Election day 2012: and (again) the winner is....ACORN!
By Michael Gaynor
Make no mistake: Obama is an ACORN guy in pursuit of the implementation of ACORN's People's Platform (socialism without that troubling word).
Wade Rathke, ACORN founder and Chief Organizer for 38 years, surely is pleased.
Barack Obama, the Senator from ACORN who became the President from ACORN (before ACORN had to morph and he had to (publicly) distance himself from it by signing the defunding law and dropping ACORN as a census partner) held on to the White House for four more years.
Republican rival Mitt Romney repeated Senator John McCain's mistake — treating Obama as a fine man with whom he had policy disaagreements — and likewise lost.
Timothy Cardinal Dolan, president of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Archbishop of New York now suing the Obama Administration for its war on religious liberty, likewise helped Obama by inviting Obama to speak at this year's Al Smith Dinner, as though the lawsuit was a trivial matter instead of a monumental one necesssitated by Obama's unconstitutional conduct. Dolan got something out of it — the personal opportunity to give the benediction at the Democrat National Convention as well as the Republican National Convention, but the cost — conveying acceptability on Obama — proved to be terrible.
The result is a second Obama term, with Obama well positioned to do more "solids" for Rathke, from forcing Obamacare through Congress to appointing judicial activists Sonia Sotomayor and Elena Kagan to the United States Supreme Court to recess appointing Craig Becker to the National Labor Relations Board.
In addition, all of the Sinister Seven United States Senators who voted NOT to defund ACORN and were up for reelection — Gillibrand of New York, Casey of Pennsylvania, Whitehouse of Rhode Island and avowed socialist Sanders of Vermont, plus ACORN favorite Brown of Ohio — all were reelected instead of rejected.
Dick Morris attributed Obama's narrow victory to the 2008 surge in black, Latino, and young voter turnout not receding in 2012 to "normal" levels and 'the impact of Hurricane Sandy and of Governor Chris Christie's bipartisan march through New Jersey arm in arm with President Obama...[and] Christe's fawning promotion of Obama's presidential leadership."
Morris claimed that "[i]t made all the difference."
He had a point. But for Hurricane Sandy and the liberal media establishment downplaying Benghazi-gate and trumpeting the Obama-Christie show, Obama probably would have lost, voter turnout notwithstanding.
But morris missed the main point: once again Obama won because his relationship with ACORN again was not generally appreciated. The truth about Obama and his stealth socialist views and ACORN connections still is not generally known to the voters, the liberal media establishment wanted it that way and conservative media stars did not do enough.
Make no mistake: Obama is an ACORN guy in pursuit of the implementation of ACORN's People's Platform (socialism without that troubling word).
Audio (www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFSY2dnTSZQ) of Obama:
"...I definitely welcome ACORN's input. You don't have to ask me about that. I'm going to call you even if you didn't ask me.
"When I ran Project Vote, voter registration drive in Illinois, you know, ACORN was smack dab in the middle of it. Once I was elected, there wasn't a campaign that ACORN worked on down in Springfield that I wasn't right there with you. Since I've been in the United States Senate, I've been always a partner with ACORN as well. I've been fighting with ACORN, alongside ACORN on issues you care about my entire career."
It should not be a shock that Obama lied about his redistributionist views. He previously lied about his involvement with the ACORN political party in Illinois, known as the New Party. See www.wnd.com/2012/06/obama-member-of-acorns-3rd-party/, where it is reported that "[t]he socialist-leaning New Party had such a close relationship with the controversial group ACORN that at one point the two shared an office address, fax lines and email addresses" and the New Party "sought to elect members to public office with the aim of moving the Democratic Party far leftward to ultimately form a new political party with a socialist agenda."
As an Illimois state senator in 1998, Barack Obama told an audience at Loyola University in Chicago the truth: He actually believes in redistribution.
A video is available at http://hotair.com/archives/2012/09/19/video-rnc-jumps-on-obamas-redistribution-quote/.
But President Obama, running hard for reelection, rejected the charge that his economic plan amounts to a redistribution of wealth.
During a "60 Minutes" interview by Steve Kroft last December, President Obama claimed that his real goal is to rebuild a strong middle-class America, not to redistribute wealth.
"What's happened to the bargain?" Obama said in an interview with CBS correspondent Steve Kroft. "What happened to the American deal that says, you know, we are focused on building a strong middle class?
Kroft specifically asked Obama about his mention of "income inequality" in a recent speech. "People will say this is socialist Obama," said Kroft. "And he's come out of the closet," Kroft added.
Obama rejected that as nonsense and insisted that income inequality has nothing to do with socialism. "Everybody's concerned about inequality," Obama said. "What's happened to the bargain? What's happened to the American deal that says, you know, we are focused on building a strong middle class?"

To be elected in 2008, Obama blatantly lied about his relationship with ACORN.
If the truth had been generally known, Obama would have lost.
ACORN'S NOT DEAD!
Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch: ""...rumors of ACORN's demise are vastly overstated. ACORN and its partner in crime Project Vote are both alive and well and operating across the country."
Project Vote (www.projectvote.org) has not even changed its name.
Fitton: "Given the corrupt activities of these organizations, there is no question they pose a threat to clean and fair elections in 2012. And the fact that the Obama Justice Department will take no action to address the corrupt activities of ACORN and its thinly disguised spinoffs is a scandal in and of itself."
Exactly!
As The Examiner reported (www.examiner.com/article/obama-s-acorn-alums-mobilizing-for-2012-elections-1):
"The ACORN-affiliated groups existing today are ACORN in all but name. These groups tend to occupy ACORN's former offices, are staffed in many cases with former ACORN employees, and remain committed to ACORN's mission. Overall, Judicial Watch attorneys have documented 17 ACORN-affiliated organizations in the following states/regions: Arizona, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Florida, Louisiana, Minnesota, Missouri, New England, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington." ACORN favorite President Barack Obama is seeking reelection and ACORN Senate favorites Kirsten Gillibrand of New York, Sherrod Brown of Ohio and Bob Casey of Pennsylvania are seeking reelection too.
ACORN did not come up in the presidential debates.
It should have, but the moderators did not want to go there, President Obama prefers to look forward and Mitt Romney did not bring it up, probably because his advisers think that treating the President as honorable is the best strategy and Obama's ACORN ties and lies show him to be unfit to be President of the United States, but take time to explain.
IT WAS NOT BEING CANDID WITH THE AMERICAN PEOPLE AND IT WAS A LOSING STRATEGY!
Obama was first an ACORN Illinois state senator, then an Illinois United States Senator and finally an ACORN president of the United States.
ACORN expert Stanley Kurtz, in "Inside Obama's ACORN" (www.nationalreview.com/articles/224610/inside-obamas-acorn/stanley-kurtz) gave fair warning: "...if you're looking for the piece of the puzzle that confirms and explains Obama's network of radical ties, gather your Acorns this spring. Or next winter, you may just be left watching the 'President from Acorn' at his feast."
Don't blame Kurtz! He provided compelling evidence too.
For example:
"The extent of Obama's ties to Acorn has not been recognized. We find some important details in an article in the journal Social Policy entitled, 'Case Study: Chicago — The Barack Obama Campaign,' by Toni Foulkes, a Chicago Acorn leader and a member of Acorn's National Association Board. The odd thing about this article is that Foulkes is forced to protect the technically 'non-partisan' status of Acorn's get-out-the-vote campaigns, even as he does everything in his power to give Acorn credit for helping its favorite son win the critical 2004 primary that secured Obama the Democratic nomination to the U.S. Senate.
"Before giving us a tour of Acorn's pro-Obama but somehow 'non-partisan' election activities, Foulks treats us to a brief history of Obama's ties to Acorn. While most press accounts imply that Obama just happened to be at the sort of public-interest law firm that would take Acorn's 'motor voter' case, Foulkes claims that Acorn specifically sought out Obama's representation in the motor voter case, remembering Obama from the days when he worked with [Madeline] Talbot. And while many reports speak of Obama's post-law school role organizing 'Project VOTE' in 1992, Foulkes makes it clear that this project was undertaken in direct partnership with Acorn. Foulkes then stresses Obama's yearly service as a key figure in Acorn's leadership-training seminars.
"At least a few news reports have briefly mentioned Obama's role in training Acorn's leaders, but none that I know of have said what Foulkes reports next: that Obama's long service with Acorn led many members to serve as the volunteer shock troops of Obama's early political campaigns — his initial 1996 State Senate campaign, and his failed bid for Congress in 2000 (Foulkes confuses the dates of these two campaigns.) With Obama having personally helped train a new cadre of Chicago Acorn leaders, by the time of Obama's 2004 U.S. Senate campaign, Obama and Acorn were 'old friends,' says Foulkes.
"...Chicago Acorn appears to have played a major role in Obama's political advance. Sure enough, a bit of digging into Obama's years in the Illinois State Senate indicates strong concern with Acorn's signature issues, as well as meetings with Acorn and the introduction by Obama of Acorn-friendly legislation on the living wage and banking practices. You begin to wonder whether, in his Springfield days, Obama might have best been characterized as 'the Senator from Acorn.'"
Obama mentor Talbot was the head of Chicago ACORN and an ACORN national board member.
Claims to the contrary notwithstanding, ACORN chose to morph instead of to die.
New York ACORN is now New York Communities for Change.
Pennsylvania ACORN is now Pennsylvania Communities Organizing for Change.
Obama again carried both states.
In order for the truth to set us free, it needs to be known!
Too few voters know the story of ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief, and Obama and the liberal media establishment like it that way.
