Embassy move will help 'end the reign of Islamist terror'
ALAN KEYES — In 1995, The United States Congress passed (by a vote of 374-37 in the U.S. House of Representatives, and 93-5 in the U.S. Senate) the bill entitled the Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995. Its stated purpose was "to provide for the relocation of the United States Embassy to Jerusalem." So, why is the United States Embassy to Israel still physically located in Tel Aviv?... (more)

JOAN SWIRSKY — It's become de rigeur for public figures and media personalities to repeat the tired mantra: Always believe the women. This refers, of course, to any accusation of sexual harassment, no matter how far in the past it took place and even if it was interpreted at the time as innocent flirting.... (more)

AL.COM — In a poll released less than 24 hours before the polls open on Tuesday, Alabama Senate Republican nominee Roy Moore has taken his biggest lead in weeks. In the Emerson College poll, Moore has seized a 9-point lead over Democrat Doug Jones in polling done in recent days.... (more)

CHELSEA SCHILLING — "Impeach him!" some Democrats cry, as they accuse the U.S. president of "colluding" with Russia to undermine the 2016 presidential election. WASHINGTON TIMES — California Gov. Jerry Brown and former Vice President Al Gore lead the list of those blaming climate change for Southern California's devastating wildfires, calling them "the new normal," but others insist the science just isn't there. That includes climate scientists such as University of Washington meteorologist Cliff Mass, who moved to extinguish the "now normal" narrative by arguing that the data "strongly suggests there is no credible evidence" that global warming is fueling this fall's California coastal wildfires, and that claims to the contrary are "baseless, if not outright wrong."... AL.COM — North Korea's political prisons are just as bad as - and perhaps even worse than - the Nazi concentration camps of the Holocaust, a renowned judge and Auschwitz survivor has concluded after hearing from former North Korean prisoners and guards.... (more)

WASHINGTON EXAMINER — A terrorist set off a bomb in New York's subway Monday morning, and the worst thing he did was blow up his own crotch. That may be why you don't see the cries and arguments that you usually see in the wake of terrorist attacks. There have been no loud calls for new security measures, no angry attacks on the intelligence community, no bills proposing more surveillance, no new legislation to curb immigration, and no new country we're supposed to invade.... WASHINGTON TIMES — A Nevada federal judge raised the possibility of a mistrial Monday in the 2014 standoff at the Bundy ranch, citing the failure of prosecutors to provide the defense in a timely fashion with a slew of documents. U.S. District Judge Gloria Navarro also dismissed the jurors, who had returned Monday to the Las Vegas courthouse for the first time since Nov. 29, and told them to return Dec. 20.... (more)

WASHINGTON TIMES — President Trump continues to push back at the hostile news media with great vigor, prompting his critics to squawk and chafe -- but to no avail. The presidential tweet has become a strategic fixture in the war between White House and press corps, and an effective one at that.... (more)

WASHINGTON TIMES — Al Gore's sequel to "An Inconvenient Truth" has ended up on the shortlist for Oscar consideration despite questions about its credibility raised by challenges to some of its climate-change claims. WASHINGTON TIMES — A Korean War veteran who spent 16 months on the front lines told reporters on Friday that God was with him when two men broke into his home. Don Lutz of Ellport, Pennsylvania, woke up to the sound of strangers barreling their way into his kitchen early Friday, but only one of invaders left alive. The former power-lifter and gymnast, just three months shy of his 85th birthday, grabbed his Taurus M380 revolver and fired a round that went through the chest of one assailant.... (more)

BRYAN FISCHER — Contrary to popular perception, Al Franken did not resign yesterday. He only announced his intent to resign on a future date uncertain. Here's what he said: [T]oday I am announcing that in the coming weeks I will be resigning as member of the United States Senate. I, of all people, am aware that there is some irony in the fact that I am leaving while a man who has bragged on tape about his history of ... sexual assault sits in the Oval Office and a man who has repeatedly preyed on young girls campaigns for the Senate with the full support of his party.... LLOYD MARCUS — After spending the last four months moving from Florida and settling into our new home in West Virginia, Mary and I are on the road again. We are flying to campaign for Judge Moore in the Alabama U.S. Senate race. Moore's Democrat opponent, Doug Jones, is a horrible, deceitful man. DAILY CALLER — Like a headless turkey running around in circles, Special Counsel Robert Mueller's anti-Trump investigation is dead, even if he does not yet realize it. While his investigation stumbles onward, with life support provided by the biased media, from a legal perspective the viability of any criminal case that Mueller could possibly bring has been effectively gutted thanks to the news (suppressed for months by Mueller's team) that the FBI's "key agent" in both the Russia investigation and the Clinton email probe was an ardent Hillary supporter with an anti-Trump bias.... WES VERNON — The fate of this nation, as some of us see it, now depends (some would say perilously so) on the outcome of the vote in several states in upcoming elections. The makeup of the next Congress, plus governorships and legislatures on state levels, will be determined in the years ahead. Much of this drama has erupted largely through the banana republic-like tactics of an angry effort to gin up a revolutionary-appearing attempt to foment a "silent coup," whose endgame is to bring down a duly-elected President of the United States.... CLIFF KINCAID — Rush Limbaugh has interviewed former prosecutor Andrew C. McCarthy about how Robert S. Mueller's Russia-gate investigation has turned out so badly for President Trump and his associates. That's funny. Back in May, McCarthy, a former assistant U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, wrote an article for National Review appearing under the headline, "Robert Mueller: A Solid Choice for Trump-Russia Investigation 'Special Counsel.'"...
