Cooling and cool

To me, happiness is heading south until when you show someone a snow shovel, they say, "What the heck is that?" So, mah fellow Amuricans, it's with a heavy heart that I tell you that global warming is definitely not happening, and, massive propaganda from the leftist media and Marxist/neo-fascist Academia notwithstanding, a mini-ice age appears to be on the way (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2093264/Forget-global-warming — Cycle-25-need-worry-NASA-scientists-right-Thames-freezing-again.html). Oh, well.

It's truly tragic that we need to rely on the foreign media to learn the truth about the phony "science" that our leftist controlled government is using to justify their undermining of our constitutional republic. Fortunately, the "mainstream" media in America no longer has a stranglehold on the dissemination of information. The Internet is a bastion of free — in all senses of the word — speech, and the left's constant attempts to tax it, control its content, and outright shut it down speak volumes to its effectiveness as a source of uncensored truth and opinion.

It's been on the Internet that conservative news sites like this one have doled a daily dose of truth that has allowed conservatives to be not simply principled, but informed. It's on the Internet that the widespread use by the left of not just junk science, but totally fake nonsense, dressed up as science has been made public. We have seen how lies and distortions have been used as justification for all sorts of draconian laws and regulations by government, abetted by non-governmental organizations, up to and including the National Science Foundation. It's been on the Internet where we were shown the incontrovertible proof that the "scientists" and university "professors" behind the self-proclaimed "consensus" on man-made global warming was pure, politically and economically motived fraud.

It's also on the Internet that we learn that billions in taxpayer dollars, looted from the treasury under the lie of "stimulus," was redistributed, not to the poor, but to rich Democrat donors who had what look to me like phony fronts tricked out as "green energy" corporations, many of which are now going bankrupt. Hardly a mention of any of this appears in the news from the Ministry of Propaganda. Hey, Al, this is the Inconvenient Truth.

However, the Internet is not just a source of news. It's a place to find out the truth about all sorts of things that directly affect our lives. A massive tangle of laws and regulations has been forced on us, based on the phony "science" of the left, ostensibly to "protect" the consumer or the environment, but actually aimed at the destruction of freedom, private property, and capitalism. Environmental laws have done the most damage, but the Ministry of Propaganda never mentions this dark side. It has been patriots on the Internet, unafraid to speak the truth, who have provided the information We, the People, have needed to fight back (for example: http://freedom.org; http://sovereignty.net). It's folks like these who have used to Internet to put the facts about the imminent danger "sustainable development" poses to freedom and liberty in America and the world. And of course, it is the Internet that has made the rise of the Tea Parties and the Conservative Rebellion possible.

The fraudulent and corrupt Obama-Soetoro regime hates the Internet, and has/is franticly trying to gain totalitarian control over it. So far, they have not succeeded. Thus, America's conservative majority has had access to the news that a) in another act of judicial contempt, neither Obama-Soetoro nor his lawyers showed up, as ordered, in a Georgia court to show proof of his eligibility to run for the office of President (or, currently occupy it!); and b) as a result, he likely will not be allowed on the primary ballot there. It is sincerely hoped that such suits will be brought in every state in our once great union, and that the individual, sovereign States will stand up in defense of the Constitution and the right of a free people to the truth.

What we have witnessed over the last three years has been not just the rapid erosion of our traditional American morals and values, and our constitutional republic and political system, but the growth of a mindless lawlessness, an attitude that the ends justify the means, even if you have no clear idea of what the ends actually are. We have witnessed the growth of institutional nihilism, based on the destructive, half-baked Marxism of Saul Alinsky and the New Left of the 1960s, and its uncritical acceptance by the mindless Marxist minions who make up the base of today's Democrat Party. Totally uncool.

Remember, it is cool to stand up, speak out, fight back.
