Is the world now safe for sodomy?

On April 2, 1917 President Woodrow Wilson asked Congress for a declaration of war against Germany. His speech to the Congress included the now iconic line – "the world must be made safe for democracy."

This memorable line from Wilson's speech was followed with these words which are rarely quoted – "If there should be disloyalty, it will be dealt with a stern hand of repression ...."

Wilson proved he meant business because following his speech anyone holding any anti-war views was suppressed and dealt with severely including being charged with treason. Many were persecuted including Mr. Eugene V. Debs, who was sentenced to prison for ten years for acts of sedition.

One hundred years later along comes one President Barack Obama, declared America's first gay president by Time Magazine. After playing his part in boosting everything gay, from stating that he needed to show gays more love to the routing of the Defense of Marriage Act and replacing it with Obergefell.

Can we now say that America and the world, is safe for Sodomy?

When the Civil War ended many blacks moved to Washington DC to be near their emancipator. Once again, the freed of the gay movement have responded. Now polls show, that DC has passed San Francisco and now 10 percent of its citizenry is said to be homosexual.

Have the Sodomites followed their savior to his last and usual place of abode for a sense of safety?

The stark difference between gays and blacks is that for African Americans it was actually a race issue and not a matter of sexual preferences and imagined new sexual identities

It is thought by some that the world's coming final dictator, the anti-Christ, will also be a homosexual.

"Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all." (Da 11: 37)

The whole world will follow that leader to their final judgment which will leave this world desolate.

Creeping sodomentia made its way to the Republican National Convention only last week where "conservatives" were applauding former founder of Pay Pal, Mr. Peter Theil, who proclaimed that he was proud to be a homosexual.

Are these the same people who promised to support the RNC platform, which calls for the defense of traditional marriage?

Are these the same Bible believing, first and second amendment defenders of liberty and justice we all thought knew the seven distinct passages in their bibles that clearly say that homosexual practices are an abomination to God?
    1. Destruction and judgment of entire cities, regions or nations that practice homosexuality. (Genesis 19: 1f)

    2. Described as an abomination, (sin that leaves God disgusted) and strictly forbidden. (Leviticus 18: 22)

    3. Severe penalties added to the practice of homosexuality. (Leviticus 20: 13)

    4. Those who profess that it's perfectly normal have become fools and are charged with lying and leading themselves and others to a state of reprobation. (Romans 1: 22-32)

    5. Kept out of future entrance into the Kingdom of God. (1 Corinthians 6: 9)

    6. Defilement and misuse of the laws of God. (1Timothy 1: 9, 10)

    7. Undignified perversion that leads to eternal fire. (Jude 1: 7)
So what was the applause about? Is a proclamation of pride about a sin something to applaud?

Doesn't the same crowd know of the passage of scripture that describes that old Devil, that we now call Satan, as being – the father of the prideful?

"Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear. He beholdeth all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride." (Job 41: 33-34)

The greatest singular incongruity of the convention was when Thiel said, "I don't pretend to agree with every plank in our party's platform; but fake culture wars only distract us from our economic decline, and nobody in this race is being honest about it except Donald Trump."

Perhaps Donald Trump does not have enough theological understanding to know that a nation's economy and its morality are inextricably entwined according to the bible. I can mitigate for Trump, but it is too far a stretch to find an excuse for a crowd of thousands in a conservative convention offering up exuberant applause for the gross sex sins of others.

"Fake culture wars?" No, Mr. Thiel, this war is quite real and it is far more deadly than you can imagine. Concentrate on the economy? You are just as confused as those who applauded you.

Almost forty years ago I received a clear and distinct message from God that was hard to understand at the time. It has since become easier to see and as close as it has ever been. I might say as close as this year or the next, but whenever it befalls us it is clearly due to the fact that we are applauding evil rather than rebuking it.

The prediction was for a time of economic collapse for our nation that will make the Crash of '29' look like good times in comparison.

It is stage one of a far more serious set of judgments – if we do not turn, repent and wake from our stupor about these sinful practices.

When it begins – no one will be applauding.

Perhaps the world is momentarily safe for sodomy, but the world is anything but safe from the interventional judgments of a just and holy God.

"For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape." (1Th 5:3)
