Will Congress awake before every Christian in America is arrested?
By Michael Bresciani
After the arrest of Kentucky Clerk Kim Davis the voices of those who see what is happening as a result of Obergefell V. Hodges are sending a cry and a call to action.
Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has started a website to support Clerk Davis at FreeKimDavisNow.com
The question is why are we waiting until the results of the last seven years of the belligerent gay activist to take root? It may take years to undo the radical and immoral twisting which is tearing at the fabric of our nation.
After something like the arrest of Davis, the internet is buzzing with all the names of well-known writers and experts. Complicated articles and deep comparisons from other rulings are used to make arguments that few will read, much less, understand.
It is not so complicated, it has a beginning and it certainly has an ending.
The liberals and brain dead of our nation have made trends, the trend, and it seems that America's children are not all they are willing to abort. Justice, truth and wisdom are all in danger of being subverted, killed and discarded as so much refuse.
Let me be clear, just as the life of our little ones is snuffed out in callous, Godless abortion mills – the life of our nation will drain like so much blood to the ground until what is left of our nation will only be shame and ultimately death.
We can make up new laws as fast as we like, but it is the old law of reciprocation that will not be ignored. It is a mechanism that cannot be stopped. To wit:
"Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap" (Ga 6: 7)
How did it all begin, are there any names we can cite?
We could pull names like former San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom who issued same sex marriage licenses against the law, all the way up to members of the now so called 'conservative congress.
The congressmen we rushed to the polls in 2014 to elect seem to be off on the potty, rather than standing up for principle on the floor of the house.
But let's not waste time or mince words, rather let's shoot right to the top in our search for names.
When the changeling Barack Obama decided quite on his own, apart from any acceptable or legitimate Biblical theology that the trusted passage in the first chapter Romans was "obscure" – the stage was set.
It was easy to transition from being the pseudo theologian-in-chief to the evolved gay marriage activist and supporter he became, all in less than two years. The millions of political lightweights and morally starved minions that blindly follow him, lined up for the Kool-Aid without so much as a murmur. DOMA was chopped to shreds, the onslaught of gay activists is what followed and succeeded all the way to SCOTUS – the rest is history. Or is it the end of history for the United States – many believe it is, of which I am one.
It is all too easy to castigate and cast aspersions on our quisling president, but it remains that when anyone, president or citizen, takes it upon themselves to question and subsequently to openly defy God's authority in the scripture they have become anti-Christ. That definition is not mine, but is also biblical.
Barack is a man cuddling up in a bed of flowers at the feet of Jesus as he preaches the beatitudes on the Sermon on the Mount.
He missed the important follow up to the Sermon on the Mount which clearly defines marriage as between one woman and one man. Much worse, he missed the delegation of Christ's authority which was clearly passed to his Apostles – including Paul who wrote the book of Romans. To wit:
"If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord." (1 Corinthians 14:37)
"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city." (Mt 6: 11)
It must be noted that in Christ's day all that was required was to "shake off the dust" – in today's moral climate we have to scrape off the dung.
Christ has promised that his Word will never pass into obscurity (Mt 24: 35) he has not promised that presidents will not pass into obscurity.
Where does it End? – Will it be Hell or Healing?
We are like teen-agers who think nothing bad can ever happen to us. We have not taken stock and we are living in a heightened state of foolish presumption. For the faithful this is known as "tempting God," (Mt 4: 7) this is flying in the face of clearly predictable consequences, it is the gamble of fools.
The cowering congress may be aloof to the entire Obama agenda, but it is not the congress that will pay up first – it is us.
We need legislation to protect our religious freedoms as soon as yesterday.
How many more cake bakers and Kim Davis's must be dragged into courts and jails? They may be willing to pay the price to stand up for what they believe, but the rest of us will not be willing to pay the price for doing nothing about it. To wit:
"When I say to a wicked person, 'You will surely die,' and you do not warn them or speak out to dissuade them from their evil ways in order to save their life, that wicked person will die for their sin, and I will hold you accountable for their blood." (Eze 3: 18 NIV)
Do we call the Prince of Darkness to our defence who is after all only a pawn in the full purpose of God, a powerless prince who will only standby and watch our suffering and judgment.
Have we gone from a presidential dismissal of the authority of God's laws, to making our own laws for evil and believing they will stand?
God asks this question.
"Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law?" (Psalm 94: 20)
Like it or not – we will be asked to answer this question.
You can be sure the answer is not just electing a billionaire, or yet, more passing the buck in the Congress and the Senate. Obama has done his worst – it is time for us to do our best.
