The purpose of political parties is to get their candidates elected, so the quest for power is intrinsic, but average party supporters also expect their party to advance and uphold certain principles. Therefore, a healthy political party balances power and principle, so they seek power with a purpose. However, when the lust for power eclipses the importance of principle, a party becomes corrupt and cynical. Both major parties certainly are and have been flawed, but the Democrat Party has been hijacked by power at any cost madmen.

Traditionally, the Republican Party stood for liberty and limited government, and the Democrat Party stood for fairness for the working man. Too many Republicans flirt with big government, but generally Republicans still support liberty and limited government. However, the remnants of the Democrat Party have abandoned the working class for illegal immigrants and LGBTQ+ special interests. Democrats became obsessed with power leaving principle behind, so standing for nothing Democrats are falling for anything.

The Democrat Party bet their future on “identity politics” which is the concept of dividing Americans into various and often conflicting “special interest” groups and giving each what they want with little consideration for the whole. For example, Democrats somehow get Pro-Hamas and LGBTQ+ groups to protest together even though the Muslims will eventually throw the homosexuals off buildings; it’s absurd and nonsensical. It sounds like chaos because it is and that is precisely where anarchist and totalitarian forces seek to establish themselves.

Old socialist hack, Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders has been a pathetic caricature for most of this mediocre political career until the last few years. Largely due to failed blue city policies, people are struggling with affordability and stifling government regulations, so too many are listening to the siren song of socialism – free stuff. Suddenly, old Bernie is the venerable patriarch of the emerging Democrat Socialist movement.

Bernie has actually been ascending since the Democrat National Committee cheated him out of the Democrat presidential nomination in 2016. Bernie was already old but any excitement in the Democrat Party was only in their identity politics subsets; the old time Democrat Party had grown stale. Ruled by octogenarians, they needed energy, vigor, and youth, so enter the Democrat Socialists of America. If they can bring enthusiasm and win some elections, Democrats were willing to welcome them into their big tent. Never mind, these radical newcomers are rabid communists and Islamists that want to destroy western civilization. If they can win some seats, bring them aboard.

Democrats have no problem with socialism because it gets them power, but they have been shocked to learn the young Turks they gave platform in the Democrat Party to defeat the orange menace would start their purge by taking the Democrat establishment out first. Upstart communist, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, directly opposed House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, by defeating Jeffries’ endorsed incumbents. And Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez has Senator Chuck Schumer sweating as she eyes his seat.

Always grinning like a mule eating cactus, Mamdani has a very dark side; he is the poster child for pernicious anti-Semitism in the New Democrat Party. He and his fellow Democrat Socialists demand the US withdraw all support for Israel and they justify the barbarism of Hamas terrorists here and abroad. Muslims in New York City are already proclaiming the Islamic Republic of New Yorkistan. Make no mistake, Islam is utterly incompatible with western civilization; it will dismantle our Constitutional Republic at the first opportunity. Democrats welcomed these extremists in just to gain power.

The textbook example that the Democrat Party is morally bankrupt is their fiasco with embattled hopelessly flawed Maine Senate candidate, Graham Platner. Despite red flags everywhere, Democrats were willing to overlook a Nazi tattoo, portapottie perversion, sexting with women and possibly minors on sex sites, sexual assault and harassment simply because they believed he could beat incumbent Republican Senator Susan Collins. Democrats have lost the male vote, so they were desperate to regain some modicum of masculinity. They have lost touch with men, so they failed to recognize toxic masculinity when they embraced Platner.

Platner was obviously a huge miscalculation, but the real shame is that they are finally withdrawing their support for this ogre not because credible allegations of rape surfaced, but because new polling shows he is unlikely to defeat Collins. Democrats were willing to tolerate a Nazi pervert, so they would have kept the rapist just to beat Collins and thwart Trump if they still thought Planter could win. Utterly Machiavellian, Democrats will justify any means for the ends.

Your grandfather’s Democrat Party is a dead man walking. Pelosi is retiring, Schumer is impotent, and Jeffries is incompetent. All the fire in the Democrat Party is in their radical left communist wing. As Democrat Socialists win mayorships in New York City, Seattle, and Washington, and House candidates win in New York and Colorado, moderate Democrats are now endangered species, and the Democrat establishment has no capacity to resist.

Despite the abject vacuum of morality and policies other than base communism, the Democrat Party will survive in some form, most likely the new socialist party, but it is definitely no longer the old time Democrat Party your grandfather supported. An indisputable patriot, President John F. Kennedy would be shunned in today’s Democrat Party.

None of this is good for the Democrat Party, but it’s worse for the country. Democrats are becoming a misfit collection of communists, Islamists, and militant LGBTQ+ activists. They are dangerous and unstable. They must never be allowed access to power. If they win the Congress, they will wreak havoc on America. Vote this November like your freedom depends on it because it does.
