Question: How do you convince a well-educated and sophisticated New Yorker to vote for you?
Answer: Give them a free bus ride.
This is politics in the Big Apple for 2025. This is the campaign of Zohran Mamdani.
For those who have spiritual discernment, all that is needed is this:
“For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist” (2 John 1:7).
For those who don’t mind a bunco battering, there is the lazy man’s method of getting scammed. It’s called don’t worry — the guy with the smile couldn’t possibly want to hurt you.
You Won’t Need a Prophet New York
When Jesus was being beaten, scourged, and crucified, he was also being mocked. At one point they asked him to prophesy or discern exactly who it was that was beating him.
“Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others smote him with the palms of their hands, Saying, Prophesy unto us, thou Christ, Who is he that smote thee?” (Matthew 26:67-68).
When New York sees the collapse of every system of governance and a surge toward pandemonium, they will not need a prophet to tell them just who gave the Big Apple the big bruises.
With AOC standing by like his archangel on the right hand, Mamdani tells a whopper about his aunt that was forced to stop using the subway. Later the sycophants discover it was not his aunt, but a distant second cousin. But then he smiles, so all is well.
In essence, Zohran’s answer to the 9/11 slaughter of three thousand Americans is a lie and a smile.
Yet somehow these allegedly sophisticated and cosmopolitan New Yorkers bought the story, and went away happy and smiling, all the way to the voting booth to check the box for the flimflam man.
Many Antichrists but Only One Big Brother
“Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time” (1 John 2:18).
It isn't just the student of the Bible who knows there are many types of Antichrist, but any secularist will give you the quick list of well-known historic Antichrists such as Nero, Antiochus Epiphanes, Hitler, Mussolini, Pol Pot, Mao Zedong, and a host of others.
Antichrist-type people have certain familiar traits. Besides being narcissistic, egotistical, and megalomaniacal, they offer new hope, new ideologies, and even new patriotism, as did Hitler in Germany when it was at its lowest time after World War I. But one thing seems to stand out above all other traits, and that is a simple charisma. Likeability, a smile, a charming way. All the simple things that attract people to people.
Journalist Selwyn Duke says, “This is where those who dislike Mamdani—and I’m one of them (I actually consider him immoral)—must be careful. People are generally loath to give those they dislike credit; they view them through tinted glasses.” But studies have shown what the Throughline media-training blog stated years ago in no uncertain terms: “The Most Charismatic Candidate Always Wins.”
If all it takes to be hornswoggled is a little charisma, then New Yorkers have been had.
Some think that Mamdani would make a better candidate for expulsion from the United States than a candidate for mayor of New York City. Fox news reports, Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., is sending a new request to the DOJ to probe Mamdani, a self-declared Democratic socialist and New York State assemblyman, who is the frontrunner in the race to lead the Big Apple.
Since his initial inquiry in June, Ogles wrote that "additional public reporting has raised further questions about Mr. Mamdani's past statements and associations, including his refusal to disavow violent anti-American rhetoric and continued public praise for individuals convicted of providing material support to Hamas.”
In fact, if Republicans are too lazy to stir the pot now, they will be forced to regurgitate what is in the pot later.
All antichrist-type figures come on like the brightest stars in the constellation, but they burn out in ignominy, all while taking many down with them.
Those who make qualified warnings are saying Mamdani will be the fall of New York, and while it doesn’t have far to fall these days, the loss in humanity will be gargantuan.
In the end there will be only one Antichrist. Perhaps Mamdani is not the final Antichrist, but he might be thought of as a runner-up or a type of Antichrist.
The final Antichrist will come to power most likely out of the European Union. He will have certain traits and habits that are the same as all antichrists, but in the case of the final Antichrist, there will be some unique aspects that have never been seen in the history of the world.
The following is an excerpt taken from an article I wrote in May of 2006. It explains some of the characteristics and behaviors of the final Antichrist – it is up to you to judge whether you can see these character traits in New York’s shining new mayoral hope.
Besides his adherence to some of the most destructive and failed ideologies in modern history, Mamdani shows many of the signs of being just another wannabe despot, a slickster, and someone who is drawn to one of the three greatest temptations that all men face: fame, fortune, and power.
Mamdani obviously is reaching for the ring marked “power!”
Traits, attributes, and general personality characteristics of the antichrist
He has no interest in women in general. Some people believe he may be gay because of this. I believe he has no time for women, because he is altogether too busy either wielding power or focusing on himself. Daniel 11:37
He is vicious and self-serving and violently uproots his rivals and political opponents. Daniel 7:20-24
He is enamored with himself and the sense of his own self-importance. He could easily be considered the king of megalomaniacs (Daniel 7:1) (Revelation 13:1) (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4).
He has trouble speaking without blaspheming God, the people of God, or anything connected to God. He is a prolific boaster of his own brilliance and self-worth. Daniel 7:25
He has only disdain for most commonly established civil laws of man, or moral laws of God. He attempts to change most of the rules and ignores the ones he chooses not to regard. He gives new definition to the word recalcitrant. Daniel 7:20-24
Things the antichrist will do during the inaugural or first part of his rise to power.
He makes a pact with the Jewish people and the apostate church this would be something of a protection agreement. He doesn’t keep the agreement, but it looks good to the rest of the world. Daniel 9:27
He gains the full support of another powerful figure called the false prophet. This man is from an entirely different nation and is probably a political figure or at the least a minister of science. The false prophet does some dazzling tricks and signs but passes the glory or the respect from those who are awed by his spectacularisms over to the antichrist. The false prophet is singularly his most powerful ally. Revelation 13:11-15
He is a class act in every way and gains the respect and admiration of the whole world. He draws them through his astounding abilities, his striking appearance, and the help of demon spirits sent throughout the world to win the hearts of his adoring admirers. Revelation 13:1-5
He blocks or uproots either his rising opponents or those who are already in power. Daniel 7:20-24
He thinks his power, wit, and intelligence are what makes him so successful, but in fact he gets his power from the same entity that blinds his followers so they cannot discern who he really is.
That entity is the god of this world; we sometimes call him Satan, and Revelation figuratively calls him the Dragon.
Perhaps Google AI says it the best.
In the Book of Revelation, the dragon (Satan) gives the beast its power, throne, and great authority. This cosmic struggle is depicted in Revelation 13, where the dragon, symbolizing Satan, delegates his power to the beast, which is often interpreted as a representation of a powerful political or governmental system.
