Americans have had enough of all the Democrat extreme leftist madness creating chaos and acrimony across the country. Americans went to the polls with a vengeance last week to reject an insane “Defund the Police” measure in Minneapolis, sweep Democrats from power in blue Virginia, and loosen the vise grip Democrat strangle hold in deep blue New Jersey. It was by any account an electoral drubbing. McAuliffe in Virginia should have won handily and Murphy in New Jersey should have strolled to reelection, but voters sent a clear message: they do not want radical progressive policies, or all the “woke” garbage poisoning our schools.

What did Democrats learn from their monumental Election Day defeat? In short, nothing. Sane people would have stepped back and reassessed their policies and strategies, but Democrats just doubled down on their overzealous leftist madness. Democrats blamed the voters. They claimed the voters were stupid because they were duped by the “non-existent” threat of Critical Race Theory brainwashing our kids with Marxist ideology and teaching them racial division and hatred. They conveniently forgot they declared parents should have no role in their kids’ education and the Biden Administration sent the FBI after parents labeling them “domestic terrorists.” Parents turned out in droves to say “heck no!”

Democrats also claimed Republicans were propelled to victory by rampant racism; they muttered about white supremacy rearing its ugly head at the polls. Are Democrats daft? Have they noticed Virginia Lieutenant Governor elect Winsome Sears is uh, a black woman?! And, Virginia Attorney General elect Jason Miyares is the first Latino elected to statewide office. It appears “white supremacy” has achieved diversity.

Born to Jamaican immigrants, Sears is a first generation American coming from poverty to be the first black woman elected to statewide office in the Common Wealth. What an incredible American story! Regardless of party, Sears’ tremendous success should be lauded, but Democrats are so blind with ridiculous rage, they are saying she is a shill for white supremacy! That’s plain crazy. And to the Democrats’ chagrin, Sears also a Marine Corps Veteran is calling them out for their absurdity.

From an unending border crisis to record inflation to relentless COVID oppression to supply chain shortages to crazy CRT in our schools, Americans have plenty to be angry about. Republicans were speaking to all those issues, but the bar was actually lower. They said they would listen to the people and act according to their will, but really Republicans only needed to be not crazy. Hostage to the rabid super progressive squad, Democrats are off the chain no kidding bat guano crazy. They deny reality, ignore facts, and lie about everything and everyone; and even more bizarre; they swear everyone else is nuts. Democrats are seriously delusional thinking Americans really want their prescriptions despite overwhelmingly voting against them.

The Democrat Party line may be in denial, but moderate Democrats in office know they are doomed in 2022. Republicans lead in 85 battleground House races for next year and their chances to also regain the Senate are growing. Pelosi knows she will lose her job and Schumer realizes he is likely following her out, but give them credit – they are not playing like they are going to lose.

Republicans were putting up a reasonable defense until 13 wobbly Republicans betrayed the resistance to out of control government growth and spending by helping Pelosi pass Biden’s bloated and corrupt infrastructure bill. Pelosi did NOT have the Democrat votes! “Build Back Better” would have died; it only passed because 13 RINOs rode in to rescue it and the Democrat Socialists!

Democrats can depend on Republicans for two things: first, too many of them are weak and a few of them will always cave; and second, they are slow to act and unlikely to reverse whatever the Democrats can get passed. Despite many Republican promises, we still have ObamaCare. So Republicans are partly to blame for Democrats blatant disregard for the voters.

Democrat policies are nonsensical and unworkable and Democrats seem unhinged, but they are crazy like a fox. They are doubling down on their failed agenda because their goal is not to improve the American condition, but rather simply to consolidate power. They know whatever they get passed is likely to remain quite a while and maybe forever, so that’s why they are doubling down on their madness. They believe that when they return to power most of their progressive pillars will still be in place; they will just pick up where they left off.

That’s why America has been sliding inexorably toward socialism the past half century; Republicans seldom reverse or repair the leftist damage. We must keep working to stop the Democrats mad power grab, but we must elect Republicans that will eradicate socialism and restore our republic.

“You have not strengthened the weak or healed the sick or bound up the injured. You have not brought back the strays or searched for the lost. You have ruled them harshly and brutally” (Ezekiel 34:4).
