ALAN KEYES — [This exchange occurred in reply to my article "The true right to secede comes from God, not the Constitution."] THE COMMENT: "Righteous political will" is where the rub is. Pick your race, nationality, or political party -- the meaning of "righteous political will" can be as different as day and night... (more)

TIMOTHY P. CARNEY — Rep. Marcy Kaptur is the senior Democrat on the Appropriations Committee. But for the first time in history, the senior Democrat on Approps will not be the ranking member. That honor goes to Rep. Nita Lowey of New York, third in seniority. The reason? Abortion... (more)

ALAN KEYES — In an article I saw this week at WND, Pat Buchanan writes of the Declaration of Independence: "The declaration was signed by 56 angry old white guys who had had enough of what the Cousins were doing to them. In seceding from the mother country, these patriots put their lives, fortunes and honor on the line... (more)

ALAN KEYES — I just read a timely meditation on the "fiscal cliff" shenanigans currently going on in Washington. In an article aptly entitled "Cause to Rejoice or Mourn," a friend and true soul brother, Dave Jeffers, laments the fact that the Washington pols on both sides of the (phony) partisan divide are "wishy-washy squishy leaders" prone to posturing but devoid of true conviction. He accurately observes that this tempts people to mournful political passivity, especially given Obama's re-election... (more)
