Obama adds another "news" network to his stable

Reminiscent of Orwell's book 1984, soon all television broadcasts may carry Dictator in Chief Barack Hussein Obama and his message all of the time. Joining NBC (the New Barack Channel), ABC (the All Barack Channel) will now begin broadcasting from the White House. We assume CBS (perhaps the Central Barack Station?) will follow its betters soon and announce that it too will officially become an Obama mouthpiece. By the way, no opposing viewpoints will be carried or allowed. ABC also plans to run a free-to-Obama campaign promoting the dictator's healthcare plan. Does anyone at all remember the name Hugo Chavez? Obama now overtly and formally controls US network news. This is a substantive sign of Tyranny.
And in the true spirit of his tyranny, Obama has been releasing at least one horrific piece of information almost each and every day — the latest being his control of the news. Tyrants release shocking information each and every day until the now-ruled member population becomes numbed to it. When the members (once know as "We-the-People") become "numbed-down," they become more compliant and are far easier to control. These members then begin the process of ignoring or denying the fact that they have become slaves to the tyrant. This is also a substantive sign of Tyranny.
On 24 June, ABC's Charlie Gibson will read the ObamaNews from the Blue Room in the US White House. This will be followed by ABC's (and perhaps all of Obama's now state-run news networks) pro-Obama "special" on his Universal health care plan. This is the plan that is designed to result very shortly in NO healthcare for any America save the ObamaElite and those that Obama will deem "worthy" of saving. This is also the same Universal Health care plan that — coupled with the new ObamaTax (Cap & Trade) on Energy — will finally and irrevocably bankrupt the country, place the rest of its wealth in Obama's and his adherents' pockets and, once and for all, end the middle-class that Obama appears to vehemently detest. Note: This is happening in front of the world. Those who wish to ignore and/or deny it have placed their heads firmly back into the sand.
In a letter to the head of ABC News, RNC Chief of Staff Ken McKay notes: "In the absence of opposition, I am concerned this event will become a glorified infomercial to promote the Democrat agenda. If that is the case, this primetime infomercial should be paid for out of the DNC coffers. President Obama does not hold a monopoly on health care reform ideas or on free airtime. The President has stated time and time again that he wants a bipartisan debate. Therefore, the Republican Party should be included in this primetime event, or the DNC should pay for your airtime." The network is expected to ignore McKay. This is another substantive sign of Tyranny.
Socialism, Communism, Fascism, Nazism and other tyrannical and totalitarian forms of government are each branches emanating from the same tree. Each is indicative of those who wish to tightly control all of the actions of individuals within populations, exterminate those individuals who do not support them and increase the size of governments — as was affected by Joseph Stalin, Adolph Hitler, Mussolini, Pol Pot etc. A new name has now been added to the list. When does it become time to unearth and destroy this tree and replace it with one that grows and supports the branches and leaves of Liberty?
