CLIFF KINCAID — As he was preparing to attend a White House dinner of evangelical leaders, Tony Perkins of the Family Research Council (FRC) sent out a fundraising message in support of President Trump's nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court. What Perkins didn't reveal to FRC supporters is that Kavanaugh's mentor on the court, Justice Anthony Kennedy, supported abortion-on-demand and same-sex marriage, and that Kavanaugh has promised to uphold Court precedents.... JERRY NEWCOMBE — The New York Times' slogan is famously, "All the news that's fit to print." I guess Facebook's slogan should be, "All the liberal news that's fit to print." And not just Facebook, but Google, YouTube, Twitter, Vimeo, and Apple. Look at this variety of recent examples where social media giants are allegedly censoring conservative or Christian content:... ‘The only way to clear up this messy saga is for Trump to immediately declassify all the documents — without redactions’
VICTOR DAVIS HANSON — Special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation was star-crossed from the start. His friend and successor as FBI director, James Comey, by his own admission prompted the investigation -- with the deliberate leaking of classified memos about his conversations with President Donald Trump to the press.... U.S. rate actually less than 1/10th of that claimed, less than 3% of world’s total
WASHINGTON TIMES — A shock 2016 study argued that the U.S. accounted for nearly one-third of all mass shootings, sparking global headlines about the dangers of an American gun culture. Now another researcher says the original study "botched" the data. John R. Lott Jr., president of the Crime Prevention Research Center, crunched the numbers and said his count shows that the U.S. had less than 3 percent of the world's mass public shootings over a 15-year period.... NATIONAL REVIEW — According to a new piece in Vox, Nabisco's just-redesigned animal-crackers box deserves criticism because it does nothing to "dismantle" capitalism. In case you missed the (very important) news, Nabisco listened to pressure from PETA last week and removed the cage from the design on the box of its animal crackers. It was truly a giant step for humanity. I've been eating and sleeping better just knowing that these imaginary animals have been freed from their imaginary captivity.... (more)

JOSEPH FARAH — While the Google-Facebook machine claims to fight fake news, these monopolies are actually spreading fake news while censoring alternative, independent news sources. Let me give you an example. Last week, CNN's Jim Sciutto had two big scoops debunked as false, phony and provably fake news -- not by me, but by his own colleagues. Sciutto is CNN's chief national security correspondent. He joined the network after serving in Barack Obama's White House and is an anti-Donald Trump zealot.... (more)

Only 11 out of 240 claimed incidents can actually be confirmed
NEWSMAX — The U.S. Education Department official report on the number of incidents involving a school shooting are much higher than can be confirmed, NPR reported on Tuesday. The extremely inaccurate report comes at a time, NPR stated, when the need for clear data on school violence is very pressing as students nationwide return to classes in the aftermath of the most recent mass shootings in Parkland, Florida and Santa Fe, Texas.... WASHINGTON TIMES — Passing legislation hasn't been Rep. Jim Jordan's strong suit, but that isn't dampening the spirit of conservatives who are rallying behind his bid to become the 55th speaker of the House. Instead, it is his ability to gum up the works, along with his near-unwavering support for President Trump, that is enchanting tea party and right-wing groups. They say they have been ill-served by a string of deal-making Republican leaders.... (more)

NEWSMAX — Pennsylvania's top law enforcement official said Tuesday the Vatican knew of the alleged cover-up of predator priests -- but stopped short of including the pope. In an interview on Fox News' "Shepard Smith Reporting," Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro, who issued a bombshell grand jury report revealing that more than 1,000 children were molested by 301 "predator priests" in six dioceses over decades, said "individuals put the reputation" of the church "ahead of people they're supposed to be protecting."... NATIONAL REVIEW — Almost everyone is familiar with the expression "War is too important to be left to the generals." Credited to Georges Clemenceau, the French prime minister at the end of World War I, the aphorism seems simple on its face. Military leaders, embroiled in the tactics and operations of the battlefield, might lose touch with the larger issues at hand -- especially political ones -- in wartime. The quip has been embraced as a principle by civil-military scholars in democracies over the years to bolster the case for civilian control of the military.... (more)

CLIFF KINCAID — More than one year ago, on May 24, 2017, in a column titled, "Special Counsel Mueller Will Get His Man." I wrote, "Those who say there is no evidence of a crime in Russia-gate miss the whole point. [Robert] Mueller will produce evidence of a crime out of nothing if he has to." Hence, we see the forces of legal terrorism being brought to bear on issues and people completely unrelated to Russia. President Trump's family is now reportedly being targeted.... (more)
