Obama: the climate change bogey-man is coming to get us all!

Ignoring reams of reports and empirical data that have debunked the climate change myth Obama has sternly warned Americans will have to pony up and foot the bill to help ward off the temperature threatening ravages of the new, leftist ever looming augury formerly known as global warming.

In his speech he declared that climate change is an empirical fact with 97 percent of all scientists in full concurrence. Whoppers not withstanding; that is simply not true. Thousands of scientists have either refuted the fake computer models or expressed serious doubt about the empirical honesty of the models and the conclusions derived from them.

Then along comes the meteorologists, not quite so biased as the politicians, who have reported almost 5,000 record breaking low temperature records – broken this year alone. At the writing of this article news sources are reporting that ships cannot break through the entirely frozen waters of Lake Michigan.

In the Illinois Review journalist Nancy Thorner says that after the crisis of healthcare and immigration the biggest crisis in the mind of this President is global warming.

Thorner said, "Enter crisis #3: President Obama in his weekly address on Saturday, June 29, urged voters to commit to action on climate change through their legislators to reduce carbon pollution and protect our country from the effects of climate change, even though the series of actions planned by Obama don't require congressional approval."

What a surprise. Here's another worldwide crisis that can be settled with the stroke of Mr. Obama's pen and a few phone calls.

If this all seems as silly to you as it does to this writer and millions of Americans who know that the worst thing they have to face because of the president is not a half degree spike in today's temperature, (unfortunately it is a downward spike) you are probably scratching your head and wondering – hasn't he got anything better to do!

Calling for draconian measures and tapping the already over extended U.S. budget, Mr Obama would have us believe, against the facts – that the call to save the world from itself, is in no way politically motivated.

The Distractor in Chief would have us all fleeing in panic from a one degree rise in temperature while we ignore what is really rising as a direct result of his administration. Let's see what is rising in real time, right now, for millions of Americans.
  • The cost of healthcare premiums

  • Heated battles to retain constitutionally guaranteed religious freedoms

  • Regulations and restrictions that hinder businesses and free enterprise

  • The death toll of perfectly healthy un-born human beings

  • The rise in prurient and perverted pursuits and the LGBT agenda

  • The skyrocketing national debt

  • Scandals and mis-use of power – too many to enumerate, complete with dead bodies left behind

  • Disgust with a presidency that seems more like the attempt of a third rate politician – activist to set up his own monarchy.
It is understandable that some might ask; why is the editor of a prophecy news website writing about the dreaded bogey-man known as 'climate change?'

The Bible has a lot to say about climate change. Not only does it say that God can give rain to one area and withhold it from another but it predicts that as we enter the period before the return of the Lord Jesus Christ – all regular weather patterns will be interrupted.

The entire twenty fourth chapter of Matthew's gospel indicates that earthquakes and other calamities due to climate changes will rise to the level of cataclysmic and will be a concern to everyone in our world.

Examples of the intensity of weather patterns and disturbances abound, but how about this, as only one example.

Prior to the return of the Jews to their homeland starting in 1948, the average rainfall in Israel was about three inches per year. Since they began migrating back to the land God always promised to them, the average rainfall has risen permanently to about 25 inches per year. Need I say more?

We don't expect Huff-Po journalists, status-quo scientists or the president to acknowledge the authority God exercises over the weather patterns of our world, but we trust in the pre-written history of pre-millennial prophecy to guide and explain these things to us.

It is with great certainty that we can say that, bible prophecy indicates the end of the world as we know it today, will have nothing at all to do with global warming or as it is now called, climate change.

No, we do not feel slighted, stupid or tangential about that, rather, we are mostly amazed at the deep and pervasive stupidity of a generation that can't tell the difference between a real problem and a politically motivated presidential ploy to divert attention away from the most miserable administration in America's history.

As for climate change being a man-made terror that requires a worldwide effort to save the planet we are forced to re-issue the truth found in the quote often misattributed to Nazi Reich Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels.

"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." – Unknown

True believers don't take their cues even from presidents who tell the truth, but as the line from the beloved hymn 'Jesus Savior Pilot Me' indicates, we trust the one who holds the torrents, the gales and the oceans in the palm of his hand.

Climate change panic? – No thanks.

As a mother stills her child

Thou canst hush the ocean wild

Boisterous waves obey thy will

When thou sayest to them "be still"

Wondrous sovereign of the sea

Jesus Savior – pilot me

Edward Hopper – 1816-1888

This is the event that inspired the words in this hymn.

"And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?" (Mr 4: 37-41)
