Oh, dear. Another terrorist was arrested on his way to commit mass murder of Americans (http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/02/17/feds-arrest-man-heading-to-us-capitol-for-suicide-mission/). But rather than the white, conservative, Christian, Constitution-supporting, American military veteran the FBI and DHS keep warning police about, or the 88 year-old white grandmother, or the little 6 year-old white girl that the TSA loves to frisk at the airport, he turned out to be, as 99 percent of them have, a foreign Muslim. Blonde conservative columnist — and therefore, by liberal and leftist media definition, rully dum! — Ann Coulter for years has accurately described who commits terrorist acts against America. Why, then, can't the departments and agencies of the federal government, who employ thousands of people, many certainly intelligent enough to do so, do so? A mystery, indeed.

With tax-time approaching, one wonders how is it that when a Democrat cheats on his taxes, like Treasury Secretary Timothy Geihtner and several other Obama-Soetoro appointees, or former Senate Majority Leader, Tom Daschle, or more recently, like Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), or Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-MO), or Rep. Pete Stark (D-CA), or Rep. Eliot Engel (D-NY), or Rep. Robert Wexler (D-MD), or Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-NY), just to name a few, how is it that they get a pass or at most, a slap on the wrist, while Republicans get driven out of office, and people like you and I end up bankrupt and in jail? A mystery, indeed.

And speaking of getting monetarily hijacked, why was it that during the Bush years, when gasoline prices got slightly over $2.00 a gallon for a few weeks, Democrats and the "mainstream" media got apoplectically hysterical, screeching and screaming, spittle flying, about how this hurt the poor the most, and demanding that government do something, but now, with prices heading toward $4.00 a gallon and probably more, there's dead silence? Have the poor stopped driving? Perhaps they are not actually poor anymore, and can now afford the inevitable inflation higher fuel costs will bring to manufacturing and transport of goods, services, and food? A mystery, indeed.

To continue, how is it possible that a nation with a national debt nearing $15, 365,000,000,000.00 can keep on spending money as if it actually had some? How, for example, can you justify spending over $3.6 million dollars on feasibility studies for projects that total only $3 million (http://cnsnews.com/news/article/feasibility-studies-tribal-clean-energy-projects-will-cost-more-actual-projects)? And how can it be that so many "green" energy projects, owned and run mostly by Big Donor Democrats, that got billions in government loans and "stimulus" ended up bankrupt? And where, one might ask, are the self-righteous Democrats demanding investigations and indictments from an army of Special Prosecutors and Independent Counsels? A mystery, indeed.

One might also ponder the question of why the left was either silent, or actually tried to justify, in a timid sort of way, Obama-Soetoro's unconstitutional use of military force against oil-rich Libya, claiming that the few hundred civilian casualties were all the "humanitarian" justification he needed, but has had zip, zero, nada to say about the unrestrained slaughter of civilians in oil-poor Syria? Clearly, Obama-Soetoro was into a "blood-for-oil" mode, but that only seems to count if it's a Republican who's shedding the blood. And does mass-murder of citizens by their government only matter if they live in a country with vast oil reserves, needed by America, the EU, and China? A mystery, indeed.

Closer to home, are Republicans really as stoopid as their Establishment leaders make them appear to be? How did they ever think they could benefit from trying, week after week, to answer the carefully designed trick questions thrown at them by known leftist "journalists" during what have been laughably called debates? Could they not see that they were being manipulated into making fools of themselves before the entire country? Were they unaware that they were being pitted against each other, like banty roosters in a pit? Do they still not see that the process has made them all losers, in the worst sense of the word? A mystery, indeed.

Perhaps, though, the biggest mystery of all is why We, the People, have put up with this despicable behavior, this putrid corruption, for as long as we have. The insanity mentioned here has all been pretty recent, but it's not much different from what has been going on for the last 50 years. There are, of course, a variety of reasons. Unfortunately, none of them are valid anymore. As a nation and as a culture, we teeter on the brink. Only a return to the Rule of Law — an America run strictly by its Constitution — and an adherence to right and wrong as defined by our traditional Judeo-Christian values can save us. No mystery in this, at all.
