American jihadist runs for Senate

It's hard to swallow so much Islamic revisionism and deep prejudice from Lee Whitnum, Democratic nominee for Connecticut's US Senate, without getting choked up (see http://www.jewishledger.com/) That she can still be considered an American boggles the mind. She is an Islamist who repeats the rhetoric of hate and the Palestinian victimhood narrative with particular ease — the ease of taqiyyah.

Whitnum: "In every culture in the world except Israel, if you take something that doesn't belong to you it's stealing. In every culture in the world except Israel if you kill someone it's murder."

One cannot be a respected American with our values of justice and freedom while disgorging the venom of Islam's values of hate and injustice, and ignoring Israel's worth and achievements — freedom for all her citizens irrespective of race, religion, national origin, gender; the triumphs in medicine, high tech, entrepreneurship, humanitarian aid and personal assistance to nations in need. Israel has among the first on the scene to help those affected by natural disasters, offering medical care, improvements in agriculture and clean water to Third World countries, and much more — all gladly shared with the world. When Israel must retailiate to Hamas's 5972 rockets and 12,000 projectiles over ten years, it is not murder, but self-defense. Why does Whitnum conceal the Muslim attacks from the first day of Israel's statehood?

By contrast, Islam shares Islam, its global mission that includes subjugation, genital mutilation, humiliation, amputation, decapitation, stoning, and their primary exports — terrorism and death. Muslims are killing Christians and destroying churches in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, an increase of 309% from 2003 to 2010, and Israel is the only place in these lands where Christians are flourishing and growing in number.

• Whitnum: "I personally don't have a problem with [Syrian President Bashar] al-Assad. I do have a problem with Netanyahu controlling the Middle East. ... It's all about Iran, and taking down Syria is part of it. Israel is all about taking down the entire region. All about control. I think the Arab world should be left to the Arabs."

Whitnum has no problem with al-Assad's slaughtering ~9,000+ of his own people, following in the footsteps of his father's killing up to 40,000 of their populace, but has a problem with Netanyahu's obligation to protect Israeli citizens from their violent, bloodthirsty neighbors. How does Whitnum justify the entire Islamic culture of death — 18786 deadly terrorist attacks worldwide since 9/11/01 — and her own twisted revisionism so as to destroy the only homeland in the world for the Jewish people?

• Whitnum: "Everything went a little crazy in 1998 when Ariel Sharon said 'grab the hilltops,' and since then Jews from all over the world have immigrated to Israel in order to grab the land, to the tune of 500,000 of them and many of them are Americans, In the process of forcibly taking people's homes ... in the middle of the night they'll put a Christian family or a Muslim family out of their house and put a Brooklyn family in there."

Whitnum denies Jews the right of self-defense and their legal right to their land, as she refers to a "land grab" of one/1000th of the Middle Eastern landmass, declared a state in May 1948, and officially recognized by major nations (USSR and USA). Homes were not forcibly taken. Ben Gurion's quote, often misquoted to incite Arab riots, is: "Under no circumstances must we touch land belonging to fellahs or worked by them. Only if a fellah leaves his place of settlement, should we offer to buy his land, at an appropriate price." A written statement in 1920 by Ben Gurion, quoted in 1985 by Shabtai Teveth, in Ben Gurion and the Palestinian Arabs: From Peace to War: "We do not wish, we do not need to expel the Arabs and take their place. All our aspirations are built upon the assumption — proven throughout all our activity in the Land — that there is enough room in the country for ourselves and the Arabs."

The reference to Brooklyn is flagrant malice and bigotry. The tranquil times of sitting outdoors in the evening with one's neighbors — the Lignellis, Levys, and Caseys — are long gone. While some of these friendships are as strong now as 50 years ago, Brooklyn is now also inhabited by non-assimilating Muslims who brought with them their swords of Allah, spraypaint for swastika graffiti, firebombs, and knives to satisfy their bloodlust. I note that this element of Brooklyn didn't warrant the same attention or exposure out of deference to an Islamophobic restraint of speech.

• Whitnum: I think the Arab world should be left to the Arabs."

There has been a continuous Jewish presence in the Middle East for over 3,000 years; there was never a Palestinian nation. Jews are one of the few ancient peoples to survive into modern times, and Judaism among the world's oldest living religions. If Whitnum prefers to return to the past, why choose the Arabs to inhabit that small parcel of land?

Why not regress further? Before the Muslims went on their 1400-year jihadi rampage across the continent, destroying 270 million people and their histories, why not revisit the previous inhabitants — Zoroastrians, Buddhists, Hindus, Copts, Christians and Jews.

Why not go back further still? Before those religions were the Philistines, Samaritans, Judeans, Edomites, Moabites, Ammonites and Jebusites that no longer exist, and Israelites. No Palestinians. The only culture to remain with Biblical, Koranic, and archaeological verification, along with Assyrian, Babylonian, Aramaic amd Persian texts from the 10th century BCE were/are the Israelites, the only people to have documented their existence. So, why not return the land to the Israelites.

• Whitnum: "The Israeli government lets the (U.S.) Secretary of State know if Egypt has been a good neighbor and the Secretary of State releases money to Egypt. So, it's all about Israel."

Secretary of State Clinton has restored $1.3 billion of U.S. taxpayer dollars to Egypt, but the funds support the Muslim Brotherhood (MB), a group that harbors terrorists, has strong ties to radical Islam and poses a direct threat to Israel and to US interests in the Middle East. Whitlum's logic, "It's all about Israel," is askew.

Whitnum avoids the mention of funds to Palestinians through UNRWA (United Nations Relief and Works Agency). UNRWA was to be a temporary institution in 1948, yet it now supports entire generations of "refugees," whose ancestors began a war they lost, and who are now receiving remuneration for what they could not seize militarily. UNRWA, with a current budget of a half-billion dollars, has accepted billions in international aid, including $4 billion of US taxpayer money, keeping the Palestinians static as pawns and funding Hamas's weapons and the infamous flotillas.

Despite the dire needs of Darfur and Sudan, the Palestinians who live better than most of their brethren have made themselves the greatest aid recipient. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was to withhold funds from Palestinians because of their non-compliance with cease-fire, yet she overrode part of 2011 Congress-appropriated $147 million.

• Whitnum: "AIPAC is more powerful than Republicans or Democrats. It's the most powerful force in Washington. ....They literally own our Congress. If you own 435 Representatives and Senators you rule the world."

This is proof perfect that Whitnum is anti-Semitic. I suppose she also believes in the old canards — that Jews own the banks, run Hollywood, and they're all communists. AIPAC is a registered lobby and has the privilege to fight for Israel's cause, in accordance with the laws of our Constitution. AIPAC does not have the ears of 435 representatives; if it did, Congress would long have voted that Palestinians are a terrorist organization. Yet Congress subsidizes Palestinians without overseeing fund usage; can do nothing when our President puts Israel into an unsustainable position with dangerous borders; says nothing when the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization visits the White House, and cannot prevent this administration from diminishing Israel's and America's self-defense capabalities. Does it really sound like AIPAC is ruling the world? Rather, it sounds as though the fascist Lee Whitnum would use her senate seat to advocate a jihad against the Jews.

Whitnum: On why Governor Malloy, then mayor of Stamford, called her an antisemite: "The governor is not capable of reading — he has dyslexia. He doesn't understand my stand, at least he didn't back then. The rabbis put him up to it."

Governor Malloy was wise and just to call Lee Whitnum an antisemite. She supports global Islam, and willingly advocates the destruction of a democratic Israel, ultimately to embolden Islam and submit Americans to a strengthened religious tyrant — with injustice and oppression exceeding that which we fought in our War of Independence. She is Shariah-compliant and advocating sedition. She should not be granted a government position. She is indeed a threat to all of us. If there was ever a time that we should consider a TV commercial to expose this jihadist, it is now. My fellow Jews, dig deeply into your pockets. (unsospiro@sbcglobal.net)
