Extreme extremism

Since Obama-Soetoro got "elected," many of us "far-right extremists" have repeatedly talked about his extreme Marxist views, his anti-Americanism, his disdain for the Constitution, his Muslim sympathies, his racism. We have, time and time again, tried to raise the alarm over his illegal acts, amounting to a long list of high crimes and misdemeanors. We have tried to shed light on his totally unconstitutional "czars," many of whom are, like Obama-Soetoro, far-left, radical Marxists and who are much more like soviet commissars than federal administrators.

And the result? At the official, government level, zip, zero, nada, with only a couple of exceptions. See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil appears to be the new guiding principle of the Republican Party.

A major exception is Florida Republican Allen West. I have mentioned him before, wishing a) that we had 534 more like him in Congress; b) that he were running for president, instead of the generally lack-luster, rubbery bunch we have been stuck with; c) that people would do whatever they can to support him; and d) that people would use him as a standard to judge other potential candidates for any office by.

Representative West is a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel, a genuine hero, forced into retirement by the squishy appeasers of the left who run the armed forces nowadays. His is a true conservative, fiercely patriotic, proudly pro-American, unabashedly pro-capitalist, unafraid to speak the truth about radical Islam and the dangerous actions and policies of Obama-Soetoro and the Marxist/neo-fascist Democrat Party. This man is everything that Obama-Soetoro is not, including being a black man who grew up in America, and made a success of himself though his own efforts.

The result of this is that the white leftists who run the Democrat Party are terrified of him. So is the Republican Establishment (aka, RINOs). In Florida, they're trying to gerrymander his congressional district out of existence, and failing that, the Democrat National Committee (DNC) has Congressman West at the very top of their hit list for the 2012 election. In addition, he has been singled out for personal attacks by the Chairfemale of the DNC, a middle-aged woman with a hyphenated last name, who still uses the first name "Debbie."

Congressman West stands in stark contrast to the lying, back-stabbing weasel posing as our president. Obama-Soetoro's latest outrage has been a move to crush the 1st Amendment of the Constitution, which guarantees, among other things, the right to free practice of religion. This, in fact, is the primary reason the Pilgrims came to America: to escape government interference in the way they chose to worship God. Having been raised in a foreign country by Muslims and communists, this is something the importance of which Obama-Soetoro seems incapable of understanding.

Despite public promises and backroom deals that supposedly prevented people from being compelled to violate their religious beliefs regarding abortion and contraception, Obama-Soetoro is moving to force Catholic hospitals to provide abortions and contraceptives, including the so-called "morning after pill," and to force workers at non-religious facilities to provide these services, regardless of their personal religious and moral reservations. The only way the odious and unconstitutional ObamaCare bill got passed in the first place was by promising that this would never happen.

This whole mess is eerily reminiscent of what the Nazis did in Germany in the mid-1930s. For those not familiar with what happened there, I suggest you read "In the Garden of Beasts," by Eric Larson. Though written with a definite progressive slant, it still gives a nasty picture of the incrementalism, the step-by-step violent oppression of hated political opponents and other segments of society (anyone notice the virulent anti-Semitism of many of the "Occupy" zealots?), and the growing boldness as they got away with it and consolidated power in a dictatorial executive.

Using Allen West as a model, I find that among the candidates for president, only Santorum comes close. But as I have said before, who is president doesn't really matter much if we can gain control of the House and the Senate. Supporting the candidacies of congressional incumbents like West himself, Ted Poe (TX), Louis Gohmert (TX), Jeff Flake (AZ), Phil Gingery (NC), Paul Broun (GA), Michelle Bachmann (MN), and a few others, and Senate challengers like Don Stenberg in Nebraska, and Ted Cruz in Texas, will take us a long way in the right direction for taking our country back from the criminals, Marxists, and neo-fascists who currently dominate our government.
