Message to Mitt: STOP the Obama-cares-about-the-people-like-you-do nonsense!

MonCrief's goal was to free Obama from ACORN's influence by exposing ACORN, but after Obama won and began filling the positions in his Administration, MonCrief realized that he had not changed and she had been unrealistically hopeful.

Running against the first black President of the United States hellbent on reelection is hard, especially for a wealthy white male more than fourteen years his senior.

Mitt, take it for one who supported you in 2007 and is still supporting you, those who advise you to say Obama's a nice guy and to stick to policy disputes are wrong.

Obama's a liar and liars aren't nice guys.

What you need to do is stick to the truth.

The truth is that Obama is NOT a nice guy over his head as President. He's a stealth socialist determined to "fundamentally transform" the United States and, as such, he is focused on about maintaining power, not the well-being of the United States.

Why did President Obama win in 2008?

ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief, whom The New York Times identified in its September 17, 2012 issue as black, cited three reasons: a better "ground game," voter fraud and "white guilt." See the video at www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNf4fVouF5A.

Each of those was a factor.

In "Why Obama Won and McCain Lost" (www.renewamerica.com/columns/gaynor/081105), I wrote:

"McCain lost because (1) the predominantly liberal mainstream media abandoned him for Obama and the campaign coverage of ABC, CBS, CNN and NBC was biased in favor of Obama and against McCain; (2) McCain accepted public funding for his presidential campaign, as he promised, while Obama broke his own promise, refused public funding and outspent McCain hugely, without being blamed for breaking his promise and trying to buy the election; (3) three-fourths of the voters believed (rightly or wrongly) that the country was on the wrong track; (4) the country was eager to elect its first African-American president, with white opposition to Obama suspected as racist and nearly unanimous black support for Obama excused as a fitting expression of racial pride; (5) Obama's calm and polished manner contrasted sharply (and very favorably) with the manners of the Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, prior African-American presidential hopefuls; (6) only Fox really scrutinized Obama and many voters never learned important facts; (7) McCain expected to win because he is much better prepared to be President of the United States instead of realized that he could win under the circumstances only by showing that Obama was unfit to be President, (8) for decades Obama's radical allies had prepared the way for him to win this year, instead of setting the stage for the financial crisis that put Obama ahead in the polls after McCain had taken the lead; (9) the mainstream media, led by ABC's Charles Gibson, CBS's Katie Couric and NBC's Tina Fey, made it seem like Palin was unfit to be President instead of Obama, even though she had executive governmental experience and he had none; and (10) the mainstream media, particularly The New York Times, kept a lid on the ugly truth about ACORN (the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) and its ties to Obama, the Obama campaign and the Democrat Party."

All true.

Ironically, MonCrief, then a self-described "liberal," proudly voted for Obama, taking her then two-year old daughter with her to the polls through the rain.

Ironic because, as I had concluded "Why Obama and ACORN fear Anita MonCrief" (www.renewamerica.com/columns/gaynor/08102800), "ACORN has been improperly coordinating with and operating as an arm of the Obama campaign, and 'the Senator from ACORN''s involvement with ACORN has been much more than his lawful representation of ACORN in the motor voter case years ago."

Obama had blatantly lied about the extent of his relationship with ACORN in the last presidential debate and the liberal media establishment went along with it.

Stephanie Strom of The New York Times, for whom MonCrief had been a confidential source for months in 2008, had been reporting on ACORN and investigating the Obama/ACORN relationship, but was told to "stand down" by "higher up" at The Times.

Don't expect Strom to deny that, because she so stated in a voicemail that she left for MonCrief and that voicemail was preserved.

As I explained in "ACORN whistleblower: Obama's third strike?" (www.renewamerica.com/columns/gaynor/081022):

"...before Anita emailed Michelle Malkin and me, she had been working with New York Times national correspondent Stephanie Strom, but what ended up published as Ms. Strom's ACORN articles were so 'watered down' that Anita decided to turn elsewhere.

"Wisely so.

"Yesterday, Anita advised me, Ms. Strom apologetically canceled a meeting for today and explained that New York Times policy was not to publish what might be a game changing article this close to the election."

MonCrief's goal was to free Obama from ACORN's influence by exposing ACORN, but after Obama won and began filling the positions in his Administration, MonCrief realized that he had not changed and she had been unrealistically hopeful.

On October 21, 2008, MonCrief advised me that Strom Ms. Strom apologetically canceled a meeting with her and explained that New York Times policy was not to publish what might be a game changing article this close to the election.

Speaking of white racism, how could Strom have expected MonCrief to believe that whopper?

The Washington Examiner is focusing now on the Obama/ACORN relationship and that's bad news for Obama. See the "You've got a friend in me" video of Obama talking to ACORN in 2007 at http://washingtonexaminer.com/exclusive-video-obama-meeting-acorn-in-2007-you-know-that-you've-got-a-friend-in-me/article/2509060#.UGNleZb4jCa.

Washington Examiner:

"During the interview, Obama reminded the group that he believed in ACORN's mission and been a loyal partner with the organization his entire career.

"'I came out of an organizing grassroots background, that's what I did three and a half years before I went to law school. That's the reason I moved to Chicago, is to organize.' Obama stated. 'This is something that I know personally.'

"Obama continued to talk about the values of ACORN, reminding them that he was 'trained' in the values of grassroots organizing while he was a community organizer.

"'[T]hat's been my bias throughout my career, that's what I've always stood for and that's what I've always believed in,' he said.

"The president also reminded the group that ACORN was 'smack dab in the middle' of 'Project Vote,' a 1993 voter registration drive he ran in Illinois before he went to law school.

"'I've been fighting alongside ACORN on the issues you care about my entire career even before I was an elected official,' he said.

"Obama continued, 'Once I was elected there wasn't a campaign that ACORN worked on down in Springfield that I wasn't right there with you and since I've been in the United States Senate, I've always been a partner with ACORN as well.'

"Obama explained that he met many of the ACORN leaders during a meeting in Washington D.C. after Hurricane Katrina.

"'You know that you've got a friend in me, and I definitely welcome ACORN's input, you don't have to ask me about that,' Obama concluded. 'I'm going to call you even if you didn't ask me, because that's how I've operated throughout my career.'"

Speaking to ACORN to solicit its endorsement of his presidential candidacy, Obama spoke truth, but not the entire truth.

As I memorialized in "Why Obama and ACORN Fear Anita MonCrief":

"Anita made the following statements (basis or basis set forth in parenthesis at end):

1. Project Vote has violated its 501(c)(3) status by using government and private grants that ultimately go directly or indirectly to ACORN (based on direct knowledge).

2. ACORN, Project Vote and Citizens Services Inc. (CSI) are essentially the same organization with different tax designations that are used to facilitate the transfer of money between them (based on direct and indirect knowledge).

3. ACORN has promoted a culture of dishonesty motivated by reaching target Voter Registration goals and senior staff have portrayed an attitude that allows for some 'bad' cards in order to reach these goals (based on direct and indirect knowledge).

4. Karyn Gillette, Project Vote Development Director, Jeff Robinson, senior Project Vote 'money man' and Nathan Henderson James, Project Vote Research and Political Director are all employed by CSI and may have worked directly with anyone seeking the services of CSI and money paid to CSI would have obvious ACORN ties (based on direct and indirect knowledge and documents).

5. Zach Polett, former Executive Director of Project Vote and former director of ACORN Political Operations mentioned that Obama had worked for us and that he even supervised him during a ACORN Political staff retreat in November 2007 (based on direct knowledge).

"Obama in the last presidential debate: 'My only involvement I've had with ACORN was I represented them alongside the U.S. Justice Department in making Illinois implement a motor voter law that helped people get registered at DMVs.'

"That's a lie, not a fact.

"Yes, Obama represented ACORN in that lawsuit and the Clinton Justice Department predictably sided with ACORN.

"But that was NOT Obama's only involvement with ACORN.

"And Obama looked into the camera during the last presidential debate and flat out lied to the American people about it (in his calm, seemingly non-threatening manner).

"ACORN is the organization with which Obama has been associated throughout his adult life, as organizer, trainer, lawyer, funder and political beneficiary...and Obama's Achilles' heel.

"Anita reports revealing connections between ACORN and the Obama campaign based on personal knowledge.

"In late 2007, Anita reports, Anita received a call from the Obama campaign asking if this was the same Project Vote that Obama worked for in the 90's. With the staff retreat fresh in mind, Anita answered yes and sent an email to Zach Polett, Karyn Gillette, Nathan Henderson James, and Kevin Whelan stating that the campaign wanted someone to call them back regarding some media questions that were being asked at the time.

"In late 2007, Anita reports, Karyn Gillette approached Anita to tell her that she had direct contact with the Obama campaign and had obtained their donor lists. This meeting took place sometime in November of 2007 and may have even been a conference call between the campaign and Project Vote. Anita was given an excel spreadsheet to work with for cultivation of new donors. When Anita had trouble because of the duplicates, Karyn stated that she would contact her person at the campaign and see if they had another one.

"Anita reports that Karyn Gillette also provided lists obtained from the Kerry and Clinton campaigns, as well as the 2004 DNC donor lists, and that these lists were shared with the Political directors of roughly 12 ACORN battleground states in order to raise money for a $28 million dollar (number as of 11/2007) voter registration drive (based on direct and indirect knowledge and documents).

"Anita reports that research uncovered after the Rathke embezzlement scandal showed that persons demanded a forensic audit and suggested a well-known, credible firm to do it, but Bertha Lewis told them that the auditors came back with a contract that was 'too expensive' and that's what Dale Rathke told funders back when they were hoping Arthur Anderson would take over auditing (based on indirect knowledge and documents).

"Anita reports that ACORN and Project Vote used CCI to transfer money between the organizations and may be guilty of violating RICO statues (based on indirect knowledge and documents).

"Anita reports that Sidley Austin, Obama's old law firm, is representing ACORN pro-bono and Mesirow Financial, the firm hired to provide financial advice to ACORN, is headed by a major Obama donor, Richard Mesirow (based on indirect knowledge and documents).

"Anita also notes that questions have been raised about the shredding or destruction of documents by ACORN's own lawyers (based on documents)."

Mitt, the American people need the truth.

As Governor Sarah Palin would say, "You betcha!"

They caan handle the truth. (It's ever so much better than being fooled.)

To win, you need to give the American people the truth, even though it's ugly.

MonCrief can attest to what President Reagan would have called 'pesky facts" that will make Obama a one-term President and you the next President if you make them generally known.

The United States cannot afford more Obamanomics, more Obama judicial appointments and even more government dependency.
