Who is they - - who is we?
Why no outrage!
By Clenard Childress
The Reverend Jesse Jackson once said: "That is why the Constitution called us three-fifths human and then whites further dehumanized us by calling us 'niggers.' It was part of the dehumanizing process. The first step was to distort the image of us as human beings in order to justify that which they wanted to do and not even feel like they had done anything wrong. Those advocates of taking life prior to birth do not call it killing or murder, they call it Abortion. They further never talk about aborting a baby because that would imply something human. Rather they talk about aborting the fetus. Fetus sounds less than human and therefore Abortion can be justified." That was 1977. The Reverend Jesse Jackson was undoubtedly one of the most eloquent and insightful social-activists of the post Martin Luther King era. His keen analysis of the eugenic attributes of the Planned Parenthood and their pro-Abortion agenda is riveting and quite precise. This protégé of the Civil Rights Movement was quite a "Jedi Knight" until he was seduced by the dark side. Jackson's quest for the presidency made him susceptible to the promise of prominence, power, and prosperity from the "Evil Empire."
Without voices in opposition, with their true purpose still concealed, the diabolical plan to victimize African-American women, and their unborn children, continued unimpeded. As "party" became more preferred than "principle," perceived African-American Leadership became more concerned about profiting from discrimination, than ending it. Keeping the "Boogie man alive" meant relevancy for their "social-activism" endeavors. The tragedy in all this is they became more of the problem than the causes they pretentiously fought.
Abortion kills more African-Americans than all seven leading causes of death combined! Yet the Reverend Jessie Jackson, the Reverend Al Sharpton, the NAACP, the Urban League and a host of others, remain remarkably silent on this crucial issue. The detrimental health risks attributed to Abortion are never discussed, nor studied, by the above mentioned institutions due solely to political, and/or monetary reasons. I appreciate Tavis Smiley's efforts to be objective in his commentary and analysis of President Barack Obama, but I would like ask Mr. Smiley this: How in the world can you produce a television panel of Black leaders, call it the "State of Black America," and not have an in-depth discussion on the impact of Abortion on the Black community? It's like being homosexual and not talking about AIDs! It's like smoking three packs of cigarettes a day and never considering lung cancer!
Any question of these organizations and individuals' gross negligence and willful acquiescence to the Abortion industry, was clearly seen last July in a published New York Times interview with Supreme Court Justice, Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Not one of the race-baiters took issue with the most blatant racist comment of an elected, and/or, appointed official in our new millennium. NO, NOT ONE! Justice Ginsberg opined,
If all this is a little too much to swallow, remember this: Today the leading Abortion provider in America — Planned Parenthood — received approximately One Million of your taxpayer dollars, and will continue to receive approximately a Million Dollars every day for the rest of the year bringing the total to approximately $357,000,000 this year! I wrote it out so you could see what it looks like with all those zeros zeroing out our children. And also remember this: Ruth Bader Ginsberg made her comment last July! You would think by now there would be some demand by some notable agency or organization to explain her Third Reich comment explaining Roe vs. Wade, but the silence is deafening.
So I ask you, why no outrage? Here is something else to consider. What should invoke a greater response and a greater demand of this racist, bigoted comment is another, more salient question: WHO IS WE?
To my African-American Brothers and Sisters, it is obvious we cannot wait for the obsolete vanguard of our community to demand an answer. It is left up to the people who stand for true social justice, those who believe in the Declaration of Independence, to lift up their voices and say, "We Hold These Truths To Be Self Evident." And Justice Ginsberg, your comment is an enemy of the truth.
We, the Anti-Abortion — Pro-Life individuals of conscience, uphold the privilege of every person conceived, to have their God-given right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness!
The We Ginsburg refers to... the they Jackson mentions... must be defeated, no matter who We and They are.
