Revolution 2016: Trump & silent majority vs. permanent political class & fourth estate

What happens when people are oppressed by tyrannical governments? They either acquiesce or revolt.

From the Declaration of Independence, we read:

We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all
Men are created equal, that they are endowed by
their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that
among these are Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of
Happiness – That to secure these Rights, Governments
are instituted among Men, deriving their just Powers
from the Consent of the Governed, that whenever
any Form of Government becomes destructive of these
Ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it,
and to institute new Government, laying its Foundation
on such Principles, and organizing its Powers in such
Form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their
Safety and Happiness...July 4, 1776


Americans fought a major revolution to free ourselves from a tyrannical power. And now, a huge, I repeat huge (channeling my Donald Trump), portion of America is beginning a new revolution fighting against yet another tyrannical power – our own Federal Government, which from here on will be called the Permanent Political Class. Those waging war against the PPC consist of a large contingency of American citizens called the Silent Majority. Sadly, and to our own shame and demise, for over two centuries we remained silent, obedient, respectful, tax-paying citizens. After all, we elect our representatives, and they want to protect our constitutional and God-given rights of "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness." Right? The signers of the Declaration of Independence pledged their "lives, fortunes, and sacred honor" to protect us. The leader of Revolution 2016 is Donald J. Trump, whom I truly believe is willing to pledge his life, fortune, and honor to protect our rights, and yes, Make America Great Again.

We the People have been betrayed and abused. Our elected leaders and representatives have lied, manipulated, and duped us. These men and women who constitute the Permanent Political Class come from both, or no, political parties and have gained increasing power, wealth, prestige, lifetime health and retirement benefits, and live extravagant lifestyles on the backs of tax-paying Americans. How, you might ask?

We donate to get them elected, we pay exorbitant taxes that fund ALL government operational expenses, every program, every handout, AND every one of the aforementioned privilege/perk/benefit of said representatives/leaders. In the meantime, as these leaders/representatives raise our taxes, the middle class is disappearing, and increasing numbers of people must rely on some form of assistance from the PPC. Oh yes, the people who are still working must now not only fend for ourselves and bankroll the PPC, but we must also support all the other citizens whom the government has forced into being on the dole. But I almost forgot all the deadbeats, border-crashing, illegal immigrants, or the PPC train/plane/bus-transported immigrants de jour that we must support. My goodness, one would think that we American tax-payers have money trees in our backyards that produce unending crops! Or big printing machines like the PPC!

Only a fool, or a liberal Democrat, would deny that for decades, We the People have come under increasingly oppressive rules, regulation, and restraints from our federal government. This government is supposed to work for We the People, the citizens of these United States. Instead, we now work for them.

Please note that in communism, everybody works for government, and then the government decides, what, if anything, the workers receive. Yes, I realize some of you might not believe me. We live in an extremely dumbed-down society in which people often don't recognize truth when it hits them in the face! As I heard Diamond and Silk (diamondandsilkinc.com) say this morning, "Truth is now hate speech." Nonetheless, if we have become a stupid people, it is our own fault. We have allowed the PPC to dumb down our children. Parents, own some of the blame already. But as adults, none of us have an excuse to be stupid. Put simply, stupid is a choice. But I digress...

Once upon a time, We the People were more careful about whom we chose to serve as our representatives in government. Integrity mattered. Read the constitutions of the individual states. And when various representatives didn't adhere to their oaths of office, or abide by the promises they made to right the wrongs of the government, we did what we were supposed to do. We fired them, and hired new ones. (Remember, these guys work for us.) But in the last 50 years, standards have seriously declined. Now, we have allowed representatives to change sides from serving us to serving themselves. We leave bad guys in office – sometimes forever – mostly out of greed, i.e. the hopes of "pork and perks" being brought to our own districts. When we do get the intestinal fortitude to oust someone, we replace him with someone uttering the prettiest, most seductive and pork-promising words. But just about every time, it's all lies! Once in Washington, D.C., almost all of our representatives fall prey to the seductiveness of power, instead of remembering they are only servants.

The mid-term elections of 2014 were the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. Republicans won both houses of Congress by a landslide. We the People wanted change, and we spoke with our votes. And what did we get? Heaping amounts of same old, same old. All the while, these elected officials were either in bed with the dictator-in-chief, or sat on their hands in silence while our America-hating president ripped apart our Constitution, and spat in the proverbial eyes of all Americans.

There is another force involved in this undermining and takeover of America – the Fourth Estate. Most Americans believe that the media is supposed to be a cheerleader for government...perhaps because that's how they behave. However, in the 18th century, Scottish philosopher, Edmund Burke, described what we today call the press as the Fourth Estate, which was supposed to act as a "watchdog on the other 'estates' of the time – clergy, nobility, and secular authorities." (source: Yahoo News and Takepart.com) Today, the Fourth Estate is no longer a watchdog that keeps governments and institutions honest, thus helping curtail corruption, but instead is complicit with the forces that are destroying America. By the way, full disclosure, as Judge Jeannine says...

My college education is in journalism, public relations, and advertising. I left the PR field decades ago upon realizing what I learned in college didn't equate with my actual corporate experience. I discovered that PR is sophisticated advertising and promotion that utilizes lies, manipulation, and deception – whatever it takes to "sell" your product/business/client. D.C. lobbying firms are PR firms. (More on this later.) As for journalism, I am sick about how the majority of the press operates. There are still some competent journalists, but most of them won't be found on the major networks. Increasingly, the most reliable ones are found through alternative media sources – the ones the government is trying to silence.

So, with all this in mind, Americans are now at a point of total frustration and perhaps some helplessness. Again, we're back to the beginning question: What to do? Acquiesce or revolt?

Well, We the People who have had it with being slaves to our PPC masters, found a Washington "outsider" who is willing to put his wonderful life and business on hold to run for, and hopefully, win the presidency of the United States. Our leader is Donald J. Trump.

Official Notice to the PPC & Fourth Estate: We will be silent NO MORE! We understand you think we're just a bunch of pesky little people in what you not-so-affectionately call "flyover country." We understand you find us disgusting, what with our guns, Bibles, and religious beliefs. Go ahead, continue to mock us.

Trump is talking about real issues that average Americans are concerned with, frustrated over, and which our elected officials refuse to discuss. He doesn't dance the Washington "Two Step." He believes in the Constitution, wants America's borders secured, wants all Americans to have the opportunity to prosper, and seeks to reform government. In short, he is saying all the things we tax-paying, hard-working citizens discuss around our kitchen tables. And his message is resonating with the masses despite our political affiliation. And the PPC and Fourth Estate are apoplectic!

Dear friends, I am not alone in saying that I am deeply grieved, and pray a lot about the state of our nation. Our future is in serious jeopardy. I just checked the U.S. Debt Clock. Our debt is just short of $19 trillion. Debt per citizen is $58.6 thousand; debt per taxpayer is $158.2 thousand. Just these figures should scare us all into making serious changes within our government. We've been electing the same people over and over and over again, expecting change, but instead getting the same results. (Isn't that what is called insanity?!) The PPC lives large, while many of We the Taxpayers struggle just to survive. Our nation is a laughing stock around the world. We need a strong leader who is NOT beholden to the PPC.

There is much more to share on this matter which we'll do in part two. For now, I call all people to awaken, arise, and act in restoring one nation under God. To get to the point of restoration, we must first be awake, and then arise! At this point, we can learn what must be done to take back America. Are you with me? Have you finally had enough of being mocked and ignored? Are you going to continue to acquiesce, or are you going to revolt?

Revolution 2016 has begun. It's an us-against-them scenario: Trump & the Silent Majority vs. Permanent Political Class & Fourth Estate. Are you ready to rumble? To anyone willing to hear....
