The foreclosure market is becoming a mounting tsunami. The banks are holding on to foreclosed properties hoping market prices will go up. If those prices rise, banks will release hundreds of thousands of properties that will destroy the real estate arena. Remember what happened in the 1980's with the Hunt brothers and the Silver market. They tried to corner it, driving the price over $50/oz, started dumping their holdings and started a drop in price. They continued dumping holdings to maximize profit. In the end they lost everything. If according to the Obama administration the recession ended in June 2009, what was all the stimulus money for? Why was it needed? Almost 289,000 home foreclosures happened last month. Can the country afford another 4 years of this type of environment under the current weak leadership of Obama/Biden?
