Conservatives need to tell the ugly truth about Obama, not just dispute his radical policies

EVERYONE needs to learn the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

When ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief stated, twice, on "The O'Reilly Factor" in 2009 that ACORN had served for years as "an unofficial arm of the Democratic Party," O'Reilly did not go there.

That tells us who's the bold, fresh piece of humanity now (www.billoreilly.com/bold-fresh-piece-of-humanity).

Christian Hartsock's biography at www.RenewAmerica.com reveals: "Hartsock co-produced b-roll of Hannah Giles for the California acorn tapes..." (http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/hartsock).

Hannah Giles and James O'Keefe did not do those "Pimp and Pro" ACORN videos without any help. (There was East Coast b-roll too, but no one has claimed credit for it.)

Now young Hartsock has warned conservatives against supposedly counterproductive tactics, in "Keep the tea kool-aid-free: 5 stupid conservative tactics that serve the MSM's narrative" (www.renewamerica.com/columns/hartsock/101025).

First, Hartsock gave this fashion advice: "Let's not overdo it with the 18th century costumes. While festive and somewhat thematically appropriate, it doesn't speak to my generation, and often begs the mainstream media to caricaturize us as Halloween-padded fringe throwbacks. We can all agree on restoring the constitutional vision of our founding fathers, but restoring their fashion sensibilities? You will have to call me a progressive on that one."

By using the word "overdo," Hartsock largely immunized himself from criticism. Who would advise "overdoing"? By definition, it's too much, a mistake. But if Hartsock's generation has been taught to mock the "fashion sensibilities" of our founding fathers, agreeing that they didn't know how to dress is a mistake too.

Second, and much more importantly, Hartsock ridiculed Tea Party "mantras' — that President Obama "betrayed the American people" and that "We the People have spoken and never wanted Obama's policies" — as "convenient," "presumptuous" and "seemingly amnesiac."

Lying to the American people IS betraying them, and the American people never wanted Obama's radical policies.

Hartsock:

"Obama made his agenda clear during his campaign: He promised to socialize health care, to push for cap and trade, to implement tax policies that would 'spread the wealth around,' he equated redistribution of wealth with 'neighborliness,'Bulletin supported the 2008 Wall Street bailouts, demonstrated his faith in Keynesian economics, his class warfare mentality, his distrust for the free market.

"We the People were given these promises and facts, and We the People elected Barack Obama president by a 7 percent margin. Period. In fact, many of the promises the left held Obama to were broken, including his promise to preserve bans on offshore drilling, to close Guantanamo, to pass an immigration bill in the first year, and to pass the Freedom of Choice act, among other things. Thus the president has even fallen shy of satisfying his most liberal supporters.

"To trumpet this narrative makes conservatives seem like sore losers in denial, and to threaten a 'second revolution' with upside-down flags as a reaction to losing a fair election speaks more about a general bitterness towards the electoral process itself which is inconsistent with our supposedly superlative support for the constitution."

Bulletin for Hartsock: The election was not "fair," because the liberal media establishment did not scrutinize Obama and even covered up for him, not all voters listen to and/or watch Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin and Laura Ingraham and, after winning the Democrat nomination, Obama ran to the center, opposed an individual mandate and blitzed battleground states such as Ohio with reassuring ads, not radical ones.

Third, Hartsock insists that "Obama's 'Muslim faith' is not a winning issue" because "eye-opening footage of Obama touring a mosque in Turkey and shocking soundbites of him pandering to Muslims (much the same way Bush did) hardly constitutes proof" and "[m]ost who embrace our conservative ideals will have a few questions about the difference between the Muslim way to veto a spending bill and the Christian way to veto a spending bill."

As Justice Joseph Story wrote in Section 1879 of Commentaries on the Constitution, "...the Catholic and the Protestant, the Calvanist and the Arminian, the Jew and the Infidel, may sit down at the common table of the national councils without any inquisition into their faith or mode of worship."

Like Ann Coulter, I believe that President Obama is an atheist, not a Muslim or a Christian. None is disqualifying, but character matters and blithely assuming anyone is what he or she claims to be is foolish, especially when he or she is a politician.

Fourth, Hartsock proclaimed that "[t]he incessant nitpicking of the president has got to stop" because the nitpickers have "a deficit of decency and an oozing, unconditional bitterness." Hartsock is incensed that Sean Hannity ran "a segment about Obama's choice to order French Dijon mustard on his cheeseburger rather than American ketchup." But some voters want to know that John Kerry wanted Swiss cheese on his Philly cheese stack and Obama prefers French Dijon mustard to American ketchup, especially when the Obamas are telling people who to eat and not to eat.

Fifth, Hartsock warned that "the apocalyptic end-of-the-republic-as-we-know-it rhetoric, while possibly true, probably makes moderates feel they are being put on and reinforces the right's reputation for fear-mongering, and most importantly, deludes our message."

Deludes?

Delude: "to mislead the mind or judgment of : deceive, trick" (www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/delude).

I think that Hartsock deluded himself.

The truth is that Obama is a stealth socialist and a liar. It explains why Obama has governed the way he has governed and it needs to be told.

MonCrief explained it in "Obama, ACORN and Stealth Socialism" (http://hotair.com/archives/2010/05/29/obama-acorn-and-stealth-socialism-dire-domestic-threat/).

I explained it in "The emerging corruption in America is stealth socialism" (www.renewamerica.com/columns/gaynor/100731).

Stanley Kurtz explains it in Radical-in-Chief (www.amazon.com/Radical-Chief-Barack-American-Socialism/dp/1439155089).

We need to tell the truth, not to skirt it.

Voters now trust Democrats over Republicans in only two areas, one of which government ethics and corruption by a 41% to 36% (www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/mood_of_america/trust_on_issues).

If voters realized that Obama lied about his relationship with ACORN during the last presidential campaign and his campaign illicitly coordinated with ACORN/Project Vote, the Republicans would have a big advantage on government ethics and corruption.

Hartsock: "I'm confident most in my generation would embrace our [conservative] message if they simply knew it was that simple, and could hear it more audibly over the screaming about Obama's Muslim faith, the hyena-like cackling over his every move, the beating of the drums and the battle cries for the coming revolution."

EVERYONE needs to learn the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.
