WESTERN JOURNAL — Former President Donald Trump touted the release of a trailer for conservative filmmaker Dinesh D'Souza's latest project, "2,000 Mules," saying the evidence it presents about alleged wrongdoing that occurred in the 2020 general election is "so damning." "Highly respected Dinesh D'Souza, working together with Catherine Engelbrecht of True the Vote, just released a trailer to their new movie, '2,000 Mules,' that shows the world exactly how the 2020 Presidential Election was Rigged and Stolen," Trump said in a Monday statement.... PATRICK GARRY — The media does not enjoy an exalted position in public opinion. Polls continue to show an eroding confidence in the American media. Without question, the media deserves much of the mistrust directed toward it. However, just as the media has become more divisive and biased in one respect, it has also acquired a certain positive trait. In one respect, the current media resembles the eighteenth-century press that reflected and energized American democracy.... (more)

JERRY NEWCOMBE — The Holocaust is a 77-year old story. Yet Whoopi Goldberg got in trouble last week for getting a major aspect of it wrong. On January 31's edition of "The View," Goldberg said that the Holocaust was not about race. The context was a discussion about the book, Maus, being banned by a Tennessee public school board because of nudity and profanity. Goldberg said: "I'm surprised that's what made you uncomfortable, the fact that there was some nudity. I mean, it's about the Holocaust, the killing of six million people, but that didn't bother you? If you're going to do this, then let's be truthful about it. Because the Holocaust isn't about race. No, it's not about race."... (more)

American people don't do well with 'Because I told you so'
WORLDNETDAILY — Amid new information on its inner workings, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is facing a credibility problem for its COVID-19 response, a leader of the House's GOP Doctors Caucus told The Daily Signal. Refusal to recast mild variant led to 'attacks' from politicians, scientists
ART MOORE — The South African scientist credited with discovering the milder omicron variant that is now dominant in Western nations says she was "pressured" by international agencies, politicians and scientists to declare the variant to be more dangerous that it actually is. Dr. Angelique Coetzee told the Daily Telegraph of Australia that after publicizing her conclusion that omicron was presenting with mild symptoms for most patients compared to the previous delta strain, she became the target of "attacks."... RENEWAMERICA STAFF — Two scholars with obvious leftist leanings argued in a Feb. 6 op-ed at The Hill that "Like it or not, the government needs greater power to fight pandemics." On the premise that the U.S. "is not organized to face the danger [of a global pandemic] because the Constitution does not prepare a complex globalized society to control pandemics," they said, "We need to rethink the constraints on national leadership." To wit: The un-American reign of authoritarians like Dr. Anthony Fauci needs to be more fully unleashed – not handicapped by quaint checks and balances – for the good of society, they implicitly urge. The best rebuttal to such an affront to America comes from the renowned C.S. Lewis, as presented in the outstanding video "That Hideous Strength: C.S. Lewis's Prophetic Warning against the Abuse of Science."... (more)

New Mexico's Sen. Luján out for weeks with stroke, brain surgery
PJ MEDIA — Last week, Sen. Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.) suffered a stroke and underwent brain surgery. He is currently hospitalized in Albuquerque. He is expected to return to the U.S. Senate in four to six weeks, assuming there are no further medical complications. However, during his absence, Democrats no longer have a majority in the Senate – Republicans have a 50-49 majority. This means that until Luján returns, a united GOP can block the Democrats' agenda and there's nothing the Democrats could do about it.... (more)

RUMBLE — There are certain doctors who are blowing the whistle on the ways our government has handled Covid-19. It seems that the only advice coming out of DC or otherwise is to get vaccinated. Any treatments or preventative measures are either ignored or outright discouraged. Everyone remembers the false notion that ivermectin is just a "horse dewormer" despite the fact that it has been used by humans since long before Covid-19 ever existed. One doctor who is spreading the truth is Dr. Peter McCullough. He has been censored and attacked for doing so. He has taken considerable losses for his adherence to the truth, but he persists.... ‘Virtually every piece of information that can be co-opted has been’ [Watch through 20:00]
EPOCH TV — On "American Thought Leaders," veteran journalist Sharyl Attkisson told Epoch TV interviewer Jan Jekielek that the current attempt by the U.S. media and government to control the public mind "is all part of a very well-funded, well-organized landscape that dictates and slants the information they want us to have." She said this relatively new phenomenon began around the time Barack Obama called for "someone to step in and curate information in this wild, wild West media landscape" back in 2016, and led to the labeling of Donald Trump's views as "fake news" – a term Trump successfully turned back on the liberal media....
