No more night - God's answer to the two greatest lies of our time

The portrait of our best science and knowledge is not just askew when compared to the prophetic narrative of the Living God – it is a total fraud.

Any attempt to add God's promises and declaration to man's science, philosophy, or elevated reasoning results in a negative, not a gain. It is a case of two and two, always arriving at a product of two.

It seems there is a contest between the prophetic and science, but in fact there is no contest – the prophetic trumps all man can produce from the realm of empiricism, feigned or real. It is what will happen – it is our future.

Corruption has spoiled politics, education, social life, entertainment and every aspect of our national life and indeed it is a worldwide phenomenon. Part of that failing is best revealed in the fact that we think that such corruption stops short at the door of science. Sacrosanct science seems lofty and far above criticism. Now scientists make sweeping statements about things they know nothing about. No one questions.

Science is not sacrosanct and it is not above fraud

Author Jerry Bergman deals with the ever emerging predilection of science to defraud the public in a scathing article entitled "Why the epidemic of fraud exists in science today" published by creation.com.

Bergman says, "Actually, fraud as a whole is now 'a serious, deeply rooted problem' that affects no small number of contemporary scientific research studies, especially in the field of evolution. Scientists have recently been forced by several events to recognize this problem and try to deal with it."

Pointing to the fact that fraud has been uncovered even in the studies of major universities and labs throughout the country, Bergman gives countless examples in his article. Most fraud is found in the life-sciences and as many as 127 cases of fakery have been found in the area of biomedical sciences.

In this nation, it seems that fake political movements and faux science have married to produce a combination of a politician (Gore) and scientists who are still at this moment trying to sell the gloom and doom of the death of the planet through global warming. Interestingly, the politician in this case recently unloaded a TV station that has a solid reputation for fostering lies.

One giant leap for human pride

Man's rebellion against God knows many forms; to cover them all in one place is an impossibility. We can see a very good panorama of it in just one example. The combined space programs of the world's governments sucks up billions of dollars each year, the purpose of this – to find the source of life. Tonight millions of children around the globe will go to bed hungry, some on the verge of death through starvation. To them the source of life is a simple piece of bread.

Has science so mesmerized us that we have abandoned compassion? We have exclaimed that the moon rocks housed in the Johnson Space Center are priceless. How much are our starving children worth? Apparently when we're worshipping science it is perfectly OK to let nothing, even children, come between us and the altar of sacrifice for the nascent god of empiricism.

Anything can come between men and their Creator even religion. Christ rebuked the religious leaders of his day because they thought their new found adherence to becoming priests and Pharisees excluded them from the care and honoring of their own parents. (Mark 7: 8-12) Science has taken the place of God for this generation and it is indeed, a very poor substitute.

If the ultimate cost of faulty science were not so high its conclusions might be something to laugh about, but man's future is no laughing matter.

Leviathan's 'Princess Time' and the frog – a Darwinian fairy tale

Darwinism, the religion of moderns, is fraught with obvious foundational inconsistencies and extravagant claims that normal empirical methods are failing to correct. Evolutionists still depend on their fairy princess of 'time' to explain everything it espouses. Time is the best friend evolutionists have. Yet, at the same time the prophetic record and those who proclaim it, are declaring that time is not man's best friend – rather, it is his worst enemy.

They are willing to gloss over conflicting dating methods, lack of observable clinical proof and billions of missing transitional links for all species. Their princess, (time) has kissed the ancient frog and after untold billions of years it has surely produced a prince. Now it is known why the apostle Paul uttered these words, which have more meaning today than when they were first recorded. "Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." (2Tim 3: 7)

Their success is limited to the realm of indoctrination, not in the area of true empirical evidence. Undaunted they ride on the wind of pop-culture acceptance of their pipe dream and a generation is lost. The great distracted generation hardly has time to thoroughly examine the details of Darwinism – there's a life to live, a degree to get and a world of things to do and a full career that must not be interrupted.

The other 'Grand Lie' – Now the circle is complete

The other, the second greatest lie of modernity, is found as the full complement to Darwinism.

Together the two great lies of this generation have to do with origins and destination. Darwinism has declared were we come from and the idea of interstellar space travel is declaring exactly where we are going.

Man's pomposity is perhaps the only thing more vast than the unending expanse we call the universe. After a trip to the moon, a distance some frequent flyers will make in their lifetimes, we have raised the flag of victory over an area so enormous that no one can hope to measure it by conventional means.

The two great questions of, where we come from and where are we going, are now complete according to the enlightened of this generation. Superstitious religion and the biblical record must be given the boot so the "children of pride" (Job 41: 34) can faithfully follow Leviathan and Princess Time to their glorious destiny.

With pertinent details missing in the narrative of both lies it is certain that no one will be warned that it may take far more faith to hold to the empirical explanation of things than the revealed word of the living God.

Compacted into only three years, the public ministry of Christ was recorded by twelve witnesses and seen by an entire nation and its yearly international visitors. It was complete with signs and wonders and capped by a resurrection from the dead.

Compared to reams of non-existent proof, empirical failure to clinically prove anything and billions of years of un-witnessed history the term 'blind faith' seems to fit the Darwinists rather than the bible believers

If only it had ended there, but alas, it does not. The promise of Christ is that he will return to remove the rule of earth from the hands of men. In the process the theory of evolution will not need to be countered; it will instantly be seen for what it is, the biggest fairy tale ever told under the ruse of man's best wisdom.

More succinctly the theory of 'everything from nothing' will in an instant be seen for the fraud and utter nonsense it actually is and there will be no one standing before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords exclaiming, 'you didn't build this.'

The prophetic says, not one person will be lost to global warming

Man's immorality, a general lawlessness, and the rise of the world's last and worst leader (antichrist) is what is heating up according to prophecy, not the planet. It is a message contained in about one quarter of the bible. It like the hundreds of prophecies about the first coming of Christ, which are now fulfilled, will become part of history. The prophecies are all given by the same Spirit that moved upon the prophets of old. In the simplest terms, they are as sure as the rising of the sun.

The coming days are called the 'night in which no man can work.' (Jn 9: 4) It will not be global warming that makes the days so tumultuous, but a dark spirit of total rebellion against God. It has already long begun, and now only a very few aspects of the prophetic warning have not been fulfilled. We are not able to promise decades, but perhaps just a few short years before all is consummated.

The fulfillment of all second coming prophecy means a severe worldwide judgment will fall to man. There will not be a nation, city or island of the sea that will escape. While all this sounds like gloom and doom the story does not end there.

God's promises are also prophetic!

There are well over seven hundred promises made to man in the Bible, but the promise of what follows the return of Christ are in a special category. They are accompanied with a full description of events and places.

The earth comes to rest under the rule of Christ; the place of his rule is clearly Jerusalem. The length and nature of his earthly rule are clearly defined and described. Yet, we have to say, once again, that's not the end of the story!

At the full end of Christ's rule on earth eternity begins, but the location changes. The earth will be removed for an actual replacement planet that will for all intents be hundreds if not thousands of times larger than earth and will have several distinct centers of population and one major city.

That city will be fifteen hundred miles to its peak. It is a pyramid that is also 1500 miles wide and deep with a wall (216ft. high,) twelve gates that are never shut and the most amazing of all is the fact that no sun, moon or stars will be seen again. (Rev 21: 23)

What will be seen is the full presence of God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) lighting the entire planet with the uncreated light of his presence. It is called the New Jerusalem and it is the city of eternal day.

God makes dozens of promises about this final resting place of man, but just as we cannot compress everything about second coming events in one article, explaining how that city works is also far too much for one single description.

Sifting through the promises given by God about man's future produces a complete panorama of what life is going to be, but perhaps the two most outstanding promises he has, or will ever make, is first, that there will be no more night.

"And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever." (Rev 22: 5)

The second is that there will be no more pain.

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." (Rev 21: 4)

In my lifelong study of second coming doctrine I have heard both the worst and the best teachers and eschatologist. Not one of them has spoken more powerfully and succinctly as one single musician. In a song written by Walt Harrah, the famed tenor from the Gaither Gatherings, David Phelps sings of these two promises in a way that bypasses the mental wrangling of the mind and the intellect and goes straight to the heart. After all there is no salvation for anyone without the heart, to wit:

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Ro 10: 9-10)
The timeless theme, Earth and Heaven will pass away
It's not a dream; God will make all things new that day
Gone is the curse from which I stumbled and fell
Evil is banished to eternal hell

No more night, no more pain
No more tears, never crying again
And praises to the great "I AM"
We will live in the light of the risen Lamb
