Slapping America's face
By Armand C. Hale
I heard last night Senator Harry Reid of Nevada plans on attaching the "Dream Act" to the defense bill. The Dream Act can't stand on its own and get thru the congress, so he is going to attach it to the defense bill. If one doesn't vote in favor of the defense bill, then one is not voting to support our troops in combat. Exactly what is the correlation between the defense bill and the "Dream Act"? Nothing! This is what is wrong with this government and these long-term ingrained politicians who only do things to further themselves.
He is going to lose his seat in November and he is very dangerous right now! This plan of his is nothing more than another atrocity forced onto the American public who don't want this act in play. They are so desperate to hang on to power that I believe they will be capable of anything violent and criminal. To hell with the voting public says the socialists in general and Reid in particular in Congress. We will do what we want and you be dammed!
The public has not been this galvanized since the birth of Republic. Grass roots organizations are springing up like weeds. Some might even merge their collective strengths and becoming juggernauts. Forty plus days until the general election and all the collected frustration will be vented in the political arena. Will the outcome be so amazing as to shock the world but not the "powers to be" who want to destroy this Republic to its core?
Races to Focus On
Thank you so much everyone for the fantastic support you have provided the Tea Party Express and the endorsed candidates this primary season! After the terrific victory in Delaware, two important races should be focused on immediately. One is in Delaware — work must begin right away to help Christine O'Donnell win in the General Election, just as with her win in the primary. Support the campaign for Christine O'Donnell with a donation — HERE.
The second is in Nevada — where Republican nominee Sharron Angle urgently needs help to fight back against the millions of dollars Harry Reid has spent smearing her. You can support the campaign for Sharron Angle by making a donation — HERE. Source: http://www.teapartyexpress.org/
Tea Party Express Responds to NRSC
Tea Party Express issued the following statement in response to preliminary reports the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) would not support their own nominee for the U.S. Senate in Delaware: "Wake up NRSC, the reason tea party movements have grown into a powerful force is because of failures of organizations like yours to honor the principles of the Republican Party platform. You tried to force the most liberal Republican in Congress on the voters of Delaware and they rejected you. Wake up, you're defying the base, and will end up irrelevant and impotent organization, only to amuse the corrupt political establishment in Washington, D.C." Source: http://www.teapartyexpress.org/
Blogger Errol Phillips stated to me; I picked up this quote by Jim Demint. He made a statement pretty much says what had to be said. I and many others agree wholeheartedly.
Here is the quote: I'm at a point where I'd rather lose fighting for the right cause then win fighting for the wrong cause."
Errol, you said a cotton picking mouthful!
