ALAN KEYES Saul of Tarsus, known to us as St. Paul, is often cited as an example of the way the Lord can transform and use, for His good purposes, people who have egregiously sinned against Him. Some self- professed Christian supporters of Donald Trump have cited St. Paul in their efforts to overcome objections to Mr. Trump's candidacy, raised in light of the anti-Christian tenor of his way of life before he began pursuing his political ambitions. Aside from his self-flaunted reputation as a sexual libertine, Mr. Trump stood solidly in support of so-called "abortion rights," just like Hillary Clinton.... (more)

WES VERNON Having witnessed presidential races during much of the 20th and so far in the 21st century, it is hard to figure out what's in store leading up to November 8th, when all the votes are in. Based on what is coming to the forefront even as I write, there is too much at stake this time for Hillary Clinton to "get away with it" as she has in the past.... (more)

CLIFF KINCAID Left-wing media critics I have debated over the years have repeatedly bashed the slanted "corporate media." But now that a Republican presidential candidate has taken up this charge, with concrete proof, they are shying away from supporting his critique. You see, these critics were Bernie Sanders supporters, and Sanders has sold out to those special interests by throwing his support to the corporate candidate, Democrat Hillary Clinton.... (more)

ANDREW C. MCCARTHY So now Hillary finally knows what the "(C)" stands for in government documents: It's Cartwright . . . as in four-star Marine General James E. Cartwright, the retired 67-year-old former vice chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the expendable federal official against whom laws protecting classified information actually get enforced.... NEWSMAX WikiLeaks deduced that its supporters may be behind the massive attack on the United States' internet that left many websites and segments of the country offline Friday. The group posted a message on Twitter, asking its supporters to cease its cyber attacks. A wave of attacks hit several websites Friday morning and a second attack occurred early Friday afternoon.... TIMOTHY P. CARNEY Hillary Clinton can change her views in an instant on trade, guns, gay marriage, and all sorts of issues, but she's consistent in this: she wants war. The Democratic nominee in the final debate reiterated her bellicose stance towards Syria. Combined with her 2003 vote for war in Iraq, and her central role in getting the U.S. into the 2011 war in Libya, Clinton could become the most hawkish candidate elected president in most Americans' lifetimes.... JOHN FUND The last time an inarticulate, septuagenarian Republican candidate fared poorly in debates while running against a member of the Clinton family was 1996. That year Bob Dole lost to Bill Clinton. Dole is not Donald Trump, but Republicans reacted to Dole's likely loss in October with a cold, unemotional strategy. It was best articulated by Haley Barbour, the chairman of the Republican National Committee: "If Clinton is elected, heaven forbid, the last thing the American people want is for him to have a blank check in the form of a liberal Democrat Congress."... DAVID FRENCH I distinctly remember the first time I saw a picture of my then-seven-year-old daughter's face in a gas chamber. It was the evening of September 17, 2015. I had just posted a short item to the Corner calling out notorious Trump ally Ann Coulter for aping the white-nationalist language and rhetoric of the so-called alt-right. Within minutes, the tweets came flooding in. My youngest daughter is African American, adopted from Ethiopia, and in alt-right circles that's an unforgivable sin. It's called "race-cucking" or "raising the enemy."... (more)

RICH LOWRY No one can accuse Kellyanne Conway of complacency. She is already preparing for post-election recriminations. Donald Trump's campaign manager has recently cited Hillary Clinton's financial advantage, media bias, and President Barack Obama's popularity as reasons Trump should be losing to Clinton even more badly. She also floated the stabbed-in-the-back thesis: "We have the Never Trumpers," she said in a MSNBC interview, "who are costing us 4 or 5 percent in places."... (more)
