ALAN KEYES According to the report I read in the Washington Times, after speaking by phone with U.S. President Donald Trump, Mexican President Lopez Obrador tweeted, "In respectful and friendly terms, we spoke about the migration issue and the possibility of implementing a joint program of development and job creation in Central America and our country." If accurate, the new Mexican president's sense of their conversation may be a hopeful sign for both countries.... (more)

THE HILL White House senior adviser Stephen Miller on Sunday predicted that the Affordable Care Act will ultimately be struck down by the Supreme Court. "I believe that's the likeliest outcome, because ObamaCare has always been unconstitutional," Miller said on CBS's "Face the Nation." WASHINGTON TIMES A Revolutionary Guard general who fought in Syria and Iraq has accidentally killed himself while cleaning a gun. A Sunday report on the Guard's website said Gen. Ghodratollah Mansouri earlier today accidentally shot himself in the head while cleaning his pistol. The report said Mansouri was veteran of the 1980s Iran-Iraq war and a "defender of the shrine," a reference to Iranians who fight the extremist Islamic State group in Syria and Iraq.... (more)

Now he's shouting at the Democrats to give him a measly $5 billion from the hard-pressed American taxpayers. Just as Theresa May faced a no-confidence vote for failing to make a proper deal to remove Britain from the European Union, many conservatives here are becoming increasingly skeptical of President Trump's claim that "people would revolt" if the Democrats impeach him.
