Batman's Endgame = Obama's End-term, Part 2

*N.B.: This article is a summary of the New York Times bestselling comic book, "Batman Vol. 7: Endgame", part of the "New 52" Batman comic series. This is a continuation of my previous article analyzing the genius of the writer, Scott Snyder, Professor at Columbia, and gifted artist Gregg Capullo's legendary depiction of the Dark Knight and its significance to modern day America, specifically covering the devastating final months of the Obama Presidency (2009-17)
Endgame Part 4
The dramatic Batman epic continues with Batman holding Duke Thomas while flying on his glider through Gotham City overrun by the Joker's toxin (Joker's toxin turns loved ones into enemies). Batman soars through the historic Foundry Square where police Commissioner Jim Gordon resides in an apartment, all the while being chased by dozens of giggling Gothamites seeking to kill Batman. Batman crashes through the window of Gordon's apartment and throws a batarang unloading a giant wad of gum-like substance that blocks the window from the hordes of deranged Gotham citizens. Upstairs Batman finds Commissioner Gordon, severely injured from the Joker attacking him, is slumped on the floor with an axe pushed partially into his bullet-proof vest covered chest. Batman tells Duke, who remains frozen in anxiety for his parents (who were abducted by the diseased Gothamites last chapter), to grab a first-aid kit in a bathroom. As Batman tries to comfort him, suddenly Gordon grabs the axe out of his vest and raises it against Batman, indicating that he too has been perverted by Joker's toxin. Just before he swings it, Batman's ally Julia arrives and shoots two tranquilizers at Gordon, immediately knocking him out. Julia arrived to tell Batman that Joker's virus rots an individual's cells from within. Duke gathers his composure and hands Batman a first aid kit for Gordon, and states, "You'll do it. I know you can. You'll save my parents. All of them. Just like you always do."
Julia and Duke sneak out of the apartment and venture back to the Batcave, while Batman secures Gordon. Batman then journeys out of the apartment while talking to his ally and former partner Night-Wing via ear-piece on how the Joker shouldn't have survived Gordon's gun shot and escaped. During the conversation, Batman is repeatedly swarmed by nearby hypnotized Gotham citizens, to which the Dark Knight uses his grappling hook and smoke bombs to escape. Speaking with Night-Wing, Batman deduces that Joker has taken a healing drug that is the exact inverse of the chemical used in the toxin plaguing Gotham, adding, "They're opposites. It's a game he's playing. Life and death. Comedy and tragedy. Love and hate." This is the existential duality or dualism that permeates this entire Batman volume.
As Batman speaks, suddenly a solider driving a militarized tank (part of the army unit sent to quell the chaos) blasts a rocket at Batman, covering him in a pile of rubble. Undeterred, Batman speaks with Night-Wing on the prospect of how Joker received aid to make the toxin from a doctor recently confined to Arkham Asylum. While under machine gun fire, Batman leaps into the air and punches the soldier driving the tank, moving to knock out both drivers and hijack the tank. Driving through Gotham Batman tells Night-Wing that Joker knows his own secret identity (Bruce Wayne) and that he will need the help of all his other allies to battle against the Clown Prince of Crime.
Batman jumps out his tank and journeys to the house of Dr. Paul Dekker, a genius in the field of regenerative sciences, suspected to have helped Joker produce the hallucinogenic toxin that has thrown Gotham City into chaos. While searching the Doctor's basement, Batman describes Dekker's regenerative invention of the healing stich, capable of reviving dying cells as the following, "A thread that unravels a cell's fate, and then re-sews it in a crazy new direction. Re-stitching a body's basic life pattern like some reverse Frankenstein." Suddenly, Dekker appears and shoots at the Dark Knight with an automatic rifle, causing Batman to take cover behind some boxes. As Batman hides, Dekker speaks on how there have been many countless stories written by Herodotus and other Greek writers on the myth of Eternal Life and the Fountain of Youth. Dekker speaks on how he and Joker discovered a mystical chemical substance in the earth, stating,
Batman confronts the Court of Owls
Endgame Part 5
Batman argues with the Court on how he has placed their evil intentions in check and demands that they disclose the whereabouts of the Dionesium Joker has used, referring to a secret mining project that he suspects the Court has undertaken to find the chemical beneath Gotham city. Batman suspects that the Dionesium is within the Electrum, the substance used to revive their undead foot soldiers (known as Talons), to which the Court agrees but refuses to speak any further on the subject. The head of the Court points up to an upside down hanging scale model of Gotham City and states,
The Talon begins swinging a scythe and claw at Batman, cutting the Dark Knight multiple times while declaring, "Batman, the Court of Owls, has sentenced you, to die!" Batman retaliates by stabbing the Talon through the arm with a cinderblock building from the scale model, and tells him that he doesn't have time to fight. Batman acknowledges the Talon's centuries' old history from 400 years ago in Gotham (Talons are repeatedly revived and brought back to life by Electrum), and asks if the Joker was around during his time (if Joker is immortal). When the Talon says yes, Batman believes it to be a lie, and escapes the layer. Elsewhere, in the Gotham river leading to the Batcave, wearing a swim suit, the Joker swims miles through the water (the Dionesium constantly reviving him underwater) and overcomes multiple booby traps to be the first villain ever to enter into Batman's secret lair. As he gazes at Batman's many gadgets and trophies, Alfred (Batman's butler) shoots part of Joker's face and causes the villain to take cover. As Alfred searches for Joker, he is taunted by the villain from the shadows, who speaks of knowing Alfred's past as a thespian. Joker then leaps out behind a wall and slices Alfred's right hand off with a butcher's knife, causing him to drop his gun. In total shock, Alfred escapes to safety in the cave's armory while Joker begins raiding Batman's cave for weapons and trophies.
Later, Batman finds that Joker has stolen many of Batman's trophies and vehicles, like one of his Batmobiles and scale-model T-Rex, all to add dramatic flair to a massive parade he hosts in the main streets of Gotham City, surrounded by hundreds of hypnotized Gotham citizens.
Joker's demented parade
Joker declares his philosophy of nihilism in how life is meaningless and struggling to find meaning is pointless. He maniacally invites all of the crazed Gotham citizens to his parade for "one last dance." Fast forwarding to a scene where Batman is apparently fighting through the army of hundreds of hypnotized Gotham citizens. Using his martial arts skills, he punches, kicks, and knocks down multiple citizens before he is overwhelmed by an entire group. As the pounce onto the Dark Knight, suddenly a pole and a bolas are thrown to knock-out some of the surrounding citizens. Batman looks up and finds his allies and pupils in crime fighting: Red Hood, Red Robin, Bat Girl, and Blue Bird repelling many of Batman's attackers. To add context, the story then flashes back to an hour earlier at Ace Chemicals (where the Joker first become who he was), where Batman and his allies host a meeting for a plan to take down Joker. Batman's allies question why he has brought so many gas masks for them to wear when battling through the mob of diseased citizens, to which, out of no-where, enter in many of Batman's Super-Villains to everyone's shock, except for Batman who explains their presence as being part of a secret Villain pact,
"My enemies have a secret pact. They think I don't know about it but I do. The pact is, on the day I die, they will shine the Bat-signal over the city. It was the Joker's idea. A light in the sky to commemorate me. A Bat hanging upside down, at rest."
Batman's many enemies
Naturally, an argument breaks out between Batman's allies and enemies, to which Batman silences all of them and reveals his plan on how they will all team up and battle through the many hordes of Gotham citizens surrounding Joker's parade float, allowing Batman to ambush Joker and take a chemical sample of Dionesium from his spine. To rally support Batman declares,
"It's our city. All of ours. And we need to take it back from him, now, together, or it's over. For all of us. Forever. So tell me, Who's in?!"
Fast-forwarding to an hour later in current time, Batman, his allies, and his enemies, for the first time ever, battle side by side through the chaotic crowd of Gotham citizens.
Batman Endgame Part 6 (Final)
Batman and his allies/enemies battling Gotham's citizens
Despite taking down hundreds of Gothamites, there prove to be too many swarming Batman's team, forcing the gang to regroup. As planned, Poison Ivy, using her power to control plants and vines, creates a large wall of vines from beneath the street to shield them all from the attacking citizens. Batman rushes at Bane, who uses his super strength to throw Batman high above the wall, allowing him to glide over and grab onto Joker's parade float. In retaliation, Joker pulls out a chain saw and attacks the Dark Knight, who dodges Joker's weapon and outflanks the villain while putting him in a chock hold. Before Batman can put a syringe into Joker's spine to extract the Dionesium, the Villain activates multiple large speakers in the area that creating an excruciatingly loud noise that halts Batman and his allies, while shattering their gas masks. Joker then unleashes a cloud of fatal toxic gas that knocks out Batman's allies, leaving himself unharmed. As Batman begins to faint, Joker gloats how his efforts were futile and that he neutralized the Dionesium in his spine, pointing out how the only remaining source of it lies deep in a secret cave under Gotham. As Joker removes Batman's mask, suddenly it is revealed to that non-other than Night-Wing (Batman's ally) is dressed as the Dark Knight (who secretly switched out with Batman, after he rallied the villains' help at Ace Chemical), shocking Joker and causing him to activate a fail-safe switch to blow up the secret cave where the Dionesium reservoir is.
Elsewhere, it is revealed that the real Batman has discovered the cave and used a harness to venture more than a thousand feet underground to find a hidden lake of the Dionesium. As he lowers a container into the lake to manufacture a cure for the city, suddenly the explosives Joker wired in the cave begin to blow, forcing Batman to retreat back to his harness. Talking to Julia via ear-piece Batman begins to send her the cure by rope. Before he climbs up, suddenly Joker stabs him in the back with a knife. Batman tells Julia that he will stay sacrifice himself to finish off the Joker. The Dark Knight and the Clown Prince then clash in their bloodiest most intense battle ever, with the Hero and Villain bashing and thrashing each other to the point of near-death as the cave crumbles around them.
Batman VS. Joker
Soon, Joker has Batman pinned to the ground and attempts to stab the Hero. Suddenly a large cave pillar drops from the ceiling and lands onto the Joker, disabling the villain. Joker then attempts to crawl to the Dionesium lake to revive himself, prompting Batman to grab him and pin him to the ground, jokingly telling the villain that he doesn't need it because he's immortal (the grand lie Joker sought to make everyone believe). Suddenly a large boulder drops on top of the lake, sealing it away. Devastated and certain of death, Joker lays his head down in defeat, as Batman tells Julia to deliver the cure and disseminate it over Gotham to save his allies and the city. The cave then collapses upon the two. Two weeks later, it is revealed that everyone in Gotham City has been saved from the Dionesium cure Batman sent. Everyone in the city shines Batman flash lights into the sky, mourning the loss of their beloved Hero. In a hospital Julia speaks to her father Alfred on how she doesn't understand why Batman never took any Dionesium or healing chemicals to protect himself, "It's like he was daring death. I just don't know." She tells a mournful Alfred Batman's dying message, and asks what it means, to which Alfred explains thus,
"It means he was flawed. It's the thing Bruce knew to be true about Batman, more than anything else. The thing we all knew deep down, but don't like to admit. That the story of Batman is, and will always be a tragedy. Bruce would never have let it be anything else. Batman could live forever. He could escape. But he dies, just like every one of us, even though he doesn't have to. That's his flaw. But it's also his greatest strength. The very thing that makes him immortal. He says 'we're in this together' he says 'to live bravely in the time you have and smile at the void.' That's why the note says what it does. Why it's only one word. Why Batman's last message is, and will always be: HA."

Significance for Modern Day
The genius behind the Shakespearean Epic of Batman: Endgame bears almost innumerable comparisons to America's modern day tragic state of existence under the tyrannical presidency of Barack Hussein Obama. As explained in my previous article, Obama and his devastating final term in office, where beyond any other Progressive Revisionist President before him, has single-handedly deconstructed the rule of law to befit his own political intentions and has drastically weakened and down-graded America' once great position in the World, represents Joker and his destructive endgame, which has accomplished a similar aim toward destabilizing Gotham city from within by poisoning all of its citizens with a toxin of chaos, weakening the safety of the city placing everyone in a position of helpless terror.

Significance for Modern Day
The genius behind the Shakespearean Epic of Batman: Endgame bears almost innumerable comparisons to America's modern day tragic state of existence under the tyrannical presidency of Barack Hussein Obama. As explained in my previous article, Obama and his devastating final term in office, where beyond any other Progressive Revisionist President before him, has single-handedly deconstructed the rule of law to befit his own political intentions and has drastically weakened and down-graded America' once great position in the World, represents Joker and his destructive endgame, which has accomplished a similar aim toward destabilizing Gotham city from within by poisoning all of its citizens with a toxin of chaos, weakening the safety of the city placing everyone in a position of helpless terror.
Throughout his 8 years in Office, Obama has openly violated dozens of laws:
- Bribing Senators in 2009 to pass the crumbling failed healthcare system known as Obamacare (which, as of October 2016, have sustained sky-rocketing double-digit premiums),
- refusing to enforce existent border laws, allowing amnesty for millions of illegal aliens awaiting deportation in the country,
- Obama's fast and furious drug trafficking scandal that allowed thousands of American made firearms into the hands of Mexican drug cartels,
- illegally establishing a kill-list for certain Americans to be terminated by drone strikes without the 6th Amendment's due process,
- coercing and bullying multiple tax exempt Christian and conservative organizations through the IRS,
- intervening in Libya in 2011 without Congressional approval,
- Obama lied that he did not know about Hillary's illegal home computer server as revealed in WikiLeaks, and so on and so forth.
Batman represents Republican Presidential Nominee Donald Trump, who like Batman seeking to destroy Joker's legacy of evil, Trump is not battling merely against Crooked Hillary Clinton (as he calls her) this election, but against the continuation of the self-destructive legacy of the Obama presidency which will be perpetuated by Clinton if she wins. As Batman battled through a chaotic Gotham, infested with crime and terror, so has been Trump's perilous quest through battling against all forms of opposition and societal rebuke, seeking to "drain the Washington, D.C. swamp" and to clean up the numerous corruptions that the Obama administration has unleashed upon America's crumbling infrastructure, crime-ridden inner cities, poor school systems, failed healthcare, etc.
As Joker has only grown stronger by turning Gotham citizens against each other, so has Obama and Democrat elitists in his criminal cabinet grown rich and powerful form the divided societal interests against each other. These Democrat apparatchiks have systematically fomented a sinister brand of societal, political, and racial animosity among citizens and law enforcement officials alike.
Likewise, the Court of Owls, lurking in the shadows and encouraging Gotham's demise under Joker, represents the rich donors and special interests financing Hillary Clinton's campaign and encouraging her Machiavellian Globalist philosophy of open-borders, drastically multiplying the rate of undocumented Syrian refugees into the U.S, supporting Canadian single payer health care, and etc. Batman's small group of loyal allies represents the loyalty Trump's small campaign team, while the unprecedented aid of Batman's villains represents the unlikely emergence of the silent majority turning out to fuel the Trump Revolution.
In conclusion, America must awaken to the true reality of the abominable position of weakness and disrepair the Obama administration has placed the U.S into, ultimately seeking to recreate the nation into a third-world cesspool under the hemispheric zero border Globalist ideology shared by Hillary Clinton. We the people must see that this is not just an election between Republicans and Democrats, but a battle to the death between the rightful representation of the will of the people advocating real change in government vs. a rigged, utterly corrupt political system sustained by the special interests of Progressive Globalist elitists seeking to deconstruct and ultimately destroy every vestige of America's Judeo-Christian traditions and institutions.
We the People must rise up in courage and unity to fight against the clear and present danger and wickedness of the Washington, D.C. apparatchiks abusing their power and position, just as Batman fought and won against the Joker's demonic power-grab over Gotham when the Joker boasted: "Because I'm the one who laughs, you get it?! I've always been there, laughing at you, at all of you, at the great joke, that you think your lives have meaning!"
The Joker is a Lie: Our lives do have meaning as individual creations of God, created in His image, not in the image of a deranged Clown.
America, don't allow Joker, or President Obama to have the last laugh at the void of political defeat and existential chaos, by standing on Veritas (truth) and the moral power of Natural Law and Natural Rights with a smile toward a better and brighter future for America (Gotham).
If President Obama is the Joker, who is the Joke... We the People? It doesn't have to be so – Change your destiny and the destiny of America and Vote the Joke out of existence on November 8, 2016.
