I thought this government was stupid but now I believe it is totally insane. They have no desire to make us energy independent but are forcing us to use unproven technology which does not even have the infrastructure to support it. Let alone the poor people can't afford it. These are the same people who continually want the government to solve their problems for them. Let me tell you. Government is the problem! Read this item below and you will really get a kick out of it. (JMJ)

The true story of rising gas prices:

Secretary of Energy: Goal is not to lower gasoline prices Posted on 03/01/2012 by Chris Quinn

Tired of rocketing gas prices? Think a solution to help lower the price at the pump and ease the burden on your family budget is forthcoming? Keep thinking buddy! Secretary Steven Chu of the Energy Department told a House Appropriations energy and water subcommittee that lowering the price of gas is not a goal of the administration. "No, the overall goal is to decrease our dependency on oil, to build and strengthen our economy," said Chu. Hey Chu, the rabble is not amused. Politico reported it this way: Instead of trying lower gasoline prices directly they are working to promote alternatives such as biofuels and electric vehicles. Well Chu, you forgot to tell the majority of us who don't want one or who can not afford an electric vehicle that we can all go have relations with ourselves while we're at it. Then again, this is the same guy who said, "Somehow we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe," Chu — 2008 when he was director of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

Nice work Chu, it seems you're doing a great job of doing exactly that.

Note: You all voted for Obama to prove you are not racist or to make amends for the sins of generations past. Now vote for someone else to prove you are not stupid.
