WORLDNETDAILY — The Supreme Court is set to hear arguments Wednesday about a 94-year-old woman’s lawsuit against Hennepin County, Minnesota, which sold her home to cover a tax debt and kept over $20,000 in surplus cash beyond the tax debt that was owed. The case, Tyler v. MARGOT CLEVELAND — Did Biden-appointed U.S. attorneys in California and Washington, D.C., block the filing of criminal tax charges against Hunter Biden? Accusations levied by an IRS whistleblower on Wednesday suggest the federal prosecutors did just that, contradicting Attorney General Merrick Garland’s recent congressional testimony and raising an avalanche of questions concerning the independence of the Delaware U.S. attorney’s office overseeing the Hunter Biden investigation. JOSEPH FARAH — On the evening of Tuesday, April 25, we'll witness the miracle: Israel surviving three-quarters of a century of hostility. We've seen God's miraculous provision all along, beginning with the miracle of Israel's rebirth 75 years ago. We've seen God's love for His Chosen People even in a sea of hatefulness, with Israel surrounded by belligerent neighbor-nations. No opposition, no assault, no matter how intense, has destroyed the state of Israel. Against all odds, this tiny nation still stands as a beacon of freedom and righteousness, an ongoing testament to the power of God and the absolute truth of His latter-days promises!... (more)

April 19, 1775
PJ MEDIA — On April 19, 1775, a few shots fired in the Massachusetts towns of Lexington and Concord shook the foundations of the world and heralded the dawn of a new age. When a few brave minutemen — including at least one slave, Peter Salem — stood their ground on Lexington Green and Concord’s North Bridge and refused to let the British soldiers pass, it must have seemed to the prudent and the fearful like an act of insane futility. How were rag-tag groups of farmers and shopkeepers to defeat the most powerful and best-trained army in the world? And yet the American patriots drove the British back to Boston in shame. There was a long war ahead of the rebels, but they had proved that they were willing to die to defend their freedoms against the ever more tyrannical British Empire. History.com provides more details on these key Battles of Lexington and Concord.... (more)
