A time for lies

Who has not heard the expression that if given enough time the truth will eventually come out? In fact in the Biblical record, the opposite is spoken of in precise and clear terms. According to the prophetic message of the scriptures there is a day when falsehood comes fully out of hiding and has its own special time.

As if in hibernation the craft and art of lying will emerge out of its lair in the last days and will be pervasive and fully acceptable across the globe. The odd fact that it is God himself that brings that time around and can only be understood when it is seen that the last generation does not want to be bothered by truth, especially God's truth so they hastily go about to relieve themselves of any connection to God.

The ways and means of falsehood

When that effort is fully underway many will proceed to remove all allusion to God. Simple slogans, public crosses, leading biblical or Christian phrases in documents and symbols of government in all branches will openly and actively be attacked and removed if possible. Only one question remains: why?

The Apostle Paul explains that at the time of the revealing of the world's last dictator (Antichrist) that the very attitude and spirit of the day will incline so far into falsehood and immorality that God himself allows a strong spirit or veil of deception to be pulled over the eyes (conscience) of those who are opting in to the lies of the day. This is what is known as a state of reprobation. In what is perhaps one of the saddest proclamations in the entirety of scripture Paul describes God's intervention into man's worldwide waltz into the shadows. To wit:

"And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:" (2Th 2: 8–11)

An abundance of examples

With plenty of production money, eager audiences with imaginations primed by a penchant for sex, violence and perversion Hollywood's best minds feed both the stable and the dangerously unstable of our society with their poison pabulum. Movies about vampires were followed with cases of people drawing and drinking blood and some lost their lives in the action. Today's rash of zombie movies has produced three new cases of real zombie incidents across the nation, the most notable being the homeless Florida man whose face was eaten off by his attacker and is now fighting for his life and in need of a $200,000 surgery help him to recover. This is reprobation.

No societal boundaries

Reprobation knows no societal boundaries. The pro-life organization called 'Live Action' went public with the results of their latest investigation of Planned Parenthood and revealed that they were offering abortions based on gender. Video of that event was first seen on the Daily Caller and swept the nation in a viral action in a matter of hours. This example of reprobation doesn't end with Planned Parenthood, but it can be traced upwards to the very levels of congress where protection from such behaviors should be dealt with and headed off, but don't hold your breath.

The needed two-thirds majority vote to stop gender abortions failed in the house and the vote on Thursday May 31 was 246-168 with some republicans voting against it. With thirty votes short of passage another bill that we might think would pass through the house at the speed of life has left yet another group of Americans without their basic right to life — unborn female children. This is reprobation.

When saving lives means changing leaders

President Obama is the most pro-choice president in American history, but the number of people now willing to see the end of abortion has never been higher. We the people have had a four year long battle with president and congress about the direction the country should be going. It is abundantly clear that reprobation has been dictating who the winner will be in this battle. There is still time.

If Obama is the tone setter then we can only hope that after November the nation decides to put another song maker in the White House before anyone else is denied their very right to life. To leave the leadership of this nation exactly as it is, will itself; qualify as an act of reprobation.
