Obama and your conscience
He now demands your soul

"That is why right temporarily defeated is stronger than evil triumphant. I believe that even amid today's mortar burst and whining bullets, there is hope for a brighter tomorrow. I believe that wounded justice, lying prostrate on the blood-flowing streets of our nations, can be lifted from this dust of shame to reign supreme among the children of men." These prophetic transcending words were spoken by America's greatest social activist Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King at the occasion of his acceptance of the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964. I believe the essence of Dr. King's words speak louder today than yesteryear. I also believe they are the point of reference for America especially Black America that reveals how far we have culturally drifted off course.

Last week President Barack Obama indicated he will rescind the pro-life conscience protections for medical personnel who would choose not to kill an infant in the womb, by dismembering the child by pulling apart their body. Yes, due to "conscience" most doctors who choose to keep the Hippocratic Oath which they pledged to protect life would be forced to perform this despicable act. In keeping with his genocidal ideal logy Barack Obama felt it wasn't enough to rescind previous legislation that prohibited funds for killing babies. Like Roe vs. Wade those were "rights temporarily" defeated and because "truth crushed to earth shall rise again "they will be one day overturned. Obama who repeatedly uses religious rhetoric to buffer his narcissi behavior now proposes legislation that imposes upon the very "conscience" of a person. Barack Obama now demands your soul. With the blood of over 50,000,000 million babies flowing in our nation's streets the president fires another shot at wounded justice, who is all ready face down.

America picture this, a doctor who knows full well that what he is about to do is murdering a human being when they are at their most vulnerable stage of life. Due to today's technological advances the doctor has empirical evidence and realizes that in the womb of this woman is a baby. This doctor also believes from reading the Declaration of Independence that rights are not given nor conferred by the state but or given by the Creator at conception, when life began, he or she is now asked to ignore God and conscience and kill the baby! America, if he or she refuses they will be under the penalty of the law! This is what Barack Obama calls Change.

Is this what so many supporters were looking forward to in the Obama presidency when they shouted gleefully, Yes We Can? We need to ask as Americans, "Where dose this all end? What is this leading to? Will doctors be asked later to kill the elderly or disabled patients that don't meet his criterion as living and viable human beings? Absurd? Look closely at what our president is doing.

Obama is making the "choice" for the doctor, to perform an abortion on women that made an ill advised "choice" which will kill a baby that had no "choice."

The White House is asking for public comment and once again it will be interesting to see how many voices cry out against this evil. If our voices are raised in unison" we can lift ourselves from the dust of this shame and reign supreme 'with a clear conscience and no blood on our hands. In my book, No Shepherds Cry, I shared the dire concern God had with King David was not his sexual indiscretion but that he showed no pity, no remorse, and no conscience. We need Nathan's who will be true to conscience and faithful to the Judeo Christian heritage.

If there was ever a time for the "Mega Church" to live out its name it's now! It is beyond ironic that in this legislation for the "conscience clause" to be rescinded by a black leader when it was our greatest black leader who appealed to the conscience of society to rid America and the world of injustice.

Dr. King said, "There comes a time when one must take the position that is neither safe nor politic nor popular, but he must do it because 'conscience tells him it is right.'"

Mr. Obama, conscience tells me this is wrong and evil. This is an unjust law, and as Martin Luther king quoted from St. Augustine, "An Unjust Law Is No Law At All."

St. Thomas Aquinas: "An unjust law is a human (obama) law that is not rooted in eternal law and natural law. Any law that uplifts human personality is just. Any law that degrades human personality is unjust."

May the leaders of conscience allow their voices to be heard without cowardice by the White House. and all of America. This will ensure our "hope for better tomorrow."
