Grow up, get a grip, or get out of the way!

The Presidential election that happened two weeks ago was one of the most important of our lifetime. It literally determines the course of our nation for the next 40+ years. And yet, around the country there are protesters/rioters railing against the people's choice – Donald J. Trump.
Two weeks after the election, on college campuses there are either student walk-outs or hate-filled protests from the most militant lefties. For the snowflakes in the student bodies there are sit-ins, cry-ins, whine-ins, Play Dough therapy sessions, kitten and pony-hugging therapy sessions, and plenty of new safe places created to protect them from the big bad wolf Trump. Even high school principals are allowing students to cut classes to protest the election. Are you kidding me?!
Of course, Hollywood elitists and the rest of the Establishment, including political, corporate, and media have been stellar examples of acceptable adult behavior. Yeah, right. Well, America, it is time for a big-time reality check. It is time to grow up, get a grip, or get out of the way!
It is mind-boggling and sickening to watch how Americans have behaved these past two weeks. It seems we have lost our collective mind. What kind of example for the rest of the world are we?
Just the behavior allowed in high schools is enough to get a parent's blood boiling. In my day cutting classes was not tolerated by parents. Did we do it? Yes, but there were consequences at home and at school when caught. School officials issued punishment for cutting classes, not permission. Besides, once upon a time, there was genuine respect for elections and the democratic process.
Things did begin to change in the 1960's, with a major protest at the 1968 Democratic National Convention. Vietnam was at the heart of the rebellious sixties, a time that also ushered in an acceptance of disrespectful behavior that's now considered the new normal.
College officials throughout America caved to the hippies and their demands. Consequently, our institutions of higher education began to lower standards and change policies to satisfy this group of radicals. The cry of the hippies was one of always being against "the man." Now guess who the man is? It's the radicals. Yes, these people were of Hillary Clinton's ilk that followed Saul Alinsky, and worshipped Marx, Mao, and Che. They believed in the causes of groups like the Black Panthers and Weather Underground, groups that today would be called terrorist if we had a government with a spine.
So now that these radicals are running things, it is their time to finally obliterate the system. One way is to create a small army of angry, militant youth who will attempt to "burn it all down." The other is to create masses of wusses, wimps, and crybabies. Just the activities of the last two weeks show the effectiveness of this plan.
We already know the elders of the Clinton Crime Family were among those radicals in the 1960's. In 1969 while in Russia, Bill protested against America, and probably did so in other countries as well. This used to be called treason. Instead, he got elected president, then proceeded to sell our top secrets to China, and probably other countries. See a pattern here? Then his wife, after being a Saul Alinsky follower devoted to tearing down America, finally landed a job as secretary of state where she could continue the family tradition of selling-out America, and treason, which eventually led to her candidacy for the presidency.
But let's not forget other radicals like Bill Ayers who continue to warp the minds of our youth, all while continuing to protest against all that is considered common sense. (Remember that Bill was a mentor of Obama.) It is a sad state of affairs when people in their 70's are still in the streets protesting. Sadder still is that such people are not just carrying signs, but are instigating violence.
Of course, another couple of radicals and hatred spewers are Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. These men work under the guise of protecting black people, when in reality are working much like the community organizers of Alinksy/Clinton/Obama ilk. Why the black community doesn't totally reject them is baffling. They are nothing but race baiters bent on dividing the races, not uniting them. Hmm...kind of like our current president. When we are united, not divided, there's no role for them. Further, if they can keep stirring-up racial tension, they can continue to shake down corporations and communities to enrich themselves. Fellow Americans, these kinds of people are what the colleges are creating. Is this what we want for our children? Moreover, are more of these kinds of people who we want to continue running our country? Seriously?
Then there are the rest of the grown-ups who are simply the poorest of the poor losers. Forgetting their own mantra that elections have consequences, the Establishment acts like it's the end of the world that a Republican has won election to the presidency. Of course, the Republican Party won both houses of Congress, and has at least 33 governorships – the most in decades. Talk about a mandate! But is it end of the world? Not even close. Had Clinton been elected, an EOTW scenario was much more likely, even probable.
The media talking-head adults did all in their power to undermine, mock, and excoriate Candidate Trump, and all who followed him. These self-serving pontificators ridiculed what used to be called a common sense approach to restoring government, like abiding by our founding documents, and restoring the Rule of Law. They didn't just jump on the Clinton campaign bandwagon, but literally drove it right over the people Clinton called a basket of irredeemables and deplorables. Mind you, Trump followers basically think government should be of, for, and by the people. We also think that if we as individuals should live within our means, then our government should do so as well. Further, we believe America should have borders if we are a country, and that our existing immigration laws should be enforced. For these beliefs, media scorns us.
The adults in MSM are a part of what's drastically wrong with America, a major reason why our nation is so divided. A report released today by Gallup shows that a record 77 percent of Americans believe we are a divided nation. Sadly, only about half of the Americans polled believe that President Trump will be able to unite us. Well, if the MSM continues in its divisive, combative, freedom-destroying, propaganda-pushing rhetoric, we will become even more divided.
Then there are those other adults who run things, like our current-sitting politicians. Where do we start?! Take for instance Barack Obama. After completing almost two terms in office, he still speaks out of both sides of his mouth. Yes, he met with Trump shortly after the election, pretending to offer assistance when needed, while behind the scenes he is doing all he can to undermine the President-elect. Take for instance the fact that a renovation of the Oval Office was scheduled long ago, according to Karl Rove. Instead of having it done during his term, Obama decided to forgo the inconvenience involved and instead allow the next president to suffer. Consequently, President Trump may not be occupying the Oval Office for at least a year. At a time when America needs to come together to fight real, serious obstacles to our very existence, the President will be denied use of his traditional office. Talk about bad optics!
While campaigning for his new BFF, Obama repeatedly said Trump is not fit to hold office. While recently traveling overseas he has made condescending remarks about the new president-elect. Now he is alluding to the fact he will not remain silent after leaving office, breaking an unwritten code of behavior practiced by most previous presidents. With another 59 days before Trump is sworn in as our 45th president, Obama can still do a lot of harm. He could double-down on the number of "refugees" he brings to our country, or the number of illegals entering our country through the southern border – a number now totaling 1500 a day, according to a report on Drudge posted earlier today. Do we really understand how upset the leftist/socialist/communist Democratic Party really is? They have lost power, and are about to lose a whole lot more. We'll talk more about this in our next column.
The above-mentioned groups, while entitled to believe anything they choose, must now come to grips with the fact their candidates lost this election. A majority has spoken and elected more conservative people to govern our nation for the next few years. Therefore isn't it time for us all to put on our big boy pants and big girl panties, and get on with fixing what's broken in America? Somehow, all Americans managed to get through perhaps the longest presidency in history this past eight years. Four years of real and meaningful change from President Trump's administration will be exciting and beneficial for ALL Americans. It's a new day with a new president, so let's grow up, get a grip, or get out of the way! To anyone willing to hear....
