Do you want a radical proponent of Saul Alinsky in the White House? No!

Hillary Clinton's campaign tactics and rules of ethics mirror Saul David Alinsky's "Rules for Radicals." Read Alinsky's book Rules for Radicals and decide for yourself. Also ask yourself whether Hillary Clinton's nefarious accomplishments qualify her for the office of the President of the United States.

Alinsky's Rules of Power Tactics for Radicals

A casual comparison of Saul David Alinsky's power tactics for radicals confirms Hillary Clinton's campaign tactics track with Alinsky's power tactics for radicals. Decide for yourself:

Alinsky's first rule of power tactics: "Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have." Power has always derived from two main sources, money and people. Lacking money, the Have-Nots must build power from their own flesh and blood. A mass movement expresses itself with mass tactics. Against the finesse and sophistication of the status quo, the Have-Nots have always had to club their way in. [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, pages 126-127]

Hillary Clinton's main source of money is very affluent supporters and the pay to play Clinton Foundation donors. Hillary's other sources of money include the have not hierarchy (primarily low-income blacks, Mexican-Americans, Puerto Ricans, and Appalachian poor whites), and white middle-class activists like herself.

Alinsky's second rule of power tactics: "Never go outside the experience of your people." When an action or tactic is outside the experience of the people, the result is confusion, fear, and retreat. It also means a collapse of communication... [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 130]

This is why Hillary Clinton pivots and does not focus on the "real" issues. Hillary Clinton is avoiding things which are outside the experience of her people. Hillary Clinton is avoiding things which her people have little or no knowledge about: The morality of abortion, homosexuality, euthanasia, etc.; cyber security and use of a private email server to conduct official government business; security clearance criteria and requirements; no man left behind at Benghazi; open borders; pay to play, conspiracy to subvert the Roman Catholic Church, etc.

Alinsky's third rule of power tactics: "Wherever possible go outside of the experience of the enemy." Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat. [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 127]

Hillary Clinton is an expert at this. Hillary Clinton has consistently blind-sided Donald Trump with irrelevant arguments that Trump is then forced to address: The leaked "locker room" tape; disparaging remarks about a Hispanic judge, disparaging remarks about former Miss Universe Alicia Machado, walking in on Miss Teen USA contestants while they were changing outfits, etc.

Alinsky's fourth rule of power tactics: "Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules." You can kill them with this, for they can no more obey their own rules than the Christian church can live up to Christianity. [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 128]

Hillary Clinton has besieged Donald Trump's very credibility and reputation. Hillary has focused on Trump's tax return and Trump's morality. If Hillary or her activists catch Trump lying, or not living up to its commitments, they can and will continue to chip away at Trump.

Alinsky's fifth rule of power tactics: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage. [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 128]

Hillary Clinton routinely ridicules Donald Trump about his tax return, morality, etc. This infuriates Trump who then reacts to Hillary's advantage.

Alinsky's sixth rule of power tactics: "A good tactic is one that your people enjoy." If your people are not having a ball doing it, there is something very wrong with the tactic. [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 128]

Ridiculing Donald Trump is a good tactic. Hillary's people – and the liberal media – enjoy ridiculing Trump about his tax return, morality, etc. They keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. The ridicule infuriates Trump – who then reacts to Hillary Clinton's advantage.

Alinsky's seventh rule of power tactics: "A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag." Man can sustain militant interest in any issue for only a limited time, after which it becomes a ritualistic commitment, like going to church on Sunday mornings. New issues and crises are always developing, and one's reaction becomes, "Well, my heart bleeds for those people and I'm all for the boycott, but after all there are other important things in life" – and there it goes. [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 128]

Alinsky's eighth rule of power tactics: "Keep the pressure on," with different tactics and actions, and utilize all events of the period for your purpose. [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 34]

Hillary Clinton stays in attack mode: Attack, attack, attack from all sides – never giving the reeling Trump organization a chance to rest, regroup, recover and re-strategize.

Alinsky's ninth rule of power tactics: "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 129]

The threat of more and more allegations about Donald Trump's sexual promiscuity creates an organizational mindset that expects the direst of conclusions. The expectation of more allegations only serves to demoralize Trump's supporters.

Alinsky's tenth rule of power tactics: "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition." It is this unceasing pressure that results in the reactions from the opposition that are essential for the success of the campaign. It should be remembered not only that the action is in the reaction but that action is itself the consequence of reaction and of reaction to the reaction, ad infinitum. The pressure produces the reaction, and constant pressure sustains action." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, pages 129]

Hillary Clinton's major tactical premise is maintain constant pressure on Donald Trump's ego – it is that simple.

Alinsky's eleventh rule of power tactics: "If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside;" this is based on the principle that every positive has its negative. We have already seen the conversion of the negative into the positive, in Mahatma Gandhi's development of the tactic of passive resistance. [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 129]

Hillary Clinton has pushed hard enough and deep enough to break into Donald Trump's counterside – egotistical public ranting and raving not associated with a national or international leader. Hillary has pushed hard and deep enough to surface Trump's Achilles heel. Hillary has pushed hard and deep enough to cause Trump to fall on his own sword.

Alinsky's twelfth rule of power tactics: "The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative." You cannot risk being trapped by the enemy in his sudden agreement with your demand and saying "You're right – we don't know what to do about this issue. Now you tell us." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 130]

This is probably the least of Hillary Clinton's concerns. Donald Trump's ego precludes him from agreeing with Hillary on anything but the peripheral and softer issues. That being said, rest assured that Hillary has a constructive alternative hidden away somewhere.

Alinsky's thirteenth rule of power tactics: "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 130] The other important point in the choosing of a target is that it must be a personification, not something general and abstract such as a community's segregated practices or a major corporation or City Hall. It is not possible to develop the necessary hostility against, say, City Hall, which after all is a concrete, physical, inanimate structure, or against a corporation, which has no soul or identity, or a public school administration, which again is an inanimate system. [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 133]

Early on Hillary Clinton picked her target: Donald Trump. Hillary personified her target: Trump. Hillary has not only picked her target, she has frozen it, personalized it, and polarized it. Trump is larger than life target. Trump is a far more vulnerable target than anyone he ran against in the republican primaries. More importantly, Trump is far more vulnerable than his running mate – Mike Pence who will survive to run again...

Hillary Clinton is diligently working to cut off Donald Trump's support network and isolate him from sympathy. You have to wonder what bombshell Hillary Clinton has waiting for Donald Trump in the waning days of the presidential campaign. Hillary Clinton's direct, personalized criticism, and ridicule of Donald Trump is working very effectively – just like Saul David Alinsky said it would.

On October 28, 2016, 11 days before the presidential election, FBI Director James B. Comey surprised everyone when he supplemented his previous congressional testimony and essentially advised he was reopening the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton's personal email server. This infuriated Hillary Clinton and she shifted her target from Donald Trump to FBI Director James B. Comey.

It remains to be seen whether FBI Director Comey will take the Alinsky bait ...

More importantly, you also have to wonder whether FBI Director Comey can find an unbiased U. S. Attorney that will present the FBI's case to an unbiased grand jury. The underlying issue is unbiased venue.

Alinsky's Ethics of Means and Ends

Does Hillary Clinton have any redeeming ethics? How closely do Hillary Clinton's ethics track with Alinsky's ethics of means and ends for radicals? Decide for yourself:

Alinsky's first rule of ethics: "One's concern with the ethics of means and ends varies inversely with one's personal interest in the issue; one's concern with the ethics of means and ends varies inversely with one's distance from the scene of conflict." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 26]

Alinsky's second rule of ethics: "The judgment of the ethics of means is dependent upon the political position of those sitting in judgment." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 26]

Alinsky's third rule of ethics: "In war the end justifies almost any means." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 29]

Alinsky's fourth rule of ethics: "Judgment must be made in the context of the times in which the action occurred and not from any other chronological vantage point." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 30]

Alinsky's fifth rule of ethics: "Concern with ethics increases with the number of means available and vice versa." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 32]

Alinsky's sixth rule of ethics: "The less important the end to be desired, the more one can afford to engage in ethical evaluations of means." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 34]

Alinsky's seventh rule of ethics: "Generally success or failure is a mighty determinant of ethics." The judgment of history leans heavily on the outcome of success or failure; it spells the difference between the traitor and the patriotic hero. There can be no such thing as a successful traitor, for if one succeeds he becomes a founding father." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 34]

Alinsky's eighth rule of ethics: "The morality of a means depends upon whether the means is being employed at a time of imminent defeat or imminent victory." The same means employed with victory seemingly assured may be defined as immoral, whereas if it had been used in desperate circumstances to avert defeat, the question of morality would never arise. In short, ethics are determined by whether one is losing or winning. From the beginning of time killing has always been regarded as justifiable if committed in self-defense. [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 34]

Alinsky's ninth rule of ethics: "Any effective means is automatically judged by the opposition as being unethical." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 35]

Alinsky's tenth rule of ethics: "You do what you can with what you have and clothe it with moral garments." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 36]

Alinsky's eleventh rule of ethics: "Goals must be phrased in general terms like "Liberty, Equality, Fraternity," "Of the Common Welfare," "Pursuit of Happiness," or "Bread and Peace." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 45]

Before proceeding, go back and reread Alinsky's seventh rule of ethics: "There can be no such thing as a successful traitor, for if one succeeds he becomes a founding father." [Essentially Verbatim: Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 34]

Perspective Derived From Poignant Quotes

There are several poignant quotes that put in perspective Hillary Clinton's use of Alinsky's tactics and ethics:
"Lest we forget at least an over-the shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins – or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom – Lucifer. – Saul Alinsky" [Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, unnumbered page that precedes unnumbered "contents" page]

"What follows is for those who want to change the world from what it is to what they believe it should be. The Prince was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. Rules for Radicals is written for the Have-Nots on how to take it away." [Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, page 3, opening paragraph of book]

"As an organizer I start from where the world is, as it is, not as I would like it to be. That we accept the world as it is does not in any sense weaken our desire to change it into what we believe it should be – it is necessary to begin where the world is if we are going to change it to what we think it should be. That means working in[side] the system." [Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, Prologue, page xix.]

"The job of the organizer is to maneuver and bait the establishment so that it will publicly attack him [organizer] as a "dangerous enemy." The word "enemy" is sufficient to put the organizer on the side of the people, to identify him [organizer] with the Have-Nots, but it is not enough to endow him [organizer] with the special qualities that induce fear and thus give him [organizer] the means to establish his own [organizer] power against the establishment. Here again we find that it is power and fear that are essential to the development of faith. This need is met by the establishment's use of the brand "dangerous," for in that one word the establishment reveals its fear of the organizer, its fear that he represents a threat to its omnipotence. Now the organizer has his "birth certificate" and can begin. [Saul Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, Alinsky, page 100]

"Radical organizer Saul Alinsky, an early mentor of Senator Hillary Clinton and of many Shadow Party operatives, identified for his disciples the path to power in American politics. Alinsky observed that radicals could achieve revolutionary change without majority support if they understood and exploited the rules of the game. This was the subject of his book, Rules for Radicals. The requirements for a radical power grab were a small core of disciplined activists pushing their agendas and a citizenry sufficiently in the dark about its purposes. In these circumstances, a radical minority could impose its will even on a great democracy such as the United States." [Horowitz and Poe, The Shadow Party, page xiii.]

"Hillary's radicalism is deep-rooted and fundamental, bearing the clear imprint of her early mentor Saul Alinsky. Hillary met the Chicago radical through a leftwing church group to which she belonged in high school. They stayed in close touch until Alinsky's death. Hillary's 1969 senior thesis at Wellesley College was a 75-page salute to Alinsky. It contained excerpts of his forthcoming book, Rules for Radicals, which he had allowed Hillary to read before the book's publication in 1971. Upon her graduation, Alinsky offered Hillary a full-time organizer job with his Industrial Areas Foundation. She declined only because Yale Law School seemed to offer a superior path for infiltrating the Establishment. [Horowitz and Poe, The Shadow Party, page 56.]

Hillary's efforts to cultivate a "moderate" or "centrist" public image faithfully reflect Alinsky's teachings. In Rules for Radicals, Alinsky pronounces a harsh judgment on the Sixties New Left. Rather than winning over the masses, the New Left went out of its way to shock, horrify and alienate the masses, he charged. He condemned flag-burning, Maoist slogans and the disheveled hippie style. "If the real radical finds that having long hair sets up psychological barriers to communication and organization, he cuts his hair. . . .As an organizer, I start from where the world is, as it is, not as I would like it to be. . . . That means working in the system," Alinsky scolded. [Horowitz and Poe, The Shadow Party, page 56.]

Alinsky envisioned a special role for white, middle-class activists such as Hillary, whom he saw as potential emissaries to the American heartland. "[E]ven if all the low-income parts of our population were organized – all the blacks, Mexican-Americans, Puerto Ricans, Appalachian poor whites – if through some genius of organization they were all united in a coalition, it would not be powerful enough to get significant, basic, needed changes, Alinsky warned. Only by winning support among the white majority could activists hope to achieve "basic" change in America. Alinsky called for a proliferation of "middle-class organizations" and "middle-class guerrillas." [Horowitz and Poe, The Shadow Party, pages 56-57.] "Organization for action will now and in the decade ahead center upon America's white middle class. That is where the power is. . . . Our rebels have contemptuously rejected the values and way of life of the middle class. . . . [I]t is useless self-indulgence for an activist to put his past behind him. Instead, he should realize the priceless value of his middleclass experience. His middle-class identity, his familiarity with the values and problems, are invaluable for organization of his "own people." [Alinsky, Rules for Radicals, pages 184-185]

Hillary Clinton's Nefarious List of Accomplishments

On October 13, 2016, Daniel Gallington, in The Washington Times, Daniel, The lie that is Hillary, enumerated the "notable accomplishments" of Hillary Clinton's "public service" career. On October 13, 2016, Daniel Gallington wrote that:
    • Hillary Clinton flunked the D.C. Bar Exam.

    • Hillary Clinton was removed from her House Judiciary Committee staffer job because of incompetence and lying.

    • Hillary Clinton was a party to the Whitewater scandal.

    • Hillary Clinton married a serial liar and cheater, who occasionally had sexual encounters with nonconsenting partners.

    • Hillary Clinton lied about "sniper fire" in an attempt to simulate exposure to danger in a war zone.

    • Hillary Clinton was the subject of a "vast right-wing conspiracy" that led to the impeachment and disbarment of her husband

    • Hillary Clinton took crockery, furniture, artwork and other items from the White House – had to return and/or pay for them.

    • Hillary Clinton said "what difference, at this point, does it make" about four brave people killed in Libya as a direct result of her failure to protect them.

    • Hillary Clinton totally ignored the structure and rules for the handling of sensitive national security information.

    • Hillary Clinton amassed a personal fortune with "speaking fees" and payments from private sector political donors and foreign governments into transparent "foundations" in obvious exchange for future political favor.

Do these nefarious accomplishments qualify Hillary Clinton for the office of the President of the United States?

Parting Thought

"The danger to America is not Barack Obama [or Hillary Clinton] but a citizenry capable of entrusting an inexperienced man [woman] like him [her] with the Presidency. 'It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama [Hillary Clinton] Presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their President. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama [or Hillary Clinton], who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama [or Hillary Clinton]. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their President." [Online Urban Legend; source cannot be verified]
