What is the source of inspiration and power for liberalism and left-wing socialism in America?

Former President Donald Trump spoke to the people at the Believer’s Summit in West Palm Beach on Friday, July 26, 2024. The event was created by Turning Point Action, a non-profit organization working in high schools and colleges, founded and directed by Charlie Kirk. It is a conservative group of Christians who are actively praying and engaged in working for a full return to religious freedoms in America.

Donald Trump has a clear record of support for religious freedom. Anyone who has not been asleep for the past almost four years knows that the Biden administration can boast of no such record.

As biblically admonished believers, we don’t stand around and wring our hands, puzzled and bewildered, asking, "Why?" We know why the left gathers against faith and churches. We know the source of their inspiration.

We know that their source is not a little red-faced demon whispering temptations in their ears while perched on their shoulder, but rather a powerful covering angel who holds temporary power over the entire world.

“In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them” (2 Cor 4:4).

He does not just do demon tricks for the rank-and-file sinners, but he is in charge of evil on a much grander scale. In fact, he is in charge of leaders, kings, and kingdoms across the globe:

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places” (Eph 6:12).

Wrestle?

Many Christians just follow the world and choose to declare the usual “religion and politics don’t mix” notion. All the while, their enemy knows that religion and politics are, and have always been, connected at the hip. Nearly all resistance to God and His kingdom and persecution to His people have come directly through civil and political leaders. It is history.

Is your father a murderer, a thief, and a liar?

While addressing the religious and political leaders in his time, Christ said that their father, or the one from whom they received their power, was a murderer, a thief, and a liar.

The Pharisees were, in Jesus’ day, both religious and to some degree, the civil rulers of the time. They got church and state intertwined, and it was a sort of hell on earth for the average citizen of Israel.

But Jesus knew the source of that power; we choose to ignore that today. But the source has not changed. Leaders can, and still do, get their power from the same source.

“Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it” (Jn 8:44).

Once again, Democrats, who’s your daddy?

Media, academia, and politicians: Blind guides?

Deceptions will increase before the promised last and worse war in the history of mankind known as the Battle of Armageddon. In troubled days, deceptions are more easily accepted because, under pressure, kingdoms and nations are more willing to gamble on their leaders having all the right answers.

The very best example is from the last half century of Roe v. Wade. We label the right to abortion a means to protect women’s health.

The sixty million (60,000,000) human beings who died under Roe is 480 times more people than died in the nuclear bombings of both Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan.

How can we use the word “health” after learning this immutable fact of history?

We are not just deceived. We are thoroughly bamboozled!

“He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them” (Jn 12:40).

We will not be healed by Kamala Harris or any other politician or leader who does not regard the Words of the Living God and his Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
