CLIFF KINCAID She endorsed him, and he paid respects at her funeral, but it appears that President Donald Trump hasn't read Phyllis Schlafly's book The Supremacists: The Tyranny of Judges and How to Stop It. Rather than simply Tweet his disgust with rulings against his immigration executive order, Trump and his advisers should read the book, especially Schlafly's Chapter 15. It offers a series of measures, including impeachment, to stop tyrannical judges.... (more)

WESLEY PRUDEN Neil Gorsuch doesn't know much about politics and how the political class in Washington works, and that's a good thing. Politics and the law make unnatural bedfellows, and the progeny of such beds is often unnatural. But a well-meaning innocent adventuring into the high weeds that abound in Washington can get into trouble without meaning to, and when the innocent emerges from the weeds he can expect a face full of thistles and scratches.... THE EDITORS OF NATIONAL REVIEW The Ninth Circuit's decision against President Trump's immigration order is worse than wrong. It is dangerous. LAW NEWZ In a rare move, one of the judges on the Ninth Circuit of Appeals has made a request that a vote be taken as to whether the order issued by the three judges Thursday night should be reconsidered en banc, which means before 11 federal judges of the Ninth Circuit. It's not clear if this means that this judge (who was not named in the order) believes that there are enough votes to overturn the lower court's decision which put a temporary halt on Trump's controversial travel ban or if the judge simply wasn't satisfied with the panel's decision....
