The Bible says: not global warming, but universal cold that brings the planet to its knees
By Michael Bresciani
Who would have thought that Christ addressed the controversial subject of 'global warming' slightly over 2000 years ago? In fact, he was silent on the subject, but was vociferous about the cold that would bring the world into a last day's calamity of universal proportions.
It isn't the heat on the planet, but the cold that is in men's hearts that brings us down in a ball of confusion that leads to a final judgement. If its love that makes the 'world go round' then it will be the lack of love that messes with its spin – not global warming.
"Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold" (Mt 24: 12 NIV)
Leaning toward lawlessness starting with the President and downward is all pointing to a day when the final world ruler (antichrist) will led the world in the last few years of history as we now know it.
When black men with clubs and batons at a voting booth were given a pass and the Mayor of Baltimore decides to apologize to dangerous gang members for calling them thugs it has already begun. Criminal illegal immigrants are allowed to stay in the country and some of them kill citizens with near impunity, it is as if we are all in the big house where criminals may get out of hand at any moment and begin to riot and murder. Too late, that has already happened too many times already.
Sodomy and same sex "marriages" are not social issues they are excursions into reprobation
It is not whether you think you are reprobate, but it is all else you think that determines if you are reprobate. – Anon
Although it is less subtle today, than when I first wrote a piece entitled "Lawless Government – The Great Non-Sequitur of the Last Days" I addressed today's decline in terms that few would argue with anymore.
"The idea of a lawless government seems like a non sequitur, but through the eyes of Biblical prophecy it is not. Indeed, it is a promise of scripture and a description of a time when government will be at a peak, but the laws governing personal moral behavior will have reached all new lows beyond anything in past history."
Whether, its sodomy for the homosexuals or murder for the jihadists, it is a collective perversion by any other name and it is all an excursion into last day's reprobation that will bring our world to the lawless one – to worship him. He is the devil in the flesh and it will be the unbridled release of all sexual promiscuity, fleshly pursuits and perversion that will bring them to his feet.
Perversion has hidden itself under the banner of social issues, just as jihad murder and the slaughter of innocent people are hiding under a flimsy and tattered cloak of religion.
Approaching these so called "issues" will bring argument, controversy and endless debate. When identified for what they really are it will bring disdain and full blown hatred for those who call it what it is.
It may seem like little comfort, but long ago Christ addressed this trend of the last days when he proclaimed that if they hated us for saying it, we were to take comfort in the fact that they hated him first.
"If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you." (Jn 15: 18)
Super powers, "great religions" and the term "most powerful man in the world" are not just semantics – they are exaggerations.
We love to proclaim that our president is the most powerful man in the world and that America is still the most powerful nation on earth. Then we run into another view which comes to us from the one who created this world and revealed to us by his certified and proven servant, the prophet Isaiah. To wit:
"Behold, the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance: behold, he taketh up the isles as a very little thing." (Isa 40: 15)
If all nations are a drop in the bucket in the eyes of the Lord which one would he call a "super power?"
In 75 A.D. Jude, wrote in his epistle concerning those who hated right government and other dignities.
"Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities." (Jude 1: 7-8)
In the U.S. we love to say that it is the office of the president that we are respecting, even if it is not the president. This twisted little axiom defies logic and the better wisdom of a three year old child.
The shortest route to lend dignity to the office of a president is to elect a dignified president. A man of integrity, strong moral character and a clear sense of service to the nation is what gives the office its dignity – it is a perversion to think it is the other way around.
This world will end before all the people who think sodomy is normal and leading by kissing up to evil nations is governance, are gone from the earth.
Reprobates may have their day, but they cannot hinder or stop the hasting to the last day when Christ will judge the nations.
"Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead." (Acts 17: 31)
Don't worry, not one time is global warming ever mentioned as the cause of Christ's inevitable judgment of our world. The lack of love, humanity and morality are named so often that I would have to fill an article with half of the bible.
After quoting Christ's words from a modern version of the bible we should look again at the rendering from the familiar old English version. Its meaning is as clear as a bell.
"And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold." (Mt 24: 12)
