More so than at any other time, truth is traded for lies, justice is elusive and unexpected, and accountability is abandoned. Government agencies and their cheerleaders in the Democrat Media Complex don’t even feign fairness anymore as they brazenly, obnoxiously, and relentlessly push leftist policies. Never mind who the people elect to office, the federal government and the media have chosen socialism and will not be deterred by the Constitution, elections, or the people. They will literally lie, cheat, and steal to advance their agenda.

Partisanship in media is not new, but government bureaucracies used to pride themselves for being impartial servants of the people fulfilling their public duties and working with whoever is elected. No more. Government agencies are so committed to socialism and globalism that they are unrestrained in their Machiavellian methods. So unbridled corruption has infected every branch of government. Corruption has always been a problem, but chronic corruption has pushed out any modicum of honor and integrity in government.

Americans have lost untold billions in taxpayer monies squandered or stolen, but worse, they have lost confidence in government. And even worse, Americans have lost more liberty than we realize. Widespread government corruption has pretty much rendered our Constitutional Republic little more than a cynical charade.

No better than a banana republic, the corruption and dishonesty run so deep that we see the courts trying to decide elections by removing candidates on spurious grounds to deny the people a voice in 2024. When the courts no longer blindly serve justice but rather partisan purposes, it just shows our institutions have rotted to the core.

Perhaps most dangerous, the United States has devolved into a police state. We have lost any expectation of privacy as the CIA and FBI practically have Carte Blanche to spy on any and all Americans through dubious legislation like the Patriot Act and Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act. The FBI routinely spies on Catholics, journalists, concerned parents, and political opponents, but has little interest in ANTIFA, BLM, or the hordes of illegal migrants invading our country.

The FBI has absolutely abandoned any pretense of impartiality, evenly enforcing the law, or even upholding the Constitution. They unilaterally covered for Hillary Clinton’s manifest crimes. They colluded with the Clinton Campaign in 2016 to create the ridiculous hoax that Trump was a Russian stooge, and they even paid a million dollars to a wayward British spy to prove it. Then the FBI with a duplicitous DOJ worked tirelessly to badger and undermine a duly elected presidency for over two years.

Failing at every trick to oust Trump, the FBI colluded with social media and manipulated the press to discredit or hide the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. They had Hunter’s laptop for years but have yet to take action. They were clearly trying to influence the 2020 election, but we are also learning they are covering for years of foreign influence pedaling by the Biden crime family.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has been weaponized to persecute political opponents. They look the other way as evidence of Biden’s corruption piles up with millions being paid to his family from China, Russia, and Ukraine for seemingly nothing. Yet they conspire with the National Archives to raid a former president’s residence for nothing more than a huge public display of a law enforcement raid on Trump under false pretenses. These are not mistakes; these are premeditated crimes against the country.

All these sordid schemes for years without any accountability set the stage for the biggest lie of this century – that there was an insurrection on January 6th, 2021, a patent falsehood. Americans showed up to make sure Congress knew they had grave suspicions about the 2020 election. They were generally mild mannered except for a few troublemakers, but slowly we are learning more and more of those troublemakers were FBI assets. Even the few struggles and some vandalism pale compared to any average ANTIFA / BLM protest, but the Democrats and Feds flipped the script, like the NAZIs burning down the Reichstag, and blamed the average Americans for their manufactured mutiny. It was all a huge, premeditated lie!

Joe Biden, Democrats, the Federal Bureaucracy, and the media bitterly cling to the obvious obfuscation that there was an insurrection to keep anyone from questioning the 2020 election. They must keep everyone focused on the fake insurrection to preclude any sober investigation of the 2020 election. As long as they stoke the insurrection ruse, the stolen 2020 election remains without review. Yes, the 2020 election was rigged. In four election cycles from 2000 to 2016, voter turnout increased each election by about 1.9%. In 2020, voter turnout increased more than 20% over 2016 – a tenfold increase. That didn’t happen.

None of this is new. Most Americans know about the pervasive corruption. It aggravates them and frustrates them, because it seems no one can stop it. Beyond some occasional grandstanding, no one is doing anything because cronyism has replaced governing. As long as the pork keeps flowing, the merry-go-round continues, but the corruption has metastasized into a spreading cancer that is eating away at our liberty and livelihoods.

At some point, the pork won’t matter if we have lost freedom, so the constant circus in Congress to compromise to spend money that we don’t have won’t stop the coming collapse of our Constitutional Republic. If our elected officials do not seek truth, pursue justice, and finally hold the many criminals in government accountable, nothing will matter as our republic dies.

“They promise them freedom, but they themselves are slaves of corruption. For whatever overcomes a person, to that he is enslaved” (2 Peter 2:19).
