Now is the time for all good people to come to the aid of Sean Hannity!
By Michael Gaynor
Let's support Hannity in his pursuit of the truth and defend him against what appears to be a politically motivated effort to end the television programs of Donald Trump's friends with Fox News weeknight programs.
"First they [the National Socialists aka Nazis] came ..." is a poem written by German Lutheran pastor Martin Niemöller (1892–1984).
"First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out – Because I was not a Socialist.
"Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out – Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
"Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out – Because I was not a Jew.
"Then they came for me – and there was no one left to speak for me."
First they [the Left] came for self-described Bill O'Reilly and, in the name of punishing sexual harassment. they had "The O'Reilly Factor" taken off the air by Fox News.
Now they are coming for self-described conservative Sean Hannity (after an attempt to bring him down on a bogus sexual harassment claim), for undermining the Left's Donald Trump must have won by colluding with Russia attack.
"Now is the time for all good men to come to the aid of the party." is a practice sentence for typing invented Charles E. Weller.
Now is the time for all good people to come to the aid of Fox News commentator Sean Hannity.
Donald J. Trump would not be the 45th president of the United States without Fox News's "fair and balanced" coverage and Sean Hannity's enthusiastic and convincing support.
Liberal media bias did not carry the day for Hillary Clinton, because Fox News was covering the presidential race too and conservative commentators, particularly Sean Hannity, help Trump explain why Donald Trump should be elected.
There was a decisive "hidden" Trump vote that pollsters did not acknowledge or find, either because "hidden" Trump voters did not want to be polled or were reluctant to tell pollsters their actual preference.
When the Florida exit polls on Election Day 2016 showed Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump in the presidential race, Sean Hannity knew better.
"Progressives" not only were horrified by Trump's victory, but eager not only to frustrate Trump's political agenda but to vindicate themselves by vilifying Donald Trump.
Fair-minded people would suspect the claim that Donald, apparently a 70 year old billionaire capitalist who had been a public figure for several decades, actually is a puppet or dupe of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
John Podesta, Chairman of Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign, had used "password" as his password. Someone accessed his emails and Wikileaks eventually posted them for the world to see.
Donald Trump isn't to blame for any of that.
There is no evidence that Donald Trump coordinated his presidential campaign with Russia.
Sean Hannity has been pursuing the possibility that Seth Rich, a young Democrat National Committee employer murdered last July may have provided Podesta email to Wikileaks.
On May 23, 2017, Sean Hannity stated on his television program that he would cease discussing the possibility "[o]ut of respect for the [Rich] family's wishes, for now...."
In the same statement, however, Sean Hannity vowed to pursue facts in the future: "I promise you I am not going to stop trying to find the truth."
HURRAY FOR HANNITY!
The Left is out to get Sean Hannity's television show canceled.
Media Matters is promoting the campaign and automotive classified site Cars.com became the first advertiser to pull its ads from "Hannity." Cars.com, the automotive classifieds site, said Wednesday that it's pulling its advertisements from Sean Hannity's Fox News show.
If "Hannity" goes off the air, Fox News should pay a ratings price for choosing to go "mainstream."
This message is atop Sean Hannity's Twitter page as I type: "Please help .@seanhannity by calling numbers and let them know you support Sean! Media Matters is trying to silence him. #MAGA #SethRich"
