Mary's malarkey
By Tabitha Korol
Mary McNamara could not have been awake when she decided to review "The Life of Muhammad" that was aired on PBS (printed in the L.A.Times), or she might have realized that this was pure propaganda, designed to inspire hatred against the Jewish people. Had she paid attention, she would have realized all the lies declared against the State of Israel, and the misinformation spewed against her people. The film was propaganda at its worst, and is certainly a sample of civilizational warfare. PBS was terribly wrong to run it yet again, and the journalist exacerbated the injustice with her review.
The series spread the Palestinian narrative that is meant to delegitimize the sovereign State of Israel. It played down the six million Jews who died at the hands of the Nazis, in order to play up their own false victimhood. Note that the Arabs could have had, but refused, a state of their own when the Ottoman Empire was divided into mandates; their strategy was to usurp all the land even if they lost the wars fought against Israel. They have continued to refuse Israel's willingness to negotiate a peaceful settlement. Islamists who follow their Qur'an are commanded never to assimilate and have peace – and this is obvious in every country of the world to which they have immigrated.
How could it be that McNamara did not hear the hatred spewed by those interviewed, and still praise the show! Sabri, during the dialogue, endorsed suicide bombers, "It is legitimate, of course, as long as it plays a role in the resistance," as the body count increases. Islamists are responsible for 21,570 deadly terror attacks since 9/11/01. While Israel thrives and her people strive for the welfare of all in technological, scientific, medical and other advancements, the Palestinians have become the leading producer of terrorists. The Islamists have turned Africa into a continent of burning Christian churches with their worshippers, and Sweden into the rape capital of the world.
A Catholic convert to Islam, Green, even denounced the hero of the Republic of Turkey, Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, who created a government and parliament to represent the people, abolishing the horrific Islamic laws and replacing them with a secular system, compulsory education and education for women. Considered a pioneer of national liberation and defender of peace,
Ataturk was honored by the United Nations and UNESCO. Clearly, this film encourages a very dangerous supremacy, Islamism, terrorism, and pure hatred of all but their own Muslim sect.
Both the film and the review were a disgrace. I believe that, at the very least, McNamara, the L.A. Times, and, above all, PBS, owe a considerable retraction to the public. Garbage belongs in a landfill, not on television.
