Houston, TX — Patriot PAC ten days ago announced Operation Black Storm, a national coalition effort to unite the nation behind the 15 black conservative congressional candidates running in key districts around the country as Republican nominees for the November 2nd elections.

To date, not a single national Congressional GOP "leader" has stepped forward to assist this effort or to support this slate of candidates!

These candidates are true leaders in the revolutionary charge among America's Tea Party and Patriot movement for substantive political reform. Operation Black Storm has joined their fight to fundamentally reshape the makeup of the U.S. Congress and the way our so-called political leaders address public and policy issues of race, dependency, and opportunity in America.

Marvin Scott (IN-7), Chuck Smith (VA-3), Bill Randall (NC-13), Tim Scott (SC-3), Charlotte Bergman (TN-9), Michael Faulkner (NY-15), Robert Broadus (MD-4), Charles Lollar (MD-5), Bill Marcy (MS-2), Stephen Broden (TX-9), Star Parker (CA-37), Ryan Frazier (CO-7), Allen West (FL-22), Isaac Hayes (IL-2), and Vince Danet (US Virgin Islands) are Operation Black Storm candidates, several of whom have received individual endorsements from GOP notables Sarah Palin and Newt Gingrich. Ambassador Alan Keyes, a Tea Party favorite and grassroots conservative activist, has been the one "big name" providing funding, public relations assistance and facilities and resources for coordinating the coalition efforts.

But to date, not a single official GOP "leader" of the Congress has endorsed this outstanding slate of official GOP Congressional nominees, duly elected from a historic primary season fielding some 37 black candidates running for federal office. Only Operation Black Storm has provided a program to promote these campaigns, and helped fill the conspicuous void of Republican Party funding and support for nearly all — and while some state GOP figures have endorsed, fundraised, and showed up for individual candidates, only Operation Black Storm is helping this sterling slate of Tea Party-propelled pro-life, pro-family Constitutionalist conservative candidates on a national level.

Meanwhile, the GOP establishment "leadership" drives by... GOP Chairman Michael Steele and the "Fire Pelosi Bus" was three minutes from Marvin Scott for Congress HQ in Indianapolis, IN but despite repeated invitations did not stop — snubbing a spirited conservative challenge being mounted in the home district of disgraced incumbent Andre Carson who falsely smeared Tea Partiers in Washington DC as racists by lying that they repeatedly shouted the "N" word at Congressional Black Caucus members.

The snubs are widespread. House Minority Leader John Boehner traveled through Memphis, TN, this Thursday to help a Republican running for Congress in Mississippi, literally driving right by the Charlotte Bergmann for Congress Headquarters. He, too, did not stop for so much as even a requested 15-minute press availability with a black Republican single mother of three who triumphed from homelessness to an earned MBA to run for Congress in the Deep South. At least 13 of the 15 Tea Party black Republican primary victors were not even given access to ttheir district "Voter Vault" registered GOP voter list — standard issue for most Republican candidates — without pitched battles from their campaigns! And in fact, would-be Majority Leader Boehner has not appeared with any black Republicans running for Congress in 2010!

Operation Black Storm is a coalition of Political Action Committees participating with endorsements and financial support which includes iCaucus, Patriot PAC, Frederick Douglass Foundation PAC, Declaration Alliance PAC, and more. For additional information, go to www.OperationBlackStorm.com.
