British Member of Parliament, Andrew Bridgen, recently dove headfirst into international hot water via the following tweet concerning the COVID vaccine:
The article linked in Bridgen’s now deleted tweet provides a detailed examination of recently released CDC data, concluding:
The CDC analysis shows that the number of serious adverse events reported in less than two years for mRNA COVID-19 vaccines is 5.5 times larger than all serious reports for vaccines given to adults in the US since 2009 (~73,000 vs. ~13,000).
A firestorm of criticism and condemnation has since rained down on Bridgen, both at home and abroad.
On January 12, the BBC reported:
Andrew Bridgen has been suspended as a Conservative MP for spreading misinformation about Covid vaccination.
The BBC, despite being the originator of the so-called “Trusted News Initiative,” is, at best, telling but a half-truth. Sure, Bridgen ruffled the feathers of the COVID regime, but this is nothing new for him.
As the BBC report acknowledges:
Last autumn he [Bridgen] began to make increasingly baseless claims including that vaccines were killing many people and that the damage was being covered up.
Curiously, Bridgen wasn’t suspended for repeatedly fingering vaccine pushers as accessories to murder in the past. So, why now?
Bridgen’s true crime in this case is perhaps the only offense less tolerable than breaching the approved COVID narrative; he violated a sacred trademark.
You see, very much like Hitler® and Nazi®, the word Holocaust® is a proprietary commodity belonging solely to Holocaust, Inc.
To be clear, Holocaust, Inc. is not Jewish. In fact, it is comprised of individuals and associated organizations that despise the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, while firmly rejecting the moral tenets of Judaism properly so called.
Holocaust, Inc. is truly nothing more than the marketing arm of a broader progressive humanist enterprise that is Hell bent on increasing its financial and political influence in furtherance of an anti-Catholic, globalist, agenda that includes such abominations as abortion-on-demand, LGBT activism, and earth worship.
Writing for the Independent UK, James Moore, the outlet’s chief business commentator, addressed the true nature of Bridgen’s crime head-on:
The use of the word “Holocaust” should be an automatic red flag … It is problematic that the term for the industrialised mass murder of an entire people has been trivialised as a simile in recent years, courtesy of social media.
This has given me an idea for a tweet of my own. Pardon me whilst I update my Twitter account:
OK, I’m back.
Evidently, Mr. Moore – whose LinkedIn bio indicates that he received a degree in genetics from the University of Manchester, didn’t take any undergrad English classes. As I seem to recall from my Catholic grade school days, a simile is a literary device that compares one thing to another using the words “like” or “as.”
Recall Bridgen’s highly inflammatory tweet:
As one cardiologist said to me, this is the biggest crime against humanity since the Holocaust.
Note that Bridgen, in citing the unnamed cardiologist, isn’t comparing the death vax to the Holocaust at all. In fact, his tweet strongly suggests that the Holocaust is the biggest crime against humanity. In no way does he even imply that it’s a bigger crime.
So, what’s the problem?
It’s the way – or better stated, the purpose for which – Bridgen invoked the Holocaust®.
In reality, one is free to invoke the Holocaust®, Nazis®, and Hitler® without the express permission of Holocaust, Inc., – with impunity no less – but only if it is done in a manner that is consonant with their godless aims, usually as a means of silencing critics.
If Andrew Bridgen is to be criticized for anything in this case, it’s apologizing for, and deleting, his perfectly reasonable tweet.
