It is not up to any President - - It is entirely up to us
By Michael Bresciani
Realism ignores the blather of both the pessimist and the optimist. The realist does not ask if the glass is half full or half empty. When an eight ounce glass is half gone the realist says there is four ounces of fluid in the glass. It is a statement of fact not a positive or a negative statement.
The America we live in today is almost depleted of all morality and is about to be emptied out in judgment and shame. This also is neither positive nor negative – this is a fact.
Any prophet, preacher, evangelist or Bible read layman who is willing to tell the truth has been proclaiming that America is on a slippery slope and is now approaching the bottom of that slope.
In easy to understand language – our glass is down to the last ounce!
This is our condition.
This writer is among the many Americans that think anyone at all from the long list of GOP candidates would be better than Obama, but I am not naïve.
Trump is a choice that only gives credence to the idea that choosing between the lesser of two evils is no choice at all.
The nation needs to repent, not just its leadership.
It is not likely that a candidate who cannot quote even one bible verse has any knowledge about the principle of repentance.
But it is not Trump I am at odds with – it is his message.
The one who allowed Trump to succeed (De 8: 18) is the same God who gave me my message which diametrically opposes Trump's vision for America.
Trump has deluded the public into thinking that his 'art of the deal' is all that's needed to put us back in the driver's seat and he alone can brush aside the 18 trillion in debt that is our albatross in a stagnant sea of economic death.
My message is this- we are headed for the worst economic downfall in the history of nations. Nothing is going to change that, least of all Donald Trump.
Before we get to it we will also see upheaval on every level in our nation.
The late David Wilkerson saw a time when every city in our nation will be in rioting and destruction. I believe we are soon to see the beginning of his prophetic message.
Putting Wilkerson's message alongside mine makes things look pretty dismal, but it is hard to apologize to a nation that has ignored all the warning signs, the messengers and the simple deductive reasoning it takes to see we are on a path of no return.
The prophets of God don't make anything happen, they only describe the inevitable. The choices are always ours to make and God holds the doors open until the last hours of time – our time.
We dare not ask why God needs to judge this nation, in fact, as the head of Lamb and Lion ministries, Dr. David Reagan, recently said, we are "A Nation Begging for Destruction."
We are not making the right choices basically because we are not asking the right questions.
The question isn't "Why would a loving God send people to hell?"
The question is "Why would anyone choose hell over a loving God?"
It sails way beyond simple coruscation of our nation's puerile preoccupation with everything political and economic – it goes directly to the idea that nations are brought to rise and fall at the will of God and nothing less. His choices, however, are always rooted in response to our choices.
"And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it; If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them." (Jer 18:9-10)

- Continuing to abort helpless babies at the rate of nearly 4,000 per day
- Allowing the high perversion of gay "marriage' under the "law"
- Removing all knowledge of God in the classrooms and public places in the nation
- Allowing and promoting a false and idolatrous religion (Islam)
- Obsession with all sexual deviancy and adultery
- Love of money and material things
- Obsession with power and celebrity
- Churches in apostasy, betraying the Lord who brought them previous success
- Drug use and promulgation under the law and a new tolerance for them
- Make a boisterous billionaire the frontrunner in the next election for president.
- Believe that if we can improve the economy and create more jobs we will be back on the fast track to greatness once again.
- Make the military the biggest and baddest in the world.
- Tell our enemies (and some of our friends) they are stupid.
