Why Obama must have a second term
By Russ J. Alan
The mythical character Ronald Reagan, as spoken of by many conservative political fiction writers, with an almost nearly unprovable existence today due to the absence of any trace of his economic legacy — though some site the rubble of the Berlin Wall and the temporary setbacks experienced by the now dormant and re-emerging Soviet Union as evidence he actually walked the Earth — was blamed during his presidency for the terrible economic turmoil created during the administration of the now noted Nobel Laureate and brilliant political philosopher and 2009 Civil Rights Leader, James E. Carter.
Four years after President Reagan's mythical second term in the White House ended, the now practically untraceable effects of his fabled "trickle-down economics" (unless you want to use as evidence the likes of IBM and Bill Gates) was credited to President William J. B. Clinton (or was that William B. J. Clinton? I forget...).
The security threats caused by the effects of the Clinton administration, such as, I don't know... not reacting to the first World Trade Center bombing nor to the attack on the Khobar Towers barracks in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, ignoring the attacks on the US Embassies in Africa and the bombing of the USS Cole, China Gate (the selling of missile guidance technology to the Red Chinese to raise campaign funds (the news of which was purposely interrupted by the Democratic National Committee's creation of the fictitious Monica Lewinsky Scandal)) not to mention President Clinton's and Vice Pagan Albert Gore's planning of the 2001 attack on the World Trade Center that killed over 3000 people — all were blamed on...you guessed it... President George W. Bush.
The peace and safety afforded us by the Bush administration has been credited to President Barack Hussein Obama. After all, it is President Obama's openness and willingness to talk and negotiate with terrorist leaders and presidents of rogue Arab nations who finance terrorist activities that have created the safe world environment that we have today, not the "failed policies of the Bush Administration."
Do we want the economic effects of Obama's first term in the White House to be blamed on a conservative president in what could have been Obama's second term?
Even Ronald Reagan would be unable to fix the economic mess that is certainly coming as a result of the Obama administration, and it ain't gonna take two terms for the tsunami to hit.
We must vote the Democrats out of Congress in 2010, but we could really use the incumbent President in the White House for his second term. The conservatives will OWN the White House after that.
