Ghosts of the dead lament at Biden’s State of the Union

This writer often wishes he had the luxury of being a ribbons and roses prophecy person. The kind of message that promises nothing but God’s blessing—full restoration of everything lost, and the return of the good times—has always been the stuff of false prophets and those who will not take responsibility for the truth.

I don’t care to face God one day with only a flimsy explanation for why I did not do the one thing God called me to do in this life.

All the political pundits will cover the SOTU with razor sharp scrutiny. They won’t miss the yelling, the obfuscation, the blatant lies, the endless exclamations of what he “wants to do” – or the absence of all the things he never did.

Joe Biden’s rhetoric and his record are a stark contradiction.

No American, who is not at this moment under the influence of drugs or alcohol or sleeping, can miss this fact.

The “don’t worry, be happy” Christian sites don’t much care for serious rebuke and good political punditry hardly needs a boost these days.

Twenty years of online publishing have taught me one thing, most readers stop reading before they get to the heart of an article, based on the estimated time to read any particular piece.

With that in mind, let’s get to the point.

Those who love power – often love nothing else

When Christ was just about to enter history, the sleazy power-hungry King Herod knew the time was near, and he feared the loss of his own power. Like most all the Jews in his day he could not see the great parenthetical age between Christ’s first coming and his eventual return. He expected Christ to take his throne and give him the boot.

Herod did what many worshippers of power have done throughout history – he killed all threats by killing all the people who were real or only perceived threats. It was in indiscriminate clean sweep.

We all know the story – he had about 200 babies murdered in the area of Bethlehem. That was every newborn baby at that time.

It brought a dark tsunami of sorrow and lamentation. To wit:

“In Rama was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are not.” (Mt 2:18)

Lamenters and the Ghosts of Heroes Lost Visit the SOTU

When searching for a big bruiser type of Republican congressmen to stand in your corner, look no further than diminutive, tiny, little Marjorie Taylor Greene.

Like a fearless giant, Greene interrupted the President to remind him that Laken Riley is not Lincoln Riley the famous football coach. The callous mispronunciation of Riley’s name is just more of the lack of concern for the American people Biden has consistently shown in every policy decision he ever made.

Biden peered up to the empty seats where the parents of Laken Riley, after being invited to the address, were conspicuously missing. His face went pale as the moment seared his heart and conscience – or did it?

Riley is the 22-year-old nursing student from Georgia who was brutally and mercilessly killed by an illegal immigrant, who Joe Biden helped to enter the country.

Did he see her ghost, did he hear her echoing cry for help, for her life?

From Lance Corporal to Free Spirit – A Bereaved Father Cries Out

Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui was among a group of 13 U.S. service members who died at the hands of the Talban in the botched Biden withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Just as Biden proclaimed that America is now safer since he took office, Lance Cpl. Kareem’s father yelled down two words from the balcony of the chamber.

Steve Nikoui yelled, “Abbey Gate,” the place where his son was sent to eternity.

This brave soul was hauled away and later arrested.

No, Mr. President – America is Not Safer

This is what we know.

Americans are dying from drugs like fentanyl, and they are dying from assaults by illegal immigrants. They are struggling to pay for everything, and they are being taxed into the grave so you can give away their money and their honor to those who have no right to it. And now you think we should give you another four years?

To borrow some words that you often use, this is no joke.

Here are the words that best describe the full effect of your entire administration.

“When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn” (Proverbs 29:2).
