At a time when Israel is facing an existential crisis by 1.5 billion terrorist-minded Muslims from a land mass 800 times her size, must she also be libeled by Christians in the UK with a hate so unfathomable since Israel has never done anything to warrant it? Despite the Palestinian propaganda, the rebuilding of Israel represents one of the most peaceful in-migrations in human history. The Jews are the indigenous people and the Zionists' return was uniquely mercantile, not militaristic. The Jews purchased land, farms and houses, funded by the Jewish National Fund (JNF) that was created in 1901 to assist in the rehabilitation and reclamation of the barren and malarial swamp land.

Although the UK claims not to take sides, I still see the Judeophobic programs and anti-Semitic articles, and question why their academics boycott the only Jewish democratic country, but not the 58 totalitarian Islamic countries that provide a life of misery for their subjugated citizens. England's long history of anti-Semitism is evident. The expulsion of the Jews from 1290 to 1656, based on the their rejection of Christianity and any financial success. England's Queen has never visited Israel, although she has been to Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Dubai, Oman, and Jordan. Perhaps the UK populace enjoy their new immigrants, the praying in the streets, the rioting that blocks traffic, the brandishing of swords; the voices raised against democracy and for Sharia law; the shrouded, subjugated women; and the multitudes on welfare, that guide the BBC and PBS media to be so violently opposed to the small democracy of Israel, and to have such a strong affinity for Islam.

The case in point is "Page Eight," a play by prominent playwright and anti-Semite, David Hare, which was produced by the BBC and aired on PBS's Masterpiece Theater. The underlying story shows brutal Israelis killing a peaceful demonstrator and causing great suffering, with a grand finale of England admonishing Israel. The purpose of the play is obvious — to vilify Israel and her people.

The BBC, in an attempt to defend the production, explained in their reply that the story was based upon the death of two activists in the Palestinian-occupied Judea and Samaria, namely American Rachel Corrie and English Tom Hurndall, but these people's membership in the ISM, the Palestinian group "International Solidarity Movement," was completely omitted.

A key witness, Retired Colonel Pinchas Zuaretz, said Corrie was killed in an accident caused by her own negligence, that her behavior reflected a very deep ideology or stupidity. Her death took place in the middle of the terrorist Intifada against Israel, and she was working for the ISM as the first line of defense against Israel's Operation Defensive Shield to stop terrorist suicide bombers. The ISM enlisted dozens of internationals to serve as support troops, which are known to serve as human shields for terrorists. Examples are those who holed up at the Church of the Nativity, to be killed if the IDF were to take action against the hiding terrorists; another was known to have met with terrorists before they left to blow up a bar in Tel Aviv. The ISM has been aiding and abetting terrorists; Corrie and the ISM were thwarting the IDF's ability to protect Israeli citizens where there was intense terrorist activity at the Hamas tunnels.

In the accounts published, ISMers admitted that several internationals had decided to put themselves in harm's way — in front of the bulldozer, for at least two-and-a-half hours; one activist, Jenny, was nearly run down (a fellow ISMer pulled her out in the nick of time). That day, the internationals decided to play Russian roulette with the Israeli army, and Corrie lost. Although her parents claim that the driver intentionally drove over her, it was proven that the driver could not have seen her squatting amidst the rubble. And the operator's obscured view, through a narrow, double-glazed, bulletproof window, and behind pistons and the giant scooper, might well have not been able to see her kneeling. The playwright gave no hint of the true circumstances.

Furthermore, several journalists have uncovered the likelihood that the Palestinians had used Rachel Corrie for sexual gratification, as they learned of the experiences of other female activists. Two activists exposed a disturbing phenomenon, an open secret within the peace camp, that many foreign women who go to Judea and Samaria to demonstrate against Israel end up being sexually assaulted by the Arab men they've come to help. These are what the Imperial Japanese called a "comfort woman" during the Second World War, and the "Humanitarian Activists" try to bury Palestinian rape of one of their own. Newspapers have learned that representatives of the protest movement and the Palestinian Authority prevent activists from making the story public. And Hare is equally complicit.

If Rachel Corrie was thus used and peer pressure prevented her from complaining, lest it hurt the Palestinian cause, this may well have been an impetus for her to take her own life. We must also realize that none of her fellow activists counseled her to keep herself safe and none tried to pull her away!

And, there is never an explanation that the "wall" is primarily a fence that has actually saved Israeli lives from deadly terrorists.

UK citizen Tom Hurndall was also a volunteer for the ISM, which has been exposed as a logistical front for terrorists. It is now known that the ISM held recruiting and strategy session at Ohio State, Duke and Georgetown Universities to get anarchists to the West Bank and incite riots to interfere with the IDF and be used as human shields. (At one point, the local Arabs asked the IDF to deport the anarchist ISMers because of their behavior.) An anarchist leader explained that Israel is the training ground for the American anarchist movement to eventually bring their tactics over to the US. This strategy was Initiated by Adam Shapiro, of New York, I am astounded that charges are not brought against him as he continues to endanger our vulnerble students and Israel and America.

Hurndell toured American colleges calling for Israel's destruction and was a human shield in Iraq for Saddam Hussein just before the US and UK troops sent Hussein to his underground bunker.

Hare intentionally withheld the truth about these activists and the ISM, thereby concealing our enemy and their strategies, and not identifying the the enemy of our ignornat University students and the rest of our citizens.

I protest their continued virulent enmity against Israel, the acceptance by PBS of such programming that continues to protect the enemy of our people, and the use of our funding — taxes and donations — to support anarchy and overthrow our governments. I urged them to air a prominent statement that tells their viewers that the events were entirely fabricated and have no basis in fact — and an apology for their negligence for not treating this as journalism, and requiring investigation. By airing Hare's play, they have been an accomplice in thwarting the British and American citizens' need to understand that this is yet another method of global Islamic Jihad.

By copy of this letter, I implore my readers to write or call their local Public Broadcasting Station or call the Virginia office, 703.682.7500, to demand retractions and cease all donations until we begin to see a complete turnaround of their blind acceptance of Islamic propaganda. It is time for them to come to grips with the need for ethics in their profession.

Thank you.
