The real problem with Fox News

Fox News has the means to win its war with the Obama Administration, but does it have the will?

With the Obama Administration having publicly designated Fox News as an "opponent," it might seem to many that Fox News must have targeted President Obama himself and tried to bring him down.

Not so.

Fox News has targeted ACORN and select members of the Obama Administration, but it has not targeted President Obama personally.

"King of Cable" Bill O'Reilly has been careful NOT to question President Obama's integrity, to disassociate himself from the views of Fox News's star conservative commentator, Sean Hannity, and conservative Fox News contributors (for example, Michelle Malkin), and to defend President Obama against "personal attack." For example, O'Reilly dissed "the birthers" as people who believe that "Obama was born on Saturn" because they criticize President Obama's refusal to do what Senator McCain did — produce his birth certificate.

But O'Reilly does not fully support the Obama agenda and so even he is a threat and to be treated by the Obama Administration as an "opponent."

The truth is that Fox is NOT a rightwing network.

The truth is that Fox is the most balanced network and ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN (aka "the alphabet networks") are all leftwing and enthusiastic Obama supporters.

Some Fox commentators have embarrassed the Obama Administration by reporting what Al Gore would call "inconvenient truth" if he would admit it is true.

Even that is too much for the Obama Administration.

Sean Hannity is trying to have Kevin Jennings removed from his office in the Obama Administration.

Wikipedia:

"Kevin Brett Jennings (born May 8, 1963) is an American educator, author and administrator. He is currently the Assistant Deputy Secretary for the Office of Safe and Drug-Free Schools at the U.S. Department of Education.

"Jennings endured a difficult childhood and became a high school teacher. Jennings holds degrees from Harvard University, Columbia University's Teachers College, and the Stern School of Business at New York University. He founded the Gay and Lesbian Independent School Teachers Education Network in 1990, which became a leading group seeking to end discrimination, harassment, and bullying based on sexual orientation and gender identity. The organization later changed its name to the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network. In 1992 he was named co-chair of the Education Committee of the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth in Massachusetts. Jennings has authored six books on gay rights and education, including one which won the Lambda Literary Award."

Hannity is right, but in targeting Jennings he's only trying to take a "pawn" off the board, not to checkmate "the king."

Glenn Beck's efforts resulted in Van Jones resigning his office in the Obama Administration.

Wikipedia: "[Van Jones] was appointed by President Barack Obama in March 2009, to the newly-created position on the White House Council on Environmental Quality, where he worked with various 'agencies and departments to advance the administration's climate and energy initiatives, with a special focus on improving vulnerable communities.' In July 2009 he became 'embroiled in controversy' over his past political activities including his 1990s association with a Marxist group, a public comment disparaging Congressional Republicans, and his name appearing on a petition for 911Truth.org. Highlighting these issues, conservatives launched an aggressive campaign against him. Jones resigned from the position in early September."

The Obama Administration should be delighted that Fox News stars have focused on the likes of Jennings and Jones instead of President Obama himself.

But they are not.

ANY resistance is intolerable, especially if it is not necessarily futile.

In the spring of 2007, after Obama announced his presidential candidacy, Hannity focused on the relationship between President Obama and Rev. Jeremiah A. "God damn America" Wright, Jr. He interviewed Rev. Wright, but he did not have the ammunition he needed to expose Rev. Wright and thereby to derail the Obama presidential campaign. Hannity did not obtain that video of Rev. Wright's "greatest hits" until about a year later, by which time it turned out to be too late for it to be used to stop Obama.

If research in March of 2007 had been complete, the Obama presidential campaign would have ended in defeat.

To stop the implementation of Obama's radical agenda, including Obamacare and Cap and Tax, it has to be demonstrated to the American people that Obama is the tool being used to implement the radical ACORN/SEIU/LaRaza agenda.

That's not something the ACORN 8 want to help Fox News do.

That takes an EX-radical who was on the inside, NOT radicals who support President Obama and are engaged in a power struggle with other radical Obama supporters.

The key is ACORN whistleblower Anita MonCrief, who learned last year that doing an Obama/ACORN expose was NOT what The New York Times, or ABC, or CNN, wanted to do.

Last year Fox News seemed ready to do it, but Ms. MonCrief did not trust Fox News.

This year Ms. MonCrief is ready, but Fox News has not been steady.

Last May, Fox News presented Ms. MonCrief on Mother's Day and the following Monday and then Bill O'Reilly declared "war" on The New York Times and recruited Ms. MonCrief and Heather Heidelbaugh, Esq., first vice president of the Republican National Lawyers Association, to report on ACORN corruption and ties to President Obama and the Obama presidential campaign.

They did.

Ms. MonCrief even explained that ACORN had functioned as "an unofficial arm of the Democratic Party for years."

But that news seems to have been "too hot" for O'Reilly. The"war" he declared against The New York Times has been uneventful since he interviewed Ms. MonCrief and Ms. Beck. He was so busy explaining that he was not complicit in the death of abortionist George Tiller that he let New York Times public editor Clark Hoyt have the last word.

THAT was absurd.

O'Reilly mostly left the war against ACORN to Beck.

That's a war that could destroy Obama politically and frustrate the implementation of his radical political agenda, so Fox News is now officially an Obama Administration "opponent.

Beck proved bolder and more effective, but in his clownish way that detracts from the seriousness of the matter, and he handicapped himself greatly by allying with the pro-Obama ACORN 8.

ACORN 8 head Marcel Reid and Beck are an odd couple: a radical who claims that ACORN is a wonderful organization that recently was hijacked and is selective about what corruption and/or criminality to expose and determined to lead ACORN herself and a self-described libertarian who professes fidelity to the Constitution and seems to appreciate that ACORN was created to be subversive, but ridiculously blames Democrats and Republicans equally and foolishly treats the current ACORN 8 control group as "black hats" and the ACORN 8 as "white hats."

Fox News has the means to win its war with the Obama Administration, but does it have the will?
