Grassroots Americans, the feds, and La Raza
By Armand C. Hale
From what can be told from news coverage, the August town hall meetings have been loud, long, and pretty painful for members of Congress. Americans are speaking their mind on health care. As important as these issues raised in the town hall debates, one issue has been overlooked.
I am referring to the close association the Feds have with pro-illegal immigration groups like La Raza. Section 1221 (b) from H.R. 3200 legislation now pending in Congress would require doctors and hospitals to provide interpreters and translation services "free of charge" to all non-English speaking patients. This adds billions of dollars to costs and gives all immigrants no incentive to learn English. People need to bring up, not just subsidized federal healthcare, but subsidized health care for illegal aliens at all town hall meetings.
La Raza members have attack town hall meeting attendees. WARNING: This video contains genocidal threats, or threats of the destruction of America, or the takeover of America. This video contains violence, vulgarity, and racial explicative directed at Americans. Now with disruptions of town hall meetings by radical groups like La Raza, Move on.org and Service Employees International Union (SEIU), anti-illegal immigration groups like ALIPAC have evidence that their site is under attack from hackers. There is a strong chance that these hackers are attempting to infect computers in what is called a "web drive by attack."
Some people have been paying attention to this issue;
I had a major stroke back in 2001 and now live on Social Security (SS). I'm 54 now; I worked and paid in to SS ever since I was 15. I feel giving this (free healthcare) to illegal aliens who did nothing to deserve it but come to this country illegally, is terribly WRONG! It's time our government learns Grassroots Americans are fed up! "Mike G. of Texas."
Make phone calls to your Congressman and Senators. Various Congressmen love to hear from their constituents. Try it. You'll see. Others, the ones with guilty consciences, hate and fear your calls. So bug them. It's like most wild animals. They are more scared of their constituents than you are of them. You have the power to fire them at the ballot box and should!
Only a few of you have ever attended a Congressman's town hall meeting in person. I understand. It takes courage. Many grassroots organizations are doing so much to make it easy for you to attend and be effective at these meetings. Take advantage of it like Stacy did;
As a consistent donor, user, and proud member I too wanted to thank you for making your system free to use. Since Americans are taxed to death for representation that includes everyone but Americans it's nice to find the NumbersUSA oasis in the desert of pay to play. Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! "Stacy M. of California."
Donate something, time, anything, to home grown grassroots organizations to help pay the costs of services for the hundreds of thousands who can't afford to help or haven't yet realized that their help is needed as stated below;
I not only wish to thank all of you for providing those of us less fortunate with a means to make our voices heard, but also to extend that thanks to those whose continued contributions make this effort possible. "Nick A. of Connecticut."
Grassroots organizations are the people's forum! Get involved by;
1) Send faxes!
2) Make phone calls to Congress!
3) Attend town hall meetings!
