JERRY NEWCOMBE — Soon another 4th of July will be upon us. On July 4, 1776, 56 men voted to adopt the final wording of the Declaration of Independence. This was a milestone in history. Today, there is a war on America as founded. Ironically, those who engage in that fight are attacking the very source of their freedom to so engage. If they are successful, they could well find themselves one day the victims of their own actions—akin to proponents of cancel culture getting canceled themselves.... (more)

CLIFF KINCAID — A new Netflix series, “Catching Killers,” looks at murderers caught by law enforcement using police work, fingerprinting, and DNA testing. A program like this, of course, should also focus on the villains in the mass murder of more than one million Americans and nearly 7 million people worldwide who have died from COVID-19. It would be an easy case to solve, but bringing about real justice as a result is a more difficult proposition.... (more)

YOUTUBE — Dr. Jordan B. Peterson and Eric Metaxas discuss his most recent book, “A Letter to the American Church,” which argues it is a betrayal of faith by those who stay silent in the face of tyranny. NEWSMAX — The Supreme Court will likely rule Friday on President Joe Biden’s student loan forgiveness plan and LGBTQ protections ahead of its summer recess, reports SCOTUSblog. Biden last year announced his plan to forgive up to $10,000 in student loan debt ($20,000 for those who received a Pell Grant), a move that was met immediately with legal roadblocks. The program has now faced at least six lawsuits from Republican-backed states and conservative groups.... (more)

Daniel Greenfield's introduction to 'Barack Obama’s True Legacy: How He Transformed America,' by Jamie Glazov, ed.
WORLDNETDAILY — Barack Obama’s presidency was historic. Pundits said it, celebrities tweeted it, and the community organizer from Chicago was not shy about constantly bringing it up. And it was true. Over a decade after his inauguration, we are still living in his shadow. His history of economic decline, racial division, and terrorist appeasement is our present. The third term of his presidency under Biden makes him inescapable even long after leaving office. The Biden administration is extending his fundamental transformation of America.... (more)

If elected, would reverse Biden administration's transgender advocacy
BOB UNRUH — President Donald Trump, in an appearance at the Faith & Freedom Coalition meeting in Georgia, promised a nationwide ban on child sex mutilations, if he is elected in 2024. "Something else I find hard to believe that I have to even say. It's so ridiculous. It's so horrible and so ridiculous. I will keep men out of women's sports. And I will sign a law prohibiting child sexual mutilation in all 50 states. Prohibited," he said.... (more)

MARGOT CLEVELAND — Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss told the House Judiciary Committee he had “been granted ultimate authority” over prosecutorial decisions related to the criminal investigation into Hunter Biden in a June 7, 2023, letter obtained by The Federalist. However, Weiss’s letter to Congress — and Attorney General Merrick Garland’s earlier testimony to the Senate Judiciary Committee that Weiss had “full authority” to charge Hunter Biden — directly conflicts with statements Weiss made to senior members of the team investigating the Biden son.... Symbol of an attempted regime change
THE FEDERALIST — The United States is undergoing an attempted regime change, and the pride flag is its emblem. This regime change has been more than a century in the making. Initially, it flew under the Stars and Bars while hollowing out its meaning. Now it has its own emblem, the pride flag. This year we witnessed the American government’s elevation of that pride flag to a place of competition and sometimes dominance over the American flag. Notoriously, the White House participated earlier this month.... (more)

POLITICO — Trump University never died. It’s located in the middle of bucolic southern Michigan, halfway between Lansing and Fort Wayne, 100 miles and a world away from Detroit. WAYNE ALLYN ROOT — Have you seen the latest polls? Not only is former President Donald Trump winning the GOP presidential primary by a mile in every credible poll, but he's also beating President Joe Biden by a large margin in the general election, too – in both the latest Rasmussen and Harris-Harvard polls. But there's something else brewing among the American electorate, something utterly remarkable. Despite all the negative press … and hatred … and vitriol … and indictments, Trump also holds the title of "the most popular politician in America." Amazing.... (more)

JERRY NEWCOMBE — America is going to Hades in a handbasket. A large portion of Americans agree we’re headed in the wrong direction. But when Christians try to get more involved in the culture and in politics, they are often told to cease and desist—sometimes even by fellow professing Christians. In fact, if a pastor were to preach on today’s moral issues, he might be accused of “preaching politics.”... (more)
