norms that hit the public almost every week. Few take the time to notice that the idea of gays coming out of the closet is rarely heard anymore; now it's about those who disagree being stuffed in the closet, locking the doors and throwing away the key like Christian cake bakers and others.

Are the latest new pop-trendy human lusts actually human or civil rights?

It seems that if we use words and phrases like, civil rights, equal rights and human rights, that any resistance to bad behaviors, no matter how dangerous or perverted will be summarily squashed right out of the gate.

Ryan Bomberger of the Radiance Foundation recently published a hard hitting piece titled "Sorry, ACLU. Gay Is Not the New Black" – Bomberger lays bare the ridiculous attempt to equate the gay rights movement with the black civil rights movement.

Bomberger says, "Never having faced the actual dehumanizing, violent and often fatal discrimination that African-Americans endured throughout our nation's history, LGBT activists continually co-opt experiences that are not theirs. LGBT individuals were never enslaved. They were never denied citizenship. They were never attacked and lynched by the KKK. They never had to ride in the back of the bus, or sit in the balcony of a movie theater, or be denied a seat at a lunch counter. They were never denied the right to vote, forced to pay poll taxes or take literacy tests."

In fact, gays were never denied any civil rights and their idea of equal rights is an attempt to use the law to obtain "special rights."

When it comes to human rights the entire gay narrative falls apart.

The very idea of perversion being a "human right" is in itself the definition of perversion.

It can be said that everyone may have the right to be a little weird, but no one has the right to expect the whole world to follow suit.

It would seem that in the hot pursuit of civil and human rights for gays and transgenders the entire world has forgotten that others have rights as well.

Many lawmakers and activist have consistently drawn attention to this fact by challenging the profusion of reckless attempts to corner Christians, business people and any who won't buy the gay agenda.

Matt Barber former Liberty Law School dean and owner of the Barbwire website has begun a new organization to help those who are being bombarded by the left and gay organizations that are growing belligerent and intolerant.

The New organization is called "Christian Civil Rights Watch" and the website, truecivilrights.org explains the means by which those being harassed and beleaguered by leftist extremist and predatory gay groups can defend themselves.

As to the question of whether – Homosexuality, Transgenderism and Same-Sex Marriage: Are Civil Rights? It is within reason to say, no one has the right to use rights to batter and bully others into submission.
